- Realizing that plan failed, the Saxons try again at the battle of the Glien River. This battle had the Saxons ambush Arthur and his army while they were getting clean water only for Arthur to look at them and go “AHA! They have us surrounded. That means I don’t have to go far to kill them all!” rally his men and slaughter the ambushers in what historians classify as “A decisive and overwhelming victory” which is a pretty way to say, “A massacre.” Arthur himself kills FOUR HUNDRED AND SEVENTY men in this fight, including finishing off Colgrin and Baldulph!
