  1. >Feeling a mysterious urge you decide to take a walk in the woods near your house.
  2. >You aren't particularly fond of hiking or even nature for that matter, but for some reason the urge to explore this specific wooded area has been in he back of your mind for a while now.
  3. >It's going to be getting dark soon so you grab a light jacket and a flashlight on your way out.
  4. >It's a tiny little thing, but it's plenty bright enough to see where you're going.
  5. >After locking up you put your keys in your pocket and check that your flashlight still has some life in it.
  6. >By turning on the light while it's pointed directly at your face.
  7. “Ow fuck, why did I think that was a good idea?”
  8. >Having successfully blinded yourself you attempt to rub the sunspots out of your eyes to no avail.
  9. >Sighing, you put the flashlight in your pocket and start walking in the direction of the woods.
  10. >After a few minutes you reach the entrance to the trail you plan on taking.
  11. >Something moves in a bush near you causing you to jump.
  12. “Fucking raccoon.”
  13. >Calming your nerves you exhale and set off down the trail.
  14. >Much quicker than you expected you find darkness is upon you.
  15. >There is more rustling from bushes near you and you feel a chill creeping up your spine.
  16. >You pass these woods on a regular basis on your way home and they've never bothered you before so why are you so jumpy now?
  17. >You hope you aren't being stalked by some cannibal hobo or something.
  18. >The last thing you want right now is to be murderstabbed and eaten by some crazy guy in the woods.
  19. >Pulling the flashlight out of your pocket you shine it on the bush causing whatever was hiding in it to scramble off into the darkness.
  20. >Not before you catch sight of a black shape roughly the size of a large dog.
  21. “Just great, it's probably Slenderman or some shit.”
  22. >Walking a little while longer you come to a large tree that looked like it was struck by lightning.
  23. >You hear a branch snap nearby.
  24. >Nope.Avi
  25. >You decide you've had enough adventure for one night and start walking back the way you came.
  26. >Moments later you find yourself standing in front of the tree again.
  27. >You've only been walking in a straight line so how did you get turned around?
  28. >Turning around you set off again only to find yourself in front of the tree yet again.
  29. “Okay, what the fuck is going on?”
  30. >From all around you sounds of movement can be heard.
  31. >Panicking, you break into a run in the one direction that you didn't hear any noise from.
  32. >Every so often you would hear noise coming from either side of you.
  33. >Whatever is following you seems to be herding you to a specific location.
  34. >Your breath coming in ragged gasps, you leap over a fallen tree and find yourself standing in front of the very same tree yet again.
  35. >From behind the tree steps out a large black shape with glowing green eyes.
  36. >You shine the flashlight in it's face and momentarily blind the creature before attempting to flee.
  37. >Your escape is swiftly brought to a end when several small insect-horse things pile on you and knock you to the ground.
  38. >Unable to move, you use the one weapon you have remaining in your arsenal.
  39. >You spit at the creature and begin to curse.
  40. “Fuck you ya ugly horse looking shitbag!”
  41. >The creature takes a step back, seemingly taken aback.
  42. >”Whorse?!”
  43. >It spoke?
  44. >”You dare to call me a whorse?”
  45. >The thing can speak.
  46. >”I will have you know I am no whorse!”
  47. >This isn't right.
  48. >”I am the quee-”
  49. >Your brain glitches and you start shrieking.
  50. >The creature takes a hesitant step back, unsure of what you're doing.
  51. >Pulling your arm free of the pile you throw the flashlight as hard as you can at the creature's head.
  52. >It connects with a solid THWACK
  53. >The creature reels back having been caught off guard by your sudden attack.
  54. >Fight or flight has kicked in at full power.
  55. >Flinging the creatures off of you, you take off in a dead run into the forest.
  56. >Anywhere is better than that insanity.
  57. >You hear a snarl behind you and the creatures give chase.
  58. >One of the creatures jumps and latches onto your back.
  59. >Ripping it off, you hurl it into a nearby tree.
  60. >It impacts with a loud crack and lays motionless.
