  16. "So... let me get this straight. You're a god too, like them?"
  17.
  18. I shook my head, not bothering to look over at Keiichi as I worked on the bike. Working with my hands is sometimes relaxing, after all. "Nah. I mean, technically, but I was born human, same as you."
  19.
  20. "Oh, well..."
  21.
  22. "About sixty million years ago. So I guess there's that."
  23.
  24. "...riiight..."
  25.
  26. "And I can answer the prayers of those who follow me, got an afterlife for everybody and a reincarnation cycle..." I turned the ratchet one more time, before tossing it over toward the rack. A minor twitch of telekinesis ensured it landed on the hook it belonged to without so much as an excessive clang. "So... kind of yes, kind of no?"
  27.
  28. Keiichi rubbed the back of his neck. "So all of that, why hang out here? I get that they have rules, but... what about you?"
  29.
  30. "Eh, your world's a neat one," I answered, grinning at him before I stood up. "Plus I'm studying Yggdrasil, among other things. They've got a lot of useful tools that I can adapt. But... honestly? I like to do sightseeing. Plenty of places worth seeing. And the occasional rollercoaster."
  31.
  32. "Rollercoaster," he repeated, deadpan, answered only by a grin before I walked over toward the work table. And then with a jingle, a set of keys were tossed his way.
  33.
  34. "Plus, I like to run around committing random acts of kindness, because humanity's pretty awesome like that. And you, my friend, are the proud new owner of this fine motorcycle. Don't let Belldandy break it, yeah?"
