  1. This AGDQ was definitely my favorite event space yet. The quality of the event spaces seems to be on an upward trend, and I like to see that. GDQ is at the point where it is probably a legitimate nightmare finding a hotel that meets all of the diverse needs of the organization, but they continue to find spaces that I'm happy with.

  3. This event, for my enjoyment, was probably somewhere in the middle. I had some really great highlights, but not much can compare to SGDQ 2017 and playing board games with my friends all the time. I have been having a real problem with over-committing myself, between activities and couches and runs (which means practicing). For friends who might be reading this who might feel bad for asking me to do these things: this is strictly a me-problem. I need to learn to say no when I need to say no. I'm actually always honored to even be asked to do these things, which is part of my problem. I'm so touched to be thought of that I'm eager to say yes.

  5. On that same note, I was a bit down for part of the event because I kept feeling like people rarely reach out to me to do stuff. I think part of being busy all the time has made it slightly "out of sight, out of mind", and I know that nobody does it with malice, but I always struggle to eat meals because I'm never on the list to get notified that people are doing so. I either have to invite myself to things or organize them myself. Again, this is a me-problem. I can't expect people to always ping me for every little thing.

  7. Both of my runs went exactly how I wanted them to go. Sword of the Black Stone felt like it went really well, and I think, though not a good "speedrun", it was very entertaining, which is what I wanted more than anything. I've got some other bad games I want to workshop and see if I think they'd be a good fit for A2021. Super Mario World One Mind went *far and above* better than we deserved. Solid run, and extremely entertaining by all accounts. Shoutouts to dotsarecool for making changes to the hack SEVERAL times over the course of the week to help get things ready. Sorry that I forgot to download the very last version :(

  9. I'm going to get back to streaming ASAP. I've missed it. Lack and I are going to jointly watch the run back with GDQ chat and commentate it, and I'm going to do the same with SotBS, all streamed live, so if that interests you, drop by. Planning to do that tomorrow at 8pm eastern. Other stuff over the next few weeks include:
  10.
  11. - Sonic 06 (next week, after PAX South)
  12. - Finish Dual Destinies
  13. - Finish Hypnospace Outlaw (maybe, probably)
  14. - Finish Bug Fables
  15. - Occasionally more AI Dungeon 2
  16. - Some adventure games (Sierra stuff, Might and Magic, etc)