  61. >Ahead of you is what appears to be daylight.
  62. >Wasn't it just dark a little while ago?
  63. >From behind you hear an angry scream.
  64. >You guess it fond the little one you threw.
  65. >Run now, think later.
  66. >You break through the tree line and find yourself standing at the top of a hill overlooking some kind of small town.
  67. >Not pausing to look back, you run down the hill toward the town.
  68. >Whoever lives there has to be able to help you.
  69. >Right?
  70.
  71. >Having reached the edge of the town your body gives out and you collapse onto the ground.
  72. >Forcing yourself to roll over, you look behind you.
  73. >The creatures are nowhere to be seen.
  74. >Maybe they won't leave the forest or something?
  75. >You hear a girly shriek and look back towards the town.
  76. >The area is filed with tiny pastel colored ponies and one of them seems to have fainted.
  77. “You have got to be fucking kidding me.”
  78. >Several of the ponies gasp and others cover their ears.
  79. >A pony in a blue police uniform blows into a whistle and rushes over to you.
  80. >”Cursing is a crime punishable by two days in prison. What do you have to say for yourself?”
  81. >You look up at the tiny officer pony and laugh.
  82. “I've finally gone and lost my shit huh?”
  83. >”Repeated swearing, four days in prison!”
  84. “I'm too tired for this crap right now, piss off will ya.”
  85. >”Six days!”
  86. >You wave your arm at the pony in a shoo-shoo motion.
  87. >”It's attacking! Everypony take shelter!”
  88. >It?
  89. >The pony frantically blows into the whistle before pulling a foam club looking thing from it's belt.
  90. >That's cute, it looks almost like a Nerf bat.
  91. >Wait, is he going to?
  92. >Bonk.
  93. “Hey, quit it.”
  94. >Bonk bonk bonk.
  95. >It doesn't hurt, it's just really annoying.
  96. >Pulling yourself onto a knee you glare at the pony.
  97. >Bonk bonk.
  98. “Gimmie that you little shit.”
  99. >You yank the baton out of the pony's mouth and smack him on the rump several times.
  100. >The pony gasps and falls over.
  101. >Several more police ponies show up start shouting about an officer down.
  102. >One of the ponies somehow shoots a bright red light into the sky and a few moments later a group of ponies in tiny armor swarm you.
  103. >Standing up, you raise your arms into the air.
  104. “Alright, alright, I'll come along quietly.”
  105. >Minutes later you're ushered into some kind of throne room and find yourself standing before two more pony-horse-things.
  106. >One has a sun on their butt and the other has a moon.
  107. “Heh... moonbutt.”
  108. >You hear some words and focus back onto your surroundings.
  109. >”For foul language, assaulting an officer, and resisting arrest I hereby sentence you to five months in Ponystone prison!"
  110. ”Well shit”
  111. >”Six months!”
  112.
  113. >Be Luna, the glorious princess of the night.
  114. >You are currently standing in the throne room with your sister.
  115. >Day court has ended and the two of you are discussing the strange creature that was brought in.
  116. >”What do you think it was?”
  117. “Perhaps it was a relative of the minotaur species or a new creature entirely?”
  118. >Celestia paces for a few moments in thought before turning back to you.
  119. >”If there is a new species of creature popping up in Equestria we will have to observe it carefully to determine if it is a danger to our ponies.”
  120. >You think back to the creature.
  121. >It didn't look too different from a minotaur really.
  122. >It was just minus any visible form of horn or hoof.
  123. >You wonder what kinds of things they do and what kind of culture they could have.
  124. >”Sister”
  125. >Could it be like a dragon?
  126. >Do they lay eggs like dragons?
  127. >No, you didn't see any scales.
  128. >Couldn't be a dragon.
  129. >Could it?
  130. >”Sister”
  131. >Was it from a warlike people?
  132. >It didn't seem particularly aggressive or violent while it was before you.
  133. >But it was defiant in face of your sister's judgment.
  134. >Maybe you could challenge it to a duel to test it's might in combat.
  135. >”Luna?”
