Every day was repetitive. Expected. It had a routine, and now that he had gotten accustomed to it, it was all Fenvalur knew. He opens the shop, customers come, customers go, he closes the shop and he goes to sleep.

Sometimes he would get to know his customers like he got to know his neighbours - he had tea with them and helped them with whatever they need - but it was only to pass the time and have something different to do.

That was his wish, anyway- to see at least some excitement in his life. He felt far too old, too mature, even if he was still fairly young - he was just barely approaching his thirties now and was leaving any sight of youth he had left in him behind.
