She was born in quite wealthy family, who at first raises her very well. Usually the one who took care of her was her mother, but when she was 7 years-old her mother's schedules suddenly become more busier because of her job resulting she often spent alone in her house. The only person who always beside her is her cousin who she already thought as her own older brother. Despite she quite horrible at singing she dreams to follow her brother as an idol, as she took lessons on musical instruments and dance classes.

Her parent at first didn't agree and want her to become either a Doctor or Law College Student. She finally make a bargain with her parents if she can graduate early and become the valedictorian student, they would approve her to become a trainee. The only one who supported her is her cousin Yoseob then when she fulfilled her promise as she was 15 years-old when become one of the youngest students who graduate from senior high school.

The most difficult phase on her life happened when she just graduate as her parents add one more condition to her that she at least had to finish her college before she become an idol. Because of that she didn't had any chances to audition as she focused first on being Law College Student while she improve her specialties. As she doesn't want to become famous just because of her being Beast's Yoseob sister not because of her own talents, also her parents cut all their finance on her general necessities and only pay for her education.

Actually that's just one of her parents way to made her give up her own dream, but she is quite intelligent girl so she make her schedules like this; At morning she went to classes while she being barista in the day and practice her dances on evening and participate underground rap battles in late-nights as she hone her skills. Eventually she went to audition on Jellyfish trainee as she passed the audition. She finally become a trainee and stops working as barista due to her hectic schedules. A few months ago she had just finished her studies as Law faculty student resulting her parents to finally approve her dreams though they a bit disappointed on her to wasted her talents to become an idol.

Her idol personality on variety shows or on-camera as people known she is a hardworking, quiet, independent, cool and capable person.
She is not afraid to speak her mind and she also very optimistic as she strongly believer of 'You can do it if you work hard enough' phrase.

Although she usually very helpful and friendly but if she is bored she will pranks random people. She rarely to be seen without smiling because she don't want anyone to saw her being weak. When she is sad she runs to toilet and cries in there for hours.

She is a very fast-learner as to prove her IQ of 140. She also had a little-bit hardheaded as she sometimes doesn't listen to other opinions; these traits that make her as a stubborn person as when she want to got something she will not gave up until she get it.

She is very diligent as she is the one who shows first in practices and the last person to come home, and sometimes she practices alone when it's vacation. She is a perfectionist when it comes to practicing, she want the perfect result so she work hard and practices from day to night. She also the type of person who rush to solve the problems if she saw it. Although she know many quote as she often said to other members, she rarely be seen acting wise as she only talks wise but not acting it out.

She also knows to keeps other people secrets as if you ask for her, she would took your secrets to her grave. Yet sometimes she is forgetful person, so she makes a note where she writes all important things she needs to do later. She can get very enthusiastic about most things that catch her eye and if there is something that remotely interests her, she will instantly act upon and pursue those feelings.
