- Mleh I hate making character descriptions for some reason ;-;
- I always feel like one of those gross, one-sided fetish fuel writers, mainly because of that period in my life when I was a gross, one-sided fetish fuel writer. Regardless.
- Wren is a member of a forest-dwelling harpy subspecies. Despite her subspecies/group holding some Evil traditions, they don’t actually appear particularly depraved or monstrous, likely because they weren’t one of the subspecies explicitly brought up to plague humanity. They have arms and torsos essentially matching a human's in proportion and features, though their arms are of course just the base of their large wings. While the arms/wings are easily maneuverable, they bend inwards at slighter angles (though at several points) and end in elongated, feather-covered hands with sharp, curved claws. Perfectly fine for holding and interacting with most things, but they prevent these harpies from working with fine objects or on themselves (such as, say, to button a shirt) very easily. The wings are also too wide to fit in the arm slots of most clothing without damaging feathers and requiring lots of preening. (Anything with sleeves is a no.)
- Besides the wings and rare stray groups on the torso, feathers are mostly located on the lower half of the body. They start around the midriff, where the belly button would go if that were a thing, and extend all the way down their strangely bowed legs. (They have slightly pronounced tail feathers.) Their ankles and feet are a bird's, which is somewhat self-explanatory, but they aren’t very long even when held flat.
- The scales of a harpy's feet and the color/pattern of their feathers can vary, but in the case of Wren's group, the majority have dark gray scales and speckled feathers of varying shades of brown, and she’s actually no exception to either. Her skin and hair is also brown, a medium tone for the former and dark for the latter (which she also doesn’t do anything fancy with besides cut it enough to keep out of her eyes, so it simply hangs around her wildly). The only particularly vibrant color on her is the bright but dirty and tattered cloak she wears draped over her torso (really more of a big red scarf with disrepair) and her green eyes.
