Background: Yukiko's father Hiroya is a food photographer while her mother Marie Kim is a sous chef at one of the best restaurants in New York. Her family migrated to Maine, USA when she is only 4 years old and relocated once again to China 9 years later because of her parents' job which required them to travel a lot. Yukiko then was sent to South Korea when she just turned 15 years old, to live with her maternal grandparents whom she had a really good relationship, despite having Japanese ancestry, she spoke only basic Japanese as she spent most of her time abroad. She is known to have a fear of thunder and birds.

Personality: Yukiko is a tomboy, growing up with 2 older brothers (Ryan and Desmond) and is the only girl in the family. Somehow, she doesn't really have a good relationship with her brothers cause of the 8 year age gap hence she spent most of her childhood pretty much alone till she is sent to live with her grandparents in South Korea. Yukiko can be a bit of a blunt and cocky woman but she can back hers up everytime. ●How do you guys met??: The8 met her when he is attending Wonwoo's graduation ceremony as she is one of the ushers, he bumped into her again when she is working on photographs of his group during their "Adore U" promotions, they chatted and instantly become friends. Everytime they met, they will speak Chinese as The8 struggled with his Korean a lot and Yukiko will help him since she has Korean ancestry as well.

●How does he or you confessed??:One day, The8 prepared a special event for her birthday and she is excused by the boss to attend this special event that turned out to be him confessing to her, she instantly agrees and he gives her a necklace that has a heart and arrow on it which he also had a similar one, to symbolises the start of their love story.

●Most memorable moment: One day, she is putting out some photos to dry as she accidentally wet them while she is doing her work. She almost fell down as she is standing on a high chair, The8 instantly saves her and she fell in his arms instead.

●Why did you guys break-up??: A few days after her birthday, she was on her way to meet The8 at his dorm and she found him and another girl (her rival in school Minjeong) kissing, was too froze to say anything and when Minjeong left, both argued and The8 slapped her accidentally which she end the relationship and ran off. When The8 went to apologise to her, she already packed her belongings and went to China for a "little trip". She is already broken-hearted that she is currently suffering depression.
