  1. Finding/buying auction domains for money sites?
  2. We all know that starting a website with a fresh domain or even expired domain with no links is very different than buying an auction domain with good backlinks and history.

  14. But my question is: how do we find good auction domains specifically with good backlinks and with preferable keywords in the domain? Sifting through the domains on GoDaddy one by one and checking their links is so time-consuming and it feels like finding a good domain is like looking for a needle in a hay-stack. Thoughts?

  22. Using these, you can basically filter all expiring and expired domains across various platforms like GoDaddy, NameJet etc. based on SEO metrics.
  23. Do you have SB? Trust me, If you know how to use SB, you can find tons of good domains for your sites. You can find tuts on BHW for the same.
  24. You can create go daddy auction account and go there and you can use customize search and bid accordingly and win and you can get AGED domain
  25. Use a domain broker. Sure, you will pay extra for the service, but time saved and the quality of work you will receive are well worth it.
  26. Using a "free to register" domain as a money site is a waste of time. There will barely be any boost (if any) and if you can't check domains properly, you might start working on a lame domain that will never rank. You want to get a nice big domain to see some actual advantage. And having filters like "keyword in the domain name", well you might as well be waiting a year for a domain like that.
  27. You are supposed to find a nice domain and then base a niche on that particular domain. Not the other way around.

  40. Hi gentzalli,
  41.
  42. To find an auction domain with quality backlink profile is not that hard, but to get the combination of both links and the keyword-rich domain name can be painful. Even if you would find your keyword domain, it will be a partial-match domain and more rarely an exact match. Also, for some niches, you'll wait for sure for months before such domain name are about to expire.
  43.
  44. Now, the easiest way to acquire such domain is definitely to reach already established domain selling services which are vetting domains all day long. To vet domains yourself and to stay in the loop in the domain industry is definitely time-consuming and expensive for most SEO individuals. If anyone will tell you differently, that person is lying to you, or he had tremendous luck to find such a domain in the first try.
  45. ...But my question is: how do we find good auction domains specifically with good backlinks and with preferable keywords in the domain? ...
  46. The best method:
  47.
  48. - search for domains which have in anchor text words you targeting
  49. - search for domains which have your keywords already in Google ranking
  50.
  51. The best result you'll achieve - when both conditions are met.
  52.
  53. Also, don't care about DA or DR, but make sure TF is not much lower than CF, because (if so) in 99% of cases something is wrong with backlinks.
  54. It's because Google use TRUST, which is not contained in DA and DR.
  55. why not to gather all the auction domains and then check in the bulk tool, keep the good ones and remove waste domains
  56. It's very easy. First go the https://member.expireddomains.net/ and change the filter settings to, show 200 domains per page:

  59.
  60. Then click on Marketplace domains --> GD Expired
  61.
  62. then click this button:
  63.
  64. http://prntscr.com/p92tge
  65.
  66. That will copy all the 200 domains at once.
  67.
  68. now you can place that list of 200 domains at once, at any batch analysis tool. Personally I like ahrefs batch analysis. I quickly get to see all the DR/UR ratings etc.

  73. This is what I used to do when I was into domains and shit. Nargil is great, he helped me out a lot and taught me some stuff without asking for anything in return. I assume his domains are great too because of how cool the guy is. Personally, unless you just looking to learn, I would suggest a domain broker too. It takes a long time to figure out all the tools and techniques, expired domains is a industry on it's own. Also, there are no good free tools other than expireddomains.net (that I know of)
  74.
  75. PS: keywords in the domain is asking for too much, as Nargil already said. You could still put in your keyword at expireddomains.net and see if you get lucky. You can also trying picking an adwords category:

  78.
  79. PS2: If I don't get a million likes for this, I swear.
  80. I use to scrape for domains with different tools and everything. Way too time consuming for me so now I just buy them in the Marketplace. There's a few guides on here about what to look for when trying to find expired/auction domains