  136. >”Are you there?”
  137. >It's been ages since you fought a worthy opponent.
  138. >But what if it beats you and tries to c-claim you as it's own?
  139. >A blush slowly creeps across your face.
  140. “Oh my...”
  141. >A hoof waving in front of your face snaps you out of your thoughts.
  142. “Huh?”
  143. >Celestia is staring at you with one of her eyebrows raised.
  144. >”What were you thinking just now?”
  145. “We... we weren't thinking anything unusual, what are you talking about?”
  146. >Celestia gives you a deadpan stare.
  147. >”We have already spoken about this, things are different from how they were back then.”
  148. >You take a sheepish step back from your sister's judging gaze.
  149. >”Your... tastes aside, I think it is best if you enter this creature's dream as it slumbers so we can see what kind of dangers it could present.”
  150. >That would give you the perfect chance to observe the creature.
  151. >”Sister?”
  152. “Yes?”
  153. >”Do try to behave yourself.”
  154.
  155. >Be Anon
  156. >Your pony escort doesn't seem to be the most talkative.
  157. >Each question you ask is met with silence.
  158. >You are led through a series of hallways until you leave the castle.
  159. >Each time you tried to stop to look a painting or tapestry you are prodded forward again by several spears poking into your side.
  160. >Before you is a rickety looking wooden cart.
  161. >There are already several ponies loaded onto it, most looking depressed.
  162. >A pony in a gray uniform hops off the front of the cart and trots over to you.
  163. >”Hello inmate, it seems you've caused quite a stir today.”
  164. >Someone is actually talking to you?
  165. >That's a surprise.
  166. >The pony comes up to slightly above your waist, so you guess he's pretty big for a pony.
  167. >He introduces himself as officer Mac Light.
  168. >He has a off-brown coat and a salt & pepper mane.
  169. >He looks like he's getting up there in years, but his gaze is sharp and focused.
  170. >There's a picture of a lantern on his butt.
  171. >What is it with these ponies and butt tattoos?
  172. >”So who and what exactly are you?”
  173. >You look down at him and shrug.
  174. “My name is Anonymous and I'm a human I guess.”
  175. >”You guess?”
  176. “Pretty much.”
  177. >”Are you or aren't you?”
  178. >Someone has a carrot in his butt.
  179. “I am.”
  180. >”Well then Anonymous the hyooman, do you know where we're going?”
  181. >You look at the cart and then back to the pony.
  182. “Judging by the cart, the prisoners, and the fact I'm at a castle I'd say we're going to Helgen.”
  183. >You rub your chin for a moment before continuing.
  184. “Although this time I hope there are no dragons.”
  185. >The pony narrows his eyes at you.
  186. >”Do you have something against dragons Anonymous?”
  187. “Not a big fan of getting set on fire and whatnot”
  188. >”My friend is a dragon I'll have you know.”
  189. “Wait, what?”
  190. >”Just keep in mind that at Ponystone we don't take kindly to that kind of thing.”
  191. >Dragons are real here?
  192. >”If you're looking to start trouble we'll have to take away your pudding cup privileges.
  193. >Wut?
  194. “That isn't gonna bother me too much really.”
  195. >”So you're a tough guy huh?”
  196. “Not particularly no, I just don't like sweet things too much.”
  197. >”Get on the cart inmate, we're gonna see just how tough you really are soon enough.”
  198. >A cartoon pony is trying to intimidate you.
  199. >Hoo boy.
  200.
  201. >Resigning yourself to your bizarre fate you shrug your shoulders and hop up onto the back of the cart with the other ponies.
  202. >There is a collective gasp from the assembled ponies and a few of them huddle at the other end of the cart trying to stay as far from you as possible.
  203. >Ouch.
  204. >You didn't think you were that scary looking.
  205. >Officer Mac Lite pulls himself onto the front of the cart and shouts at the huddled ponies, telling them to return to their seats.
  206. >Reluctantly they slowly make their way back to their previous seats.
