Ambush

TheJokur: (how does he look?)
Heockius: -Penance was looking out over the park while crouched on the short wall facing the lake. Occasionally she tapped the controls of her google glass as she monitored a the video feed of a drone that drifted over head-
Heockius: (I love it)
TheJokur: (>:3)
TheJokur: (I was considering having him wear a mask)
TheJokur: (so the reveal will be greater later on)
Heockius: (That would be neat)
TheJokur: -he is watching her in the distance...she is unaware
TheJokur: -it happens fast and she barely has time to think before it happens
TheJokur: -a small item lands beside her, rolling closer....then it explodes!
Heockius: -Penance starts to spring away and covers her face with her arms. The blast throws her, but thankfully her suit repels most of the shrapnel and force. But as she tumbles across the ground she could feel pain everywhere.- GAH!
TheJokur: -she does not have any time to recover as he is upon her like a chaotic force
TheJokur: -he kicks her hard in the stomach as she struggles to get up!
Heockius: -Penance grunts and rolls away. Part of her roll she brings herself up to one knee and looks up to see who the attacker is.-
TheJokur: -penance is confused and extremely dased but suddenly something is put in her hand
TheJokur: here, take this! -he backs away quicly watching her as she is now holding a grenade in her hand!
Heockius: -With the adenaline coursing through her, she recognized what was put in her hand and hurled it into the lack of the park. She snapped her arm back up and tried to fire a dart towards her assailant-
TheJokur: ha ha!
TheJokur: -he is like a lightening, jumping and running around, now he is nowhere to be seen...
TheJokur: -but before she can recover her senses he is holding a log and beats her hard in the back without mercy!
Heockius: -Penance was anticipating the attack from behind. She leaned with the first swing and rolled forward and flipped to her feet so she could face him. She snapped her baton out and watched him now. She had to find some opening...-
TheJokur: -he attacks her right knee, kicking it
Heockius: -Penance swept her free hand down to block the kick and snapped her baton down on his thigh in the same motion-
TheJokur: -the figure with the gas mask flinches in pain, but is quick to punch her hard in the neck!
Heockius: -Penance tried to sway away. Her injuries so far only caused her to instead take the punch in her shoulder. She stumbled away panting.- "Who are you?"
TheJokur: -hissing sounds like laughter are head behind the mask
TheJokur: -he is upon her immediately, throwing her to the ground with pure force and pinning her down
Heockius: -Penance winces and tries to struggle away. She seemed to give up after a moment and hissed in a pained voice.- "Who are you?"
TheJokur: -he looms over her and grabs a knife in his hand, using his knees to hold her arms...
TheJokur: -he then reaches for his mask, pulling it off...
TheJokur: -he pulls his mask off....revealing a familiar looking face
Rhyaad: ~ Nathan Russel arrives and starts looking for his friend Sophie ~
TheJokur: hey there Sophie -he grins, face looking just like jokurs, but with different makeup and fresh scars
Heockius: -Beneath her mask, Penance's eyes widen.- It can't be...
TheJokur: oh yes! -laughs now very amused
Heockius: Why?...
Rhyaad: "Sophie? Where are you?", Nathan calls out....
TheJokur: I am very happy with you, you know..
TheJokur: first I turned his friends against him, then I will kill his friends and he will only realize it when it is too late....while he is stuck in that place...
Rhyaad: ~ Nathan does not get and answer, and starts looking for Sophie ~
TheJokur: that asylum -he leans closer and licks her face now
Heockius: And what is your name?...
TheJokur: I have been watching you for some time, Sophie! -he yanks her mask off now
Heockius: -The domino mask comes off easily but the other part stays as it is tied behind her head- What is your name?
Rhyaad: "Sophie?", Nathan calls as he wanders the park
TheJokur: did he cry? when Jack betrayed him like that?
TheJokur: hahaha!
TheJokur: I wish I had been there...up close I mean
Rhyaad: nathan spots people in the distance....
TheJokur: (NAte can save her..)
Heockius: -Penance lets out a sudden, sharp whistle. A large thing flaps its ways from the trees and swoops on the clone. It was the Barn Owl Solomon. He raked claws at the clone's arm before flying off-
TheJokur: ah! -he beats at the air startled!
TheJokur: -he falls off her..
Rhyaad: Nathan gasps and comes running up....
TheJokur: -he grabs his knife erratically, going in for the kill now!
TheJokur: die!
Rhyaad: "NO! NO!" Nathan screams!
Heockius: -Penance flips to her feet and keeps flipping backwards to keep ahead of his assault-
TheJokur: -he slashes, intent on killing!
Rhyaad: Nathan draws his dagger and charges at the strange man....
TheJokur: -he does a kick, still taken aback
Heockius: -Penance stops now that the clone is distracted and snaps her baton out to strike his knife hand-
TheJokur: -he gets struck and then before she knows it he has fleed the scene, running off
Rhyaad: "Soph! Are you allright? Who was that creep?" Nathan goes to help her....
VladimirDeSalvos: -Vkad was out fro a stroll around the park, enjoying the night air-
Rhyaad: He was trying to kill you!
Heockius: He looked... Like... -Penance collapsed. Nathan would see shrapnel imbedded in her suit and even some of them would have hints of blood around them-
VladimirDeSalvos: -Vlad looked towards the noise, smelling blood-
Rhyaad: Soph! You're bleeding! Change into your regular clothes and we'll take you to the hospital.
VladimirDeSalvos: Hello? Is somebody hurt? -Vlad had made his way towards the noise, calling out to see if someone had gotten hurt, expecting a fallen jogger or cyclist-
Heockius: -Penance picks herself up weakly as the Adrenaline starts to wear off.- Need... To tell... Doc...
Rhyaad: "It's .... um..." Nathan whispers to her... "Does de'Salvos know about... you know.... your dual identity?"
Heockius: Huh?... -Penance struggles to her feet-
VladimirDeSalvos: I helped supply her equipment -Vlad was suddenly next to him, pulling a small medkit from his jacket- she needs help, i will do what i can to stabilize her, but she needs proper medication
Rhyaad: Oh, good. Yeah, she's got something embedded in her. And she's bleeding. She needs help...
Heockius: G-grenade... Suit protected me and it wasn't that close... -Penance muttered as she forced herself to take a step along the path. Her domino mask was on the ground by where Nathan had initially seen her.-
VladimirDeSalvos: -Vlad was taking out some localized painkillers, and antibiotics, the best he had since he wasnt planning on treating major trama-
Rhyaad: God!! A grenade? Mr DeSalvos, we've got to put her in her regular clothes and get her to a hospital.
VladimirDeSalvos: If we take that suit off, we could end up hurting her worse, we dont know anything about her wounds so it would be best to transport her as is
Heockius: I have to tell Doc... -Penance mutters single mindedly.-
VladimirDeSalvos: We need to get you to a doctor first
Rhyaad: Take her to Doctor Artemis... we don't want people to know that Sophie is Penance.
VladimirDeSalvos: ....you're right. Help me get her to the car
Rhyaad: Nathan nods and helps carry her....
Heockius: -Penance seems dazed. Her wounds are not bleeding to much but she seems shakey and slightly off center. Some touches would cause her to wince or even recoil. She clearly had bruises under the suit.-
Rhyaad: "Soph... it's ok... you've made it through lots of tough times.. you'll be ok..." Nathan tries to be encouraging, but Vlad can detect the little tremor of fear in his voice.
VladimirDeSalvos: Just keep it together man -they reached his car and he opened the back seat-
