Background :: Himari was born in Ilsan South korea to a Japanese father, and a Korean mother.  She grew up singing and rapping.  She never had the most friends so she hung out with her older brothers most of the time.  Her brothers are identical twins.  They loved her to death though.  If she was hungry, they would get up at 12 in teh moring to cook for her, if she was upset they were going to know why and fix it.  When she was in school she got bullied a lot for being half Japanese.  But that didn't last long since her family moved to Kyoto Japan for 2 years before moving to Guri, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.  That's where her brothers met Xiumin. She had a slight crush on him, but she thought that he would only ever see her as one of the guys cause of her personality and style.  When she got into high school, she kind of lost herself.  She didn't know what she wanted to do, and struggled to find herself.  She pushed herself away from everyone.  even her brothers couldn't get through to her.  She was just kind of lost.  She began to do terrible in school, and she was more tired.  She once again was lonely.  And the though of her first love never accepting her feelings just made things worse.  One day, Xiumin  convinced her to audition for SM with him.  They both got accepted.  But her attitude didn't change.  her brother made Xiumin watch over her.  He knew something wasn't right with her, so he tried to find out what it was.  And in their third year of training he got her to open up about everything that was happening.  After she told him everything he confessed, but she denied it, say that he was only saying that cause he pitied her.  but he managed to convivence her that he truly loved her.  And slowly with Xuimin's help she got better, and managed to be happy again.

Personality :: The way she acts on stage is very confident, she likes to keep things perfectional on stage.  But off stage she is very tomboyish and affectionate.  She likes to somehow feel like she is useful.

When did you and your love interest start dating? ::  When they were trainees, they were close.  being the same age, and not to mention he was friends with her older brothers.  And since she was always with her brothers they spent a lot of time together.  And since they auditioned at they same time,  and they both got in, her brothers kind of put him in charge of her since they no longer could be around her all the time.  So in their third year of training he confessed to her.
