- “There’s a gym on the floor below this. Good, wide area for swinging a sword about.” Valerie suggests, but you’re already shaking your head. “Hmmm? Something wrong about the training area? I mean, it’s specially made, so it ought to be able to take a few stray attacks if you make a mistake or two.”
- You explain that the gym is simply too small to test your limits.
- Also, you explain that the horizon is too filled up with ‘skyscrapers,’ so you won’t be able to train in any capacity without harming them.
- “…I see.” Valerie muses after a moment of silence. She places down the ‘tablet’ that she was utilizing to read over various reports. You’re slowly being introduced to the many technologies of human civilization. So far you’re getting the terms correct and not mistaking various tools for one another. Progress. “Then, do you have a proposal?”
- Wait, why can’t you just train in the sky? Nothing up there that you can’t accidentally wipe out-.”
- You wait quietly as the ‘television’ with a ‘news channel’ on it begins speaking about ‘a mysterious Aurora’ and the sudden loss atmosphere over southern Japan. You know better than to think you weren’t the cause of such problems. There have been mentions that radiation from space may have leaked onto Earth if the atmosphere hadn’t suddenly rushed in to fill the ‘vacuum’ you created.
- “Right, the atmosphere cutting thing, forgot about that.” Valerie nods seriously. “You know what? I’ll look into that right now. We really shouldn’t bother the maids too much about frivolous stuff like this.”
