- VAMPIRE FACTS & MYTHS
- MYTH: Vampires are destroyed by silver.
- FACT: This is a misconception. Werewolves are the ones who are actually 'allergic' to silver.
- MYTH: Vampires die from being staked.
- FACT: Anything dies from being staked at the heart. Duh. This comes from the fact that a vampire is unable to regenerate a damaged heart; meaning ANYTHING can destroy a vampire if it takes a grievous blow there.
- However it's more advised to destroy the brain rather than the heart; some vampires have gotten so old or gorged on blood that being staked in the heart staggers them at most.
- MYTH: You must invite a vampire to let it inside your house.
- FACT: False! Vampires can totally fuck you up whenever they want to.
- MYTH: Garlic harms vampires.
- FACT: It does indeed harm vampires!
- MYTH: Vampires can't see reflections.
- Fact: They can.
- MYTH: Vampires can't tolerate religious artifacts.
- FACT: Vampires can actually be religious AND vampiric.
- MYTH: Sunlight harms vampires.
- Fact: True. It varies for different species though. Some vampires are actually scared of/or harmed by any light not produced by the sun. Vampires can actually counteract sunlight by applying sunblock, which is a common practice.
- MYTH: Vampires are hawt
- Fact: Varies. Some vampires are attractive, some are hideous. It varies just as much as normal humans do. A blood-starved vampire is always hideous or unhealthy. This myth may come from the fact that the vampire's are adept at mind control and compelling people to doing what they want.
- Myth: You should decapitate a vampire to make sure it stays dead.
- Fact: Very true. Vampires can regenerate injuries within minutes; or even, seconds.
- MYTH: Vampires are pale.
- Fact: Not really. There are some vampires that are actually tan.
