BACKGROUND:

born in busan, jo led a happy and positive life. having
a family of four, life was perfect in her eyes. her family was rich enough to supply what they needed, and what they wanted as well. her whole family had a sports background, with her dad being a professional soccer player, and her mom being a professional badminton player, jo was silently pressured to become like them.

without having much inspiration to pick a sport she would focus on, she tried every sport she could even though she was at a young age, hoping to find one she was good at and get attached to it. but woops, it wasn't that easy. though she did enjoy playing volleyball, she didn't really love any of the sports she did, making her demotivated.

because of this, she decided to focus on her studies msore, and push aside sports for a while. she got pretty good grades too, often getting at least into the top 15. this had continued for the next few years, and she was contented with her life just studying, but there was always this uneasy feeling that something was missing in her life.

jo always had a lot of friends since she was quite a bit of a social butterfly. they would be the ones to support her and listen to her whenever she would feel depressed about sports and what she should do. one miraculous day, jo had finally time off from studies, meaning she could have time to think and focus on sports. calling her close friends to her house, they hanged out and talked about jo's problem on sports and some other random things.

while jo was busy crying and hating herself for not liking any sport unlike the rest of her family, one friend suggested for her to do dance. dance was NEVER in jo's mind, but come to think of it, dance can be considered a sport at times too. deciding to follow her friend's advice, she begged her parents to let her get dance lessons to see if she would like it, preferably hiphop. so, she did, and 3 words, SHE LOVED IT.

it was honestly the most fun she's ever had in her life. she didn't know what was so special about it, but nonetheless, she just loved it. this started her passion for dance, and for the following years, her love for dance never faded. in fact, it just increased throughout the years.

now, was the hype for kpop. honestly, she was just a pretty normal girl, and normal = a kpop fan. once she got into kpop, her perspective on music changed. she learned to love music as well. because of her love for kpop, she took lessons on how to sing and play some instruments such as a guitar, a piano, and a harp so that she would be able to cover kpop songs for fun.

after learning these, her love for music deepened more than just because of kpop, and she started to respect music as a whole, and not just because kpop was her life. from then, she was starting to get called a future idol becaude of both her musical and dance skills, not to mention her visuals as well.

her parents actually supported this, as long as their daughter was happy, it was a-okay with them. they were proud of their daughter for finding what she loves by herself, proving her independence. and from then on, she's had nothing but a happy life with her family (and some drama at school too ofc).

PERSONALITY:

jo honestly looks like an angel, a sweet little girl who's shy and demure, but in reality, she's the complete opposite.

  — she's actually pretty freaking loud and ear - busting, though looking shy at first. she's the life of the party and a moodsetter as well. she can just burst into a big ball of sunshine all of a sudden, and burst everyone's eardrums out.

  — she's really athletic, and can honestly blend into a group of guys pretty well. she's not shy with boys, and honestly enjoys hanging out with them. she's pretty much a really big and popular girl crush because of this.

  — though you wouldn't exoect this, yes, she is a flirt. but not intentionally. honestly, she's just really straightforward in calling others pretty, handsome and such. she compliments people because she wants them to be confident and such, not because she's not interested in them.

     mangoes, because mangoes are amazing.

   — she actually has a love - hate relationship with spicy food. it numbs her tongue and hurts her mouth alot which she hates, but beneath the spiciness is a really delicious flavor so she just can't stop eating it.

   — she just finds it so cute, that she just wants to bang her head on a wall whenever she sees them. she has numerous plushies of them, but she loves the small white bear plushie the most out of all of them.

   — as much as she gets scared of horror movies, she just can't stop watching them because of the rush of adrenaline and thrill the movie gives her.

   — she really likes wearing crop tops because she finds them really pretty and fashionable or course. it also kinda lets her feel free whenever she's dancing.

DISLIKES:

• dolls ( porcelain )
  — she may keep up with plushies, but she absolutely HATES dolls, escpecially glass or porcelain ones. after watching movies like ‘The Boy’ or ‘Annabelle’ she’s pretty much traumatised and threw away every porcelain doll she had ( except the cute one her grandfather gave her for her birthday ).

   — as much as she finds them to be super cute, she's kinda traumatised by the time a cat landed on her head and scratched her.

• watermelons
   — ok, this is a bit weird. she actually is ok with the taste of watermelons, but they taste really weird too, making her stay away from eating them.

• vegetables
   — as healthy as she is, jo absolutely hates veggies. she’s kinda like a child reacting to vegetables if she sees one and someone forces her to eat. she just kinda pouts there and refuses to eat. if she goes on a diet, she eats fruit instead.

   — she doesn’t know, it just tastes pretty weird and not really sweet unlike what she likes. she also got traumatised by that gross jellybean challenge called bean boozled.

   — whenever she sees mom jeans, she thinks of one word: no. seriously though, just no. she just thinks they're really unfashionable.

   — she's ok with bugs, but lizards just make her want to die. she finds them kinda gross and scary after one stuck to her sister's shirt before, and immediately skedaddles once she sees a lizard.

HOBBIES:

• drawing
  — though she can literally only draw stickmen, her own drawings make her laugh, making her extremely happy and doing it often.

• playing the guitar
  — it's her favorite instrument, so she really enjoys it when she plays the guitar. sometimes, she sings and dedicates a song to one of her friends.

  — since she has a big sweet tooth, she learned how to bake to make herself some sweets without spending much
money. she mostly bakes cakes, but she could make cupcakes, muffins, and more.

• has actually learned taekwondo in the lower grades, and uses it for self - defense.

• was part of the choir in her school, but eventually decided to quit because of her busy schedule.