  207. >Once the ponies settle down officer Mac says something to the other guards and three of the larger ones start pulling the cart while the others walk alongside it.
  208. >You guess this is pony land's version of a prison convoy.
  209. >Having nothing else to do, you decide to get a closer look at the other prisoners on the cart.
  210. >There is a light blue pony with fluffy white wings sitting across from you.
  211. >The little wings make it look like a little pony angel.
  212. >This particular angel is staring at you with wide-eyed fascination.
  213. >You lock eyes with it for a moment and smile.
  214. >The pony blushes and looks away.
  215. >Ponies can blush?
  216. >Weird, but whatever.
  217. >Looking to the other prisoners you see ponies and unicorns of varying shades of blue, tan, brown, and green.
  218. >None of them stand out to you too much except for the two seated at the other end of the cart.
  219. >They're smaller than the other ponies, one green and one brown.
  220. >The two of them silently looked at each other for a moment before turning in sync and staring at you.
  221. >Sure, the other ponies will sneak a glance at you from time to time but quickly look away when they see you notice.
  222. >These two are just blankly staring at you.
  223. >You aren't sure if they've even blinked the entire time.
  224. >It's creeping you out.
  225. >You stare at them while they stare at you.
  226. >This goes on for a minute or so before they blink in unison causing you to jerk your head away.
  227. >Nope nope nope.
  228. >That shit is too creepy.
  229. >You look back over to the blue pony and find it staring at you wide eyed again.
  230. “Hi there”
  231. >The pony's eyes seem to widen even more once you spoke to it.
  232. “Right then, you got a name little pony?”
  233. >It squeaks in response.
  234. “Your name is squeak?”
  235. >It flails it's hooves while shaking it's head frantically.
  236. >”No no no no no.”
  237. “No?”
  238. >”My name is Emma Shine.”
  239. >So this one is a girl pony.
  240. >Looking over the other ponies again you start noticing details you overlooked before.
  241. >Like the way they have their manes, the softer features, or the longer eyelashes.
  242. >There's an oddly high number of girl ponies on this cart.
  243. >Huh.
  244. >You look back over to Emma.
  245. “Well Ms. Shine, my name is Anonymous but you can call me Anon for short.”
  246. >”In that case please call me Emma instead.”
  247. >You nod your head in acknowledgment, but as you go to say something Emma interrupts you.
  248. >“What are you anyway?”
  249. >No beating around the bush for you eh?
  250. “As I told officer carrot-up-his-butt up there, I'm a human.”
  251. >Emma snickers at your name for the guard.
  252. >”What's a human doing all he way out here in Canterlot?”
  253. “This place is called Canterlot?”
  254. >”Yup.”
  255. >You shake your head before continuing.
  256. >Horse puns, ugh.
  257. “Well from the look of things I'd say I'm going to pony prison.
  258. >Emma cocks her head to the side in confusion.
  259. >That looks adorable when she does it.
  260. >”Prison is a scary place, how come you're taking it so well?”
  261. >You think for a moment and shrug your shoulders.
  262. “I guess I'm taking it as well as I am because none of this is real.”
  263. >”It's not?”
  264. “Nope.”
  265. >”I feel pretty real.”
  266. >Emma makes a show of kicking her hooves and fluttering her eyelashes at you.
  267. “Nah, I hit my head on a tree earlier and this is all a figment of my imagination.”
  268. >There is a sudden outburst of sobbing and yelling to your right.
  269. >One of the ponies has fallen off of his seat and is wailing into the floor about how their entire lives are a lie.
  270. >Guess he was listening in on your chat with Emma.
  271. >Serves you right Mr. pony man.
  272. >Emma laughs at your response.
  273. >This pony seems to find you pretty funny.
  274. >Neat.
  275.
  276. >Be Emma Shine, Anon's newest friend and admirer.
  277. >You're sitting in your seat across from the hyooman.
  278. >He's so nice and funny.
  279. >You bet he's real tough too.
  280. >He made that pony cry without even looking at him.
  281. >He's gotta be the real deal, not like all those other ponies who claimed they were tough.
