Kara Chapter 8

<Byzantinefire1>	On the ship Cal had built Kara a small ball droid.

<Byzantinefire1>	Keyla: Looks like we are nearing Onderon.

<NatureTales>	Kara: how are we gonna get through?

<Byzantinefire1>	They then noticed barefoot prints on the soil just below the hole.

<NatureTales>	Kara drops to all fours and smells the prints. She gets trained on it's scent: that way!

<Byzantinefire1>	The team followed her into the jungle.

<Byzantinefire1>	They found there supply's ravaged by a dark skinned 14 year old wearing only and old maldalorian helmet.

<NatureTales>	Kara: hello?

<Byzantinefire1>	Jiraiya: Hey.

<barefootZanko>	Borgon: Those are our supplies.

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara then ignites her lightsaber and nearly plunges it into her chest but Kara grabbed her arm to stop her.

<Byzantinefire1>	Kara with tears in her eyes spoke to Phara.

<NatureTales>	Kara: Please don't do this

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara: Why aren't i not your enemy haven't wronged you why would you want to save me?

<NatureTales>	Kara: I've lost people I care about too. Not a day goes by where I dont wish I could have just one more day with my parents. And I don't know what I wouldn't give to have them back. You are the only family Cal has left. Please don't do this to him

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara drops her lightsaber and sobs.

<Byzantinefire1>	Cal and Kara moves in to give her a hug.

<illcitvirus115>	these Stormtroopers had blue stripes running across their armor and helmets, indicating they were members of the dreaded 501st Legion of clones

<Byzantinefire1>	Amongst them a tall dark figure with a red lightsaber.

<illcitvirus115>	Zera: Vader's here? Aw sweet Jundlund Wastes... We're in deep Bantha muck now!

<Byzantinefire1>	Jiraiya: I'll help if you release me from these shackles.

<NatureTales>	Kara looks to her then to Cal

<Byzantinefire1>	Kara, Cal and Phara are fighting stormtrooper after stormtrooper.

<Byzantinefire1>	Keyla sent a distress call to the alliance for help.

<illcitvirus115>	Kara is tearing down trooper after trooper faster than usual, and in a more brutal fashion with her spear

<Byzantinefire1>	Vader arrives before them.

<illcitvirus115>	Cal: That Lord Vader I hear so much about... I thought'd you'd be shinier.

<Byzantinefire1>	Cal feels cold.

<Byzantinefire1>	Cal and Kara felt very cold.

<NatureTales>	Kara puts on a brave face, but really has never been more scared in her whole life

<illcitvirus115>	Vader: I sense much fear and anger within you...

<Byzantinefire1>	Darth Vader: The force is indeed strong with you two but you are barely Jedi.

<illcitvirus115>	Cal: We're just getting started..

<Byzantinefire1>	Vader grabbed him with the force and held him up in the air.

<NatureTales>	Kara: Cal! She then leaps up with her spear

<Byzantinefire1>	She is caught by his force grip as well.

<illcitvirus115>	Vader casually slices it in twain with his lightsaber

<Byzantinefire1>	Then Phara lunges at Vader.

<Byzantinefire1>	They duel.

<illcitvirus115>	Kara and Cal fall to the ground, catching their breath from Vader's dreaded Force Choke

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara was exhausted from her previous battle.

<illcitvirus115>	Vader: The Force is weak with you, traitor.

<Byzantinefire1>	Suddenly a fleet of Rebel starfighters show up.

<Byzantinefire1>	Reinforcements have arrived.

<illcitvirus115>	the 501st take defensive positions and ready their anit-air defenses

<Byzantinefire1>	They were shot down.

<illcitvirus115>	the 501st commence a tactical withdraw as most of their numbers are blown to smithereens by passing X-Wings

<Byzantinefire1>	Vader feels Skywalkers presense in one of the x-wings and decides to withdraw from his duel to go after skywalker.

<illcitvirus115>	Cal: *back on his feet* That was too close...

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara collapses from exhaustion.

<Byzantinefire1>	The 2 worry about her and carry her back to the ship.

<Byzantinefire1>	The team and the rest of rebels evacuate the planet.

<Byzantinefire1>	2 days later Phara wakes up.

<NatureTales>	Kara is looking over her

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara: Kara?

<NatureTales>	Kara: It's okay, your safe (she had been applying wookie remedys to her injuries)

<illcitvirus115>	Cal: On our ship.

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara: I see.

<illcitvirus115>	Cal: *Phara tries to get up* Easy, you've been out for a few days.

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara: So what now?

<Byzantinefire1>	Will i be executed by the alliance.

<illcitvirus115>	Cal: Executed? By a movement proposing democracy to the galaxy? Could never happen.

<NatureTales>	Kara: You don't have to worry about that sort of thing anymore

<Byzantinefire1>	*freedom to the galaxy.

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara: I see.

<illcitvirus115>	*The rebellion fought to restore democracy as well, seeing as the Empire replaced it with fascism

<Byzantinefire1>	Keyla: We have told are superiors what has happened so you don't have to worry about us.

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara: But Vader is a whole other story entirely.

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara: And barely you or your team can face him yourself.

<illcitvirus115>	Cal: You'll be safe with us, sis. Trust me.

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara: I suppose i could help you with your skills you are too sloppy with your dueling.

<NatureTales>	Kara looks on. She is very happy for Cal that he has found his family and dlearned his past. But couldn't help but want that sort of thing for herself

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara then hugs Kara.

<illcitvirus115>	Kara smiles and sighs as she takes her seat

<NatureTales>	Kara hugs her tightly, like a wookie would

<Byzantinefire1>	Phare whispers into her ear: You and Cal are my family.

<Byzantinefire1>	Phara: I have always wanted a little sister.

<NatureTales>	Kara: Family has always been important to me

<Byzantinefire1>	Then the rest of the team hugs the three and ends chapter 8.
