[Rael hurts M-21]
Kate: Hmm. [I don't like that he got hurt…]
Frankenstein: He attacked you at the school for no reason?
Takio: Yeah.
[Frankenstein starts releasing energy]
Kate: !
[Kate: Is he angry? Is he mad at him for getting injured? Or… could he be mad at the other one for hurting him?]
[Kate: That's so strange. Whenever I got injured everyone just sort of shrugged.]
Rai: Frankenstein.
Frankenstein [turns off energy]: Oh sorry master…
Rai: I think you should pay him a visit.
Frankenstein: Yes master.
Kate: That's so strange…
Tao: What is?
Kate [to Frankenstein]: Are you mad because he was injured?
Frankenstein [raises eyebrow]: Yes.
Kate: That's so strange…
Frankenstein: Why is it strange?
M-21 [irritably]: Is it because I was disposable?
Kate [looks at them]: No. No one cared if I was hurt. Not even me.
Everyone: !
Kate: I've never seen something like this before…

[Takio and Tao ask Frankenstein to make them stronger]
Tao: We don't like seeing our friend hurt like that.
Kate: ?
[Kate: They're doing experiments again? Because of that?]
[Kate: They're fighting for each other? I've never fought for anyone, not even myself. If someone was going to kill me, I just let them…]
[Kate: Fighting for someone…]
[Kate: The only time I ever fought it was because I was ordered to…]

[While they're in Lukedonia]
[Kate is in the lab spacing out]
[Kate: Fighting for each other…]
[Kate: Is it wrong? Is it right? Is it wrong to try to get stronger? Am I wrong for not doing it?]
Kate: This is so strange…
[Kate: If I don't get stronger then I'm just relying on their strength. Is that wrong? Am I a burden? Should I leave?]

[Kate: That guy from before said we gave up being human for power. It was never really our choice before, but it is now… If I do this, am I giving up being human for power? Does the reason why matter?]
[Kate: I honestly don't care about the power… I just don't want to be a burden.]
[Kate: Even if I did do what they're doing, how much stronger would I get? Would it be enough to matter?]
[Kate: Frankenstein defeated Aris and Yuri like it was nothing. If he hadn't shown up I never would have gotten out of there. It was pure dumb luck.]

[Kate: When M-21 was injured I said it was strange… ]
[Kate: Have I become like Aris and Yuri without realizing it?]
[Kate [frowns]: I don't want to be like them. It's distasteful… But am I like Frankenstein and the others? Am I like neither? If this isn't who I am, then who am I?]

Kate: Oh hey guys. How was Lukedonia?
Tao: Well, we fought Rael again. And Frankenstein fought a family leader. And it turns out Rai is the Noblesse.
Kate: I thought they were all Noblesse?
Tao: No, apparently Noblesse refers to one person and that’s Rai. He’s one of the strongest, possibly THE strongest vampire.
Kate: Huh. How about that?
Tao: Also, apparently Frankenstein is a human.
Kate: Well, that’s neat.
Tao: Why aren’t you more surprised?
M-21: Yeah, we were all shocked.
Kate: I don’t know. I guess I never really thought about it. Didn’t seem important.
Takio: Are you sure YOU’RE human?
Kate: Well, actually, all the experiment bullshit aside, I’ve never really been good at being human...
Everyone: ...

[After discussing the modified humans from the Korean government]
Kate: Frankenstein, I need to talk to you about something.
Frankenstein: Yes. What is it?
Kate: Why are we fighting?
Frankenstein: ?
Kate: I thought maybe your enemy was the union because you fought Aris and Yuri. But they you went to Lukedonia and fought the Nobles, even though Regis and Seria are Nobles. And now the Korean government? I don't get it…
Frankenstein: I guess that would be confusing for you.
Kate: And the other guys didn't have to fight at all but they followed you to Lukedonia. Was it to get Seria back? Did they want a rematch with Rael?

Kate: No.
Frankenstein: Have you ever fought to protect someone?
Kate: No. I didn't even fight for myself. You did that.