  282. >Sure they acted big at first, but after one night with you they were crying for their mommies.
  283. >Pfft, colts.
  284. >You need a real stallion.
  285. >Like Anon.
  286.
  287. >Be Anon again.
  288. >Emma seems to have drifted off to wherever it is ponies think, so you decide to look around again.
  289. >The castle has left your sight and the cart is slowly making its way through a forest of some sort.
  290. >The crying pony has finally calmed down and returned to his seat.
  291. >You look back to the other end of the cart and not only are the two still staring at you, but a third pony is following suit.
  292. >Right, looking away now.
  293. “Hey Emma?”
  294. >Emma looks up at you and smiles.
  295. >The smile seems slightly too wide.
  296. >It's a bit off-putting.
  297. “Uh... any idea how long until we get there?”
  298. >”I'm not entirely sure, I don't go to prison that often.”
  299. >That often?
  300. >You lean forward and stare directly in Emma's eyes.
  301.
  302. >Be Emma
  303. >Anon is leaning towards you like he wants to say something important.
  304. >What is it?
  305. >Could he have figured out your secret already?
  306. >Oh no, did you let too much slip?
  307. >Is he going to hate you now?
  308. >You feel a sudden warmth flood your face as Anon boops your nose.
  309. >You gasp.
  310. >”Silly pony.”
  311. >You quickly look around and several other prisoners are staring in open mouthed shock.
  312. >How lewd.
  313. >If that's how Anon wants to do things you'll happily oblige.
  314.
  315. >Be Anon again.
  316. >Emma has just hopped off her seat and has wedged herself directly into your side.
  317. >One of her wings rests across your lower back and she hums happily to herself.
  318. >This is going to be a long ride.
  319.
  320. >Much to your surprise the ride was fairly pleasant.
  321. >Most of the ponies were happily chatting away, and the three that were staring at you seemed to have dozed off.
  322. >If you didn't know you were heading to prison you would have thought this was some kind of field trip.
  323. >Emma had fallen asleep while nesting in you side so you had time to admire the scenery.
  324. >The forest looked pretty peaceful and you think you may have seen a deer or two hopping about.
  325. >The air was clean and had the smell of fresh pine.
  326. >Not that bathroom cleaner pine smell, but *real* pine.
  327. >You even saw a few flocks of birds flitting around.
  328. >The only time you really saw birds was when they were picking at trash or sitting on top of a building.
  329. >It'll be a shame when you wake up though, you were kind of enjoying this place.
  330. >Minus the angry talking ponies that is.
  331. >You hear the officer tell you all that the prison will be coming into view momentarily so you gently nudge Emma awake.
  332. >She awakes with a snort and wipes some drool from her mouth.
  333. >She was drooling on you?
  334. >Oh eww.
  335. “Hey sleepy head, did you enjoy your nap?”
  336. >She looks around in confusion for a moment before looking up at you.
  337. >She looks back down to the wet spot on your jacket and then back up to you.
  338. >Her eyes shrink to pinpricks as the realization sets in.
  339. >This dream has some weird physics.
  340. >”Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to drool on you!”
  341. >She frantically starts rubbing at the spot but only succeeds in spreading the drool.
  342. >She plops down next to you again and begins to sniffle.
  343. >Hey brain?
  344. >Yes anon?
  345. >Is small angel pony about to cry?
  346. >Looks that way.
  347. >You look over to Emma and she has her head burred in her hooves and is crying softly.
  348. >The other ponies around are pretending not to notice.
  349. >Ouch, right in the feels.
  350. >You quickly pull her into your chest and start stroking her back.
  351. “Shhh, its okay.
  352. >One of her wings twitches slightly.
  353. “A little drool wont make any difference once it dries, it's an old jacket anyway.”
  354. >Emma shifts slightly in your arms, looking up at you.
  355. >Her face is looking kinda red.
  356. >Must be from the crying.
  357. >”Y-you sure?”
  358. >You nod while continuing to stroke her back.
  359. >Despite the increasingly frequent twitches from her wings, back rubs seem to have a calming effect.
