  1. VERY DETAILED LIST:
  2. History of past symptoms(the red ones i still have):
  3. In my childhood i was very often sick, and some of the present symptoms started very early:
  4. - urinary tract infection at birth
  5. - frequent bronchitis and otitis from birth until 10 years old.
  6. - Pneumonia at 5 years old.
  7. - I start complaining about fatigue at 8 years old.
  8. - At 10 years old i start getting diarrhea with intestine and sometimes abdominal pain every morning, but only if i was woken up.
  9. - Toxoplasmosis at 11 years old
  10. - cognitive/memory problems start appearing at 13 years old, but they become noticeable and significant at 15 years old, 7 years ago.
  11. - very often sick until 3 years ago, with yellow, brownish and grey Sputum(from nose, mouth and in my eyes, couldn't open them when i woke up they were sealed shut) and high temperature(but not always), treated with cortisone every time. Tested positive for Respiratory Syncytial Virus, influenza A and B.
  12. The last severe episode of this happened when i was 17 years old(last non severe episode 18 years old); sick for 4-5 months in a row with brown and grey nasty Sputum , hospitalized 3 times during this period.
  13. First hospital(Varzi), "nothing's wrong"
  14. Second hospital(Pavia) diagnosed with pneumonia and mononucleosis.
  15. Third hospital (Gaslini,Genova) diagnosed with "pregressa infezione respiratoria a lenta risoluzione in paziente allergico(sensibilizzazione alle compositae) con discinesia cigliare di probabile natura secondaria". I am given antibiotics while i'm there, but then I get sent home and become very ill very quickly(10 minutes outside the hospital and i already have sputum). Later we get a call saying i tested positive for Staphylococcus aureus, i start Augmentin for 21 days and i get better.
  16. - In this period of time(17 years old, 5 years ago) my diarrhea becomes very severe, up to 6-7 times a day. I keep losing weight, very skinny. All the tests come back negative and it is concluded that i have no organic problem.
  17. - In this period of time (17 years old, 5 years ago) my cognitive impairment starts worsening a lot and it is still worsening to this day at an accelerating rate. I start getting extreme fatigue, tachycardia, extreme malaise when waking up and circadian rhythm disruption.
  18. - 2-3 years ago: had severe digestive issues and acid reflux and stomach pain. I went to a gastroenterologist for this and a esophagogastroduodenoscopy showed grade B esophagitis. I was given Rabeprazole 20mg for 8 weeks for this together with b12 and folate. The acid reflux and stomach pain went away almost completely(more detail below), the digestive issues improved partially.
  19.
  20. Since then, my situation has kept getting worse and i have many new symptoms. Right now my life is totally miserable and symptoms keep getting worse at an increasing rate.
  21. List of current symptoms:
  22. - Extreme fatigue, physical and mental. Unable to ever leave the house or do anything significant.
  23. - Severe orthostatic intolerance, occasional dizziness.
  24. - Air hunger, breathlessness.
  25. - Heavy sweating, in certain occasions.
  26. - Frequent involuntary movements and muscle contractions (appeared approx. 1 year ago)
  27. - Unrefreshing sleep, intense malaise and fatigue after waking up with sometimes intense tachycardia.
  28. - less severe tachycardia during the day
  29. - Sleepiness
  30. - Palpitations
  31. - Intense pressure behind the eyes, increases with exercise (or taking B complex)
  32. - Emotions severely reduced in all aspects, feel "damaged" and "depleted". Same goes for most sensations/perceptions. Low mood can also happen but usually only after exertion.
  33. - Very severe cognitive, concentration and attention problems. Described in detail below.
  34. - Big problems with motor coordination, very clumsy
  35. - Altered heat/cold perception
  36. - Headaches of different kinds (when the pressure behind the eyes gets very intense, it feels more like a headache), usually doesn't last long except in some periods where it lasts for days.
  37. - Digestion problems, mainly bloating, additional fatigue after eating etc.
  38. - Big alterations of hunger and thirst. I am basically never thirsty, have to force myself to drink(sometimes the water makes my throat feel uncomfortable, like it's telling me i really shouldn't drink this). Hunger is quite random, and most of the time it doesn't manifest as hunger but as a really annoying "void" feeling in my stomach that tells me i should eat(this happens especially in the morning), and when i do eat absolutely 0 pleasure, like i'm taking a medicine.
  39. - stool alteration
  40. - My vision has been constantly declining and i often have blurry vision. Eye irritation
  41. - Skin problems around my head, something like psoriasis(with sometimes itching rarely bleeding). Slight bumps.
  42. - Somewhat scaly skin, similar to Ichthyosis. but only in some places in my arms and legs
  43. - Occasionally, about every 2 months, i feel very sick with flu like symptoms (but no temperature) and a headache, lasts for a couple of days.
  44. - Occasional anus pain, hemorrhoids were identified in the last colonoscopy.
  45.
  46. ⦁ Many of my symptoms seem linked to sleep in many strange ways. One thing already mentioned is diarrhea after being woken up since a young age. It didn't matter where i had to go, it could be school (which i didn't particularly dislike at the time, since my brain still worked), or any place i liked. I remember getting raging diarrhea when i was woken up in the middle of the night to catch a flight, we were going on vacation.
