[17:59] Elias Tanne asks, " ...We have a prisoner?"

[18:00] Midia Di Maria says, "She was just held for being affiliated with a war party that was against us, but she wasn't meant to be baddly treated as she was not a war ennemy herself."

[18:09] Grover glares at Xavier. "That's not very polite."

[18:09] Midia Di Maria says, "Oh- Yin."
[18:09] Yin says, "Yeah."
[18:09] Midia Di Maria asks, "Where's Canna? Did you release her?"
[18:09] Yin says, "Nah, I didn't. I have no clue."
[18:09] Grover Winters says, "I found that in the cell. Just for the record."
[18:09] Grover Winters asks, "Did it belong to Canna?"
[18:09] Midia Di Maria says, "Then where is she? I've checked every jai-- Wait..."
[18:10] Grover Winters asks, "Hmn?"
[18:13] Midia steps up closer, visible concern befalling the kitsune as her eyes narrow and furrows. There's obviously something prompting a very strong degree of doubt and serious in her, as she moves in closer with an annoyed look.

"This IS Canna's... What..."

The kitsunes reaches out, trying to grab the item as she would still be appraising it no matter if she would be allowed or not.

[18:13] Midia Di Maria asks, "Inside the jail cell?"
[18:16] Grover would nod with a solemn look of concern in his face. He'd then reach into his backpack to bring out yet a few more clothing items of minor value or importance.

"That's correct. Inside the empty cell. I also found a few more wares, nothing remarkable… a couple of hair ornaments as well. Bright, colorful remainders of hair tossed around..."

He'd frown slightly before giving his point of view.

"If you ask me... the things I saw looked as if somebody had been looted in the scene."

[18:19] Elias touches her hand to the hilt of her sword with a frown. Someone, somewhere, had something to answer for.

"You see why I advised caution, Lady Midia."

[18:22] Nial Aliev asks, "What y'all up to?"
[18:24] Midia's eyes widen. Now she was almost in shock.

First she hears of Kuwei's wedding with her current worse ennemy, and now she hears of a potential fight INSIDE THE PRISON.

What kind of tormented twist of fate was that?! The kitsune thought about the craziest things, but slowly and without doubt, the air of panic and anger was growing thick over her features.

Her voice speaks quietly at first, almost as if in denial.

"W-What kind of stupid joke is this... Sh-She was right inside the fort, in the middle of town."

But soon, her eyes, still locked over the clothes seems to grow more and more firey with rage- Anger even, as she clench her jaw and speaks more loudly, more energetically even.

"Yin, who the hell was in charge of it?!

Why am I hearing about my daughter's harm inside our prison">"
a scream, suddently errupts from the kitsune. It was too much. ""RIGHT AFTER THEY SAID SHE'D BE SAFE?!"

Her eyes are fixed on Yin, almost as if vivid with rage. She had lived through so much yet everytime she tried to accomplish something, it came back around to the same thing.

More pain, it always came back to it for her.

[18:27] It was many-many things that happened while Yin was away.

Many of those things were still not known to him, but the most recent event that happened was Canna being captured.

His shoulders rolled into a shrug.

"I 'unno, I wasn't around during it, but maybe you're just overreacting-- she probably got transferred to the jail high up in the mountains, the more secure one. Just check that one, and then have a panic attack. . I guess."

And with that said, Yin paced off to the side-- assuming his spot against the stone wall of the fort.

[18:30] "Oh- OH! Yeah! The super secret jail we keep most of the safely non-harmed prisoners at. Have you tried checking there yet? Although, it would require level five restriction which only the Commander and Sultan have. As you can see, they're both currently busy right now, miss Midia."

The Sarradian would wink at Yin before looking the other way forward near the entrance of Deseti.

[18:31] The vampire-slayer huffed dishearteningly, sliding his pale hand out from behind the cloak and pressing it against his chest.

"My lady, please…! Maintain your composure, it was merely a guess!"

And, speaking of disheartening, Sultan Yin's response was completely underwhelming. Just what they didn't need.

Grover would then take yet another deep breath and shake his head.

"We're not sure if anything like that happened, maybe she had some goods confiscated. Maybe she fled… Or perhaps something else went unnoticed. The worst we can do right now is to panic."

He'd secretly grind his teeth. Something nasty was going on under the radar. Something unjust. How could they know?

[18:34] Xavier Grissom says, "Midia."
[18:34] Xavier Grissom says, "After you are done, Kuwei is in crafthold right now."
[18:36] Yin says, "Regarding Kuwei, I have more information on her."
[18:37] Midia would glance over toward Ihros, visibly rage in her eyes, though it didn't feel entirely to be directed at him.

She had sighted him as he passed by, but she would just speak audibly for now, taking on the advice of Grover and doing her best to contain her alarmed state.

"I'm going up top the mountain to see if Canna is there- If she's not, you'll have some answers to give me.

I'm not letting that matter slide-"

Her body tenses up, hearing of yet something else to mind about.

She almost felt a fever swelling up into her head, but she couldn't have one with her magical attunement...

Perhaps, it was just this whole situation- This whole year of hearing bad news after bad news like she was reliving the entire episodes of Ardent- The failures she couldn't prevent.

Tensing up, she throws her arms in the air and screams at the top of her lungs.

"Damn it!"

Then, surrounded by magic, Midia's presence seems to grow hazy as time around her distorts and sinks-

Flaring with magic, she accelerates herself, dashing off.
