background: Growing up, Jae grew up with three other brothers, two of them being younger than her. Along with being younger than her, they were also little pests and Jae grew to despise their sarcastic, belittling humor. At school, Jae was eye candy for the boys and goals for the girls, but she didn't really understand why. Still, since she didn't really talk to anybody, nobody talked to her. personality: Right off the bat, Jae seems like a very cold person with a sharp tongue. She doesn't like to speak very often, and will sass you until you shut up and leave her alone. Every once and a while you might see her smile during an interview; it just takes some effort. She has the habit of being a hypocrite as well, too stubborn to admit her mistakes. Her clumsiness is a good example. She is often seen bored and uninterested during interviews and such, but she is just not used to the public eye. However, once you get to know her, she can be very passionate and possessive about a few things; she is sometimes like that onstage, though some might not notice it. Jae actually enjoys being humorous (usually dark humor) and for things to be exciting—it's just that she likes watching it from a distance. first impressions: At first, Soonyoung finds her to be very beautiful, but kind of strange and sad, so he tries to cheer her up. Jae thinks of him as a little too cheery and kind, to which she is suspicious.

Beginning - he tries to cheer her up from her (what seems like) down attitude, acting sweet and doing things for her.
Middle - he still tries, but this time he tries harder. It almost becomes overbearing, how much he is trying to lighten to mood.
End - he starts to calm down a bit, giving her her space that she needs. He begins to understand her more.

how she acts around him:
Beginning - she is very cold and dismissive at the beginning.
Middle - she is still sometimes stubbornly acting emo, and starts to find him to be annoying, to which her sassy side comes out.
End - he seems to have taken a step back, which she appreciates. She realized that she should at least try to be kinder more, so she does. It's not perfect, but it's her best.