  360. >”It was a lot of drool though.”
  361. “Don't worry about it, it's not a big deal.”
  362. >Satisfied that she isn't crying anymore, you place her back on the seat next to you.
  363. >Her face falls slightly when you let go but you get a mischievous idea.
  364. >You place your hand atop her head and start to gently rub her ears.
  365. >You hear a gasp and look around at the ponies near you.
  366. >One of them is covering her mouth and a few are doing their best to look anywhere but at you.
  367. >Another is staring at you red faced, her eyes the size of saucers.
  368. >Okaaay.
  369. >These ponies are weird.
  370. “What's with everyone staring?”
  371. “They're acting like they've seen something dirty.”
  372. >Emma squeaks in response and a wing snaps up into your face.
  373. >Well okay then.
  374.
  375. >Be Emma shine, the most flustered pony around for miles.
  376. >This... this was not going anything like you planned.
  377. >First you fell asleep on Anon.
  378. >Then you started drooling on him!
  379. >Ugh.
  380. >You were so embarrassed, but he played it off like it was no big deal!
  381. >Of course it was a big deal, you *Drooled* on him.
  382. >When you started crying he started cuddling you of all things.
  383. >In front of everypony else no less.
  384. >You aren't a lewd pony you swear.
  385. >And when he started rubbing your ears... sweet Celestia it took everything you had to stop from just melting right there.
  386. >The most embarrassing part was when he called your name while rubbing your ears.
  387. >When he siad your name you couldn't keep your wings under control anymore and accidentally smacked him right in the face.
  388. >Ooooh this stallion!
  389. >The things hes doing to you are making your mind wander.
  390. >You're not a lewd pony.
  391. >You're not a lewd pony.
  392. >Anon's breath tickles your wing causing you to shudder.
  393. >You're such a dirty pony.
  394.
  395. >Be Anon again.
  396. >Despite the surprise of wing-in-face this is kinda fun.
  397. >You're gently blowing on or rubbing parts of Emma's wing and she keeps squirming.
  398. >This mare has to be extremely ticklish.
  399. >You look over to her again and she's mumbling something to herself over and over again while hiding her face in her other wing.
  400. >”I'm a dirty pony, I'm a dirty pony, I'm a dirty pony.”
  401. >Dirty pony?
  402. >You guess the drool thing really bothered her.
  403. >Gently pushing her wing away, you ruffle mane and snicker.
  404. “Hey don't worry about it, we'll have plenty of time to see how dirty you are later.”
  405. >The ponies in the cart with you suddenly fall silent.
  406. >You look around and all of the stallions are covering their ears and the mares are staring at you with flushed faces.
  407. “What'd I say?”
  408. >Emma just lets out another squeak and you make out faint traces of steam raising from her head.
  409. >Man ponies are weird.
  410.
  411. >The cart jerks to a stop in front of a large wooden gate at the end of the forest trail.
  412. >This thing has got to be at least twelve feet tall.
  413. >You look to either side but the trees are too dense for you to make out whats behind the gate.
  414. >What are they keeping in here?
  415. >Dragons?
  416. >Dinosaurs?
  417. >The guards begin to unhook themselves from the cart while officer Mac hops down and pulls a necklace out of his shirt.
  418. >At the end of the necklace is a stone about the size of your fist.
  419. >He taps the stone on the gate and it slowly grinds inward allowing you to see what lies within.
  420. >Behind the gate is trail lined in rope leading to the darkened mouth of a cave.
  421. >The prison is probably some sort of underground dungeon.
  422. >It would make sense you suppose.
  423. >Prisoners won't try to fight as much if their spirits are broken.
  424. >Slowly the other inmates begin to exit the cart and form a line at the gate.
  425. >Emma grabs your sleeve and starts pulling you along.
  426. >"Come ooon, she gets grumpy when ponies are late."
  427. >Allowing yourself to be pulled along, you follow her into the line with the rest of the ponies.
  428. >A few of them are looking really nervous.