  47. Now the situation is different but still similar:
  48. - I have intestine pain almost always after waking up(naturally or not), it keeps getting more intense and lasts longer(in some periods), with bowel movements. Following that i have full blown diarrhea sometimes, but most of the time the stool is only partially altered. Usually, the first part of the stool looks solid, then it gets more and more liquid. It may be darker in some areas.
  49. - Especially heavy feeling behind the eyes some mornings
  50. - I still get severe diarrhea if i am woken up early.
  51.
  52. ⦁ I also get many symptoms if i try to go to bed too early, like 1 hour earlier than usual("barrier"):
  53. - Abdominal pain in different location(not the intestine)
  54. - Severe bloating
  55. - Pain below ribcage
  56. - Intense tachycardia, palpitations
  57. - Severe breathlessness, trouble breating
  58. - Nausea
  59. - Bad taste in mouth or dry mouth (i keep myself hydrated)
  60. - Sore throat
  61. - dry red eyes, rough feeling under my eyelids
  62. - increased pressure behind the eyes
  63. - Nose gets randomly stuffed for no reason, hugely increased mucus production, closed nasal passages
  64. - Persistent Itching around my head
  65. - Liquid discharge, bleeding near(behind) my ears and head, dry ears
  66. - Localized headache
  67. - lots of involuntary movements
  68. - As i try to sleep, i get less and less sleepy but i start yawning more and more.
  69. -"foggy" feeling(used to get this when i was woken up as a kid, not anymore)
  70. - Acid sensation below my throat
  71. - disrupted sleep
  72. - discomfort under armpits. This always happens when i try to fall asleep but it's more significant if i go too early.
  73.
  74. ⦁ Significant worsening of symptoms after minor exertion and a few new symptoms appear:
  75. Things that can happen after very minor exertion(leaving the house, cognitive exertion):
  76. - Even more extreme fatigue, orthostatic intolerance gets worse(can't sit have to lie down)
  77. - Feeling very shaky
  78. - Abdominal pain
  79. - Malaise in the morning gets much worse, in addition to having nausea when i try to fall asleep the day before(even without going to bed earlier). Intestine pain in the morning can get really painful.
  80. - More palpitations, tachycardia
  81. - nausea
  82. - Dizziness (during exertion)
  83. - Chest pain(where the heart is)
  84. - Pressure behind the eyes increases, and when i try to sleep it feels like they are about to burst out, making it much harder to fall asleep, and the day after it feels like my sleep quality was worse than usual.
  85. - Cognitive abilities and memory become even worse than they already are, huge brain fog that gets MUCH worse, i'm literally unable to say what i want to.
  86. - Breathlessness/air hunger gets worse
  87. - Low mood.
  88. - Severe diarrhea
  89. - Dry mouth usually very soon after exertion(minutes), heavy sweating.
  90. - Itching
  91. - bad taste in mouth the morning after exertion, yellow teeth.
  92. - Minor bleeding in my ears, liquid discharge, dry ears
  93. - increased mucus
  94.
  95. ⦁ Cognitive problems in detail:
  96. - Extreme difficulty organizing things and/or place them in a mental scheme. writing this has been pure torture. I guarantee almost nobody else would have done it.
  97. - extreme mental fatigue when doing new things(with following symptom worsening)
  98. - Extremely hard to learn new things, i've translated things over 30 times and still not remember what they mean.
  99. - Impossible to meditate, very low concentration.
  100. - "cognitive restlessness", can't stay focused on a task to save my life.
  101. - Extremely bad memory, have to write everything down.
  102. - Low text and speech comprehension, big problems with letters and numbers(when i hear a number or a word being spelled out i can't understand AT ALL unless its done extremely slowly).
  103. - Problems similar to dyslexia, word/letter swap etc.
  104. - Non existant multitasking
  105. - Hard to find the right words when i speak, quick wit gone.
  106. - Big difficulties in figuring out logic puzzles, imagining the different possibilities, making lists or examples.
  107. - Nonexistent creativity
  108. - Huge trouble reading graphs, spacial awereness very compromised
  109. - Ability to visualize images in my mind very reduced
  110. - Altered perception of time
  111. - Beyond horrible at things like math. I went from top grades, best of the class in math and physics with little effort to the absolute worst. I couldn't understand a single word in class so I started going to private teachers, started trying EXTREMELY HARD; i remember one private teacher telling me i looked like i tried way too hard to understand and memorize what she was explaining me. I tried SO hard to understand things, it was an absolute and painful struggle for me... and i still had the worst glades in class. Even people who always behaved like complete idiots, didn't pay attention, disrupted and made noise during lessons, and didn't go to private teachers... even THOSE people still had better grades than me. I went from the best to the absolute worst of the worst, literally.
  112. - I don't know what to call this symptom. Trying to concentrate is very painful for me. I don't feel anxiety or sadness or anything, but i feel "cognitive pain". Imagine being in a state of flow, i'm the opposite of that. Searching for things also feels really painful(i used to like it many years ago).
