Hello everybody! This is Aeth here, whom you may also know as the gm of this particular setting! I'll be your host for the session following, and I am here to answer any questions you may have during your reading of the information on the roleplay!

This rp is pretty young, as of this message being written.  She still has room to grow, and become much better! Well then....that should be it for now. I hope you enjoy this all. I'll be seeing you again when you are about to prepare the character sheet!

But let us move on to the starting of the rp. Now, the world of Balen is supposedly, huge. In it's ancient days, it was said that the entirety of it's landmass was unified, into a Pangaea like structure. It was harsh as fuck, and nothing really managed to survive long enough in it. But that's not what we are dealing with right now.

In a distant world, a species of, comparatively all powerful divine beings made of the pure white flame of the universe (something, that other folks tend to call the "Quadrant", even if it's not quadratic at all...), called "Spirits". And these spirits were, beyond anything, thoroughly, and unimaginably bored. They were tired of fighting eachother...and then they noticed this small world. Using their fiery power, to break space and time, they warped themselves, into shells of pure bright fractal crystals, possessed of nigh infinite power.

They built a gigantic golden city, sprawling from the center of this massive continent, and covering the entirety of it, with ease. Humans, demi-humans, and even things like undead, or imps were invited to live in there. The races, of the harsh world, were elevated, and empowered, and the ground was revitalized. It became possible, for beings that WEREN'T invincible, immortal and all powerful extra dimensional entities, to live and prosper in this world.

But of course, you know how people are. Or even Spirits, really. Conflict seeped, into the hearts of these beings. Numerous factions were defined, and they all begun fighting. The continent was shattered. The city, lost. Shit was wrecked, beyond repair. Terrible.

Content Expansions:

1. The first new content release focuses on adding more variety to the nations of Revia and The Hole, as well as adding to the reptile race slightly, with the Primal Weavers, and Dragon's Horde. (These are however, not race locked).

2. The second big of new content release focuses instead on what seems to be a simple succession crisis, yet full order asistance has been requested, with the area at hand being just at the side of the infamous Arcrius ruins. Introduces Gnoll race.

3 Third release! It involves the rest of the Hole, where no law will save you, no road will take you anywhere you wish to go, no food or water to sate your hunger and thirst, but most importantly, no toilet paper, as you will need it the most!

4. Fourth release is out. Detailing on some of the surroundings, of the main continent, mainly the archipelagos. Details the recently stranded colons, pirate fleets, merfolk activists, as well as trails of an ancient civilization! Yey!

5. The fifth release takes you to Festung, a distant city where automatons and golems were first born as species, now a place of darkness and fear, most would outright wish to escape. Some brave souls however, have made it in there, seeking..something!