  429. >Oh you're hoping this isn't one of *those* kinds of prisons.
  430. >With the crotch biters and ugly jumpsuits.
  431. >Officer Mac blows into his whistle causing everyone to look forward.
  432. >”Alright inmates listen up, for those of you who are new here my name is officer Mac Lite.”
  433. >The other inmates sound off in unison.
  434. >”Good morning officer Mac Lite.”
  435. >He begins to pace along the line of inmates before stopping and attempting to stare you down.
  436. >”You are all here today because you have wronged this great nation of Equestria some way and need to be rehabilitated.”
  437. >Oh god, is this some sort of pony boot camp?
  438. >The mental image of ponies with shaved heads attempting to run through tires and climb over walls makes you chuckle.
  439. >He stands on his rear legs and presses his hooves into your stomach.
  440. >”Is there something funny you'd like to share with the rest of us?”
  441. >He's trying his best to act tough, but you can't be intimidated by a pony who comes up to your torso at best.
  442. >It's just too cute.
  443. “No sir, nothing funny here sir.”
  444. >”That's what I thought.”
  445. >He flares his nostrils and then resumes his pacing.
  446. >”Through this cave is Ponystone Maximum Security Prison where you and I will all be getting to know each other quite well.”
  447. >Emma puts a hoof on your leg and whispers to you.
  448. >”Don't worry, if you get scared I'll be here with you.”
  449. >Awww.
  450. >Cute little pone is trying to comfort you.
  451. >You scritch her ears in response eliciting a small shudder from her.
  452. >This is more fun than it has any right to be.
  453. >The guards have formed lines on either side of the inmates and stand silently.
  454. >Officer Mac blows into his whistle again and everyone starts walking into the darkness.
  455. >A few minutes of silent walking later you emerge from the cave into the daylight.
  456. >A squat stone building with a large fence is nestled among the trees before you.
  457. >You could see why this place would be imposing to ponies half your size, but you could probably climb the fence with minimal effort if you wanted to.
  458. >One of the guards unlocks the fence and allows everyone through, locking it again once everyone has passed.
  459. >Standing before a set of wooden green doors you take a deep breath.
  460. “Here we go.”
  461. >Everyone slowly mills into the building and you find yourselves standing in a brightly painted room.
  462. >On the side of the room is a large wooden bench.
  463. >Sitting on that bench is a yellow pony with a red mane.
  464. >Said pony is wearing a tiny green cap and has her mane pulled back into a ponytail.
  465. >Where will the adorableness end?
  466. >There are colorful paintings all over the wall and there is even a rainbow painted on the ceiling.
  467. >It's like you stepped into a middle school classroom.
  468. >Weird.
  469. >The yellow pony hops off the bench and walks over to the group.
  470. >”Good morning everypony, I hope you're all feeling well today.”
  471. >There is a chorus of good mornings from the group.
  472. >”My name is Sugar Lumps but you can just call me warden.”
  473. >So she's the pony in charge here.
  474. >”Alright everypony, starting at my left I want you all to tell me why you're here.”
  475. >You hear a variety of silly things things like littering, foul language, and pillow fighting.
  476. >She reaches Emma and the two stare each other down.
  477. >”Ms. Shine.”
  478. >”Warden.”
  479. >Moving on she stops in front of you.
  480. >You stare at each other for a moment and she wilts slightly.
  481. >”Who are you?”
  482. “Hiya Warden, I'm Anonymous the human.”
  483. >”Hyooman?”
  484. “Yes ma'am, the one, and presumably only human here in Equestria.”
  485. >”Wow, I've never met a hyooman before.”
  486. >You do your best impression of a performer and bow.
  487. >This elicits a small giggle from the warden.
  488. “You'll have lots of time to get to know me, I'm gonna be here for six months after all.”
  489. >The warden's eyes almost bulge out of her head.
  490. >”What could you have possibly done to earn that kind of punishment!?”
  491. >You hold up a hand and tick off a finger as you go.
  492. “Foul language, foul language in front of the princess, resisting arrest, and supposedly assaulting an officer.”
