  1. -Class System:

  4. Given that the Rangvald Cartel is not a state and does not see itself as a national culture, there is no officially recognized social hierarchy beyond the corporate administrative ladder of its multitude of companies as well as the Cartel organization itself. However, for practical purposes, a clear distinction can be made between different groups according to their level of involvement in the Cartel:
  5.
  6. -Group of 35: This influential yet obscure cabal holds a substantial proportion of capital within the cartel and are the most well-connected of its members, possessing not only huge authority in the private sector but also massive power behind the scenes of the unaligned community's military-industrial, political, judicial, religious, scientific and media establishment.
  7.
  8. -Directorate: The high-level executives who make up the core group of the Cartel, second only to the Group of 35 in its power and influence over the economy. They take the majority of important decisions, including admission of new members and takeover or elimination of rivals.
  9.
  10. -Contact ring: The 'contact ring' encompasses both the corporate, military and political leadership of territories under the Cartel's influence. These high-level politicians, military leaders and executives carry out the orders of the Cartel Directorate in exchange for political donations, bribes, credit or the elimination of rivals. The highest members of the Contact Ring are usually acquaintances of individual Rangvald Directors and are aware of the Cartel's operations within their local territories but they remain separated from one another and are not given the full picture. A particular sub-group of the Contact Ring is the armed forces, a private military that answers directly to the Directorate rather than being a PMC subsidiary.
  11.
  12. -Indirect Support Network: By far the largest 'class' in the cartel, the Indirect Support Network is the general term for the hundreds of billions of employees and subcontractors that work for the Cartel's companies. Unaware of the Cartel's precise existence or nature, they carry on their daily lives. The ISN isn't limited to the private sector and also encompasses the many unaligned governments that it benefits from.