  493. >The warden does a doubletake and all of the other inmates quickly move away from you.
  494. >Ouch.
  495. >You feel a pressure on your leg.
  496. >Emma is still standing next to you.
  497. >Emma is now officially best pone.
  498. >you can see a nervous sweat form as the warden tries to keep a brave face.
  499. >”Well t-that is certainly an impressive list Mr. Anonymous.”
  500. “It was basically one misunderstanding after another, I'm really not a bad guy once you get to know me.”
  501. >That seems to calm the warden down enough for her to regain her composure.
  502. >”Everypony please walk through the double doors to the right and the guards will show you to your rooms.”
  503. >Is that what they're calling the prison cells?
  504. >You go to follow the rest of the now intimidated inmates but are stopped by the warden.
  505. >Emma looks back at you and you just shrug your shoulders.
  506. >”Mr. Anonymous, please come with me and I'll give you a tour of the facility.”
  507. “A tour?”
  508. >”Why yes, it's your first time here so it wouldn't be very nice of us to let you wander around confused.”
  509. “That's different.”
  510. >”How so?”
  511. “Prisons back where I'm from just move you from room to room with a hundred other people and call it a day.”
  512. >”That doesn't sound very fun at all.”
  513. “Well, it's a prison, they aren't exactly fun.”
  514. >”Then how do the prisoners get reformed?”
  515. “They usually don't.”
  516. >”Huh?”
  517. “Where I'm from when people are sent to prison it can range from a few years to the rest of their lives.”
  518. >The warden lets out a horrified gasp.
  519. >”That's just horrible!”
  520. “It is what it is I suppose, now about that tour?”
  521. >The warden shakes her head and breathes in and out a few times.
  522. >”R-right, this way please.”
  523. >The tour goes fairly well considering the rocky start.
  524. >The two of you make some small talk as you go from location to location.
  525. >You even managed to make the warden laugh a few times.
  526. >You pass several club rooms, a gym, a library, a swimming pool, the cafeteria, and what looks like some sort of indoor garden.
  527. >This place seems more like a pony resort than a pony prison.
  528. >Spending six months here is gonna be awesome.
  529. >The warden stops at a set of yellow doors and motions for you to follow.
  530. >”This way, lets go look at the waterfall.”
  531. “You have a waterfall here?”
  532. >”Absolutely.”
  533. “Awesome!”
  534. >”You know Mr. Anonymous, for someone did all that stuff you seem really nice.”
  535. “Please warden, call me Anon.”
  536. >”Very well... Anon, I'll try to remember that from now on.”
  537. >The two of you walk through the doors and find yourselves on a nice little brick path that leads you through a garden and then the waterfall.
  538. >At the base of the waterfall is a small lake.
  539. “Woah, this place looks beautiful.”
  540. >”It's my favorite place to come and read when I have some free time.”
  541. “I can see why.”
  542. >You look over and see a giant smile on the warden's face.
  543. “Do you think I could come out here some time and join you?”
  544. >The warden pulls her hat down to her nose, her cheeks rapidly reddening.
  545. >”I-I think I can arrange that if you'd li-”
  546. >Before she can finish, the warden is interrupted by a series of hoots and whistles from nearby.
  547. >You look over and see a minotaur standing with two ponies.
  548. >Woah, a minotaur?
  549. >”Hey lumpy, is that your new pet?”
  550. >The warden tries to stammer out a response but she's drowned out by a chorus of laughter from the two ponies.
  551. >They pull out some straws and take aim.
  552. >Seriously?
  553. >The three start shooting spitballs at the warden and she dives to the ground trying to hid her face under he hat.
  554. >You hear a quiet sob come from under her hat and your your hands clench into fists.
  555. >You look around and find a chunk of rock that looks like it'll do just fine.
  556. >While the three are laughing and congratulating each other you pull your arm back and let fly.
  557. >The rock sails true, striking the minotaur directly in the face causing him to howl in pain and clutch his face.
  558. “Keep laughing asshole, I've got plenty more where that came from!”
