  1. So, seeing as to how there are lots of people new on OPPrison, most of the time chat tends to get filled with questions from these new players, regarding all sorts of stuff related to Prison. While I do answer the questions if I'm online, there are times when I'm not online, nor is any other staff. So, the new players must wait or ask donors about certain things, and even then they may not get the 100% correct answer. This was the reason beyond my decision to make a thread including all the questions & tips players are going to need on OPPrison.
  2. Let's dive right into it, then. I'll be dividing this thread into three main categories: Plots, PvP-ing and Mining.
  3.
  4. Plots
  5.
  6. Starting on plots, there's a few commands & things players should be aware of if they want to get a plot.
  7.
  8. 1. I've played for some time and I've gathered stuff I can't hold, due to my inventory being full, or I just want to build stuff, but don't know where. What do I do?
  9. Any player can make a plot by simply typing /plot auto. Upon entering the command, a plot will be created and you will get teleported there automatically. If you leave the plot world and don't know how to come back, thinking you may have just lost your plot - Don't worry, you didn't! To get back to your plot, you must simply type
  10. /plot h, which will teleport you back to your first plot. If you have more than one plot, it means you have a rank. To claim multiple plots, you just need to type /plot auto as many times as necessary before hitting the limit, in which case a message saying "You can't claim more plots." should pop up. If you have multiple plots and don't know how to get to them, you only need to type /plot h (Number) and it will take you to the plot you want to get to. Non-Donators may only have 1 plot, but Donators may have multiple, as each rank offers an increased number of plots, bigger than the default rank, which will only have 1 plot. Regarding a list of how many plots can each rank have, it would be something like this:
  11. Comet - First & Lowest rank, can have up to 2 plots.
  12. Dwarf - Second rank, can have up to 3 plots.
  13. Proteus - Third rank, can have up to 4 plots.
  14. Pandora - Fourth rank, can have up to 5 plots.
  15. Celestial - Fifth rank, can have up to 6 plots.
  16. Meso - Sixth & Highest rank, can have up to 10 plots.
  17. Furthermore, if you want to build stuff on your plot, all the mines have certain materials you may want to use into decorating your plot the way you like. Mines aren't the only places where you can gather materials, though, so be sure to check /shop too!
  18.
  19. 2. How can I add, remove, deny, undeny and trust players to my plot?
  20. You can add players to your plot by typing /plot add (IGN). If done inside a plot, this will make it so a player can interact with your chests, break/place blocks, open/close doors, basically interacting with everything you have on your plot. This command is very similar to /plot trust (IGN), which almost does the same thing, except there's a slight difference. By adding someone to your plot, you let the player interact with it when you're online, so they won't be able to do anything on your plot when you're offline. By trusting someone to your plot, you let the player interact with it when you're online, but also offline.
  21.
  22. If you don't want players to be added/trusted to your plot anymore, you can remove them from the plot using the command /plot remove (IGN). If done inside a plot, this command will remove a certain player from your plot, making it impossible for them to interact with it.
  23.
  24. If you want a player to stop coming on your plot and annoy/harass you, by getting in your way when you do something or stay infront of you when you place a block, you can deny the player from your plot by typing /plot deny (IGN). If done inside a plot, this command will make it so the player will be unable to step inside your plot. If you denied someone from your plot but now you want to undeny him and you don't know how, you can do so by typing /plot remove (IGN). If done inside a plot, this command will make it so the player is allowed to step inside your plot again.
  25.
  26. You can also type /plot i while inside a plot to see who is added, trusted & denied on that plot.
  27.
  28. 3. I have obtained a plot, started building on it, but noticed I can't get any type of plants or bonemeal. What can I do?
  29. Currently, there isn't much you can do in this case, as there are no actual ways of getting those from any source. So, if you have project/build that needs leaves, plants or flowers, you should think about getting into another project, as you won't be able to finish the one you originally thought about, due to the fact that you cannot obtain plants, leaves or flowers.
  30.
  31. 4. How can I create a shop?
  32. To create a shop, you need a sign and a chest / double-chest. Place the chest / double-chest down, and then place the sign on it. In order to set up your shop, you're gonna have to use all 4 lines on the sign you just placed. This is how you're gonna want to have your sign set up if you want to create shop:
  33. First sign line - Your IGN. If it's too long for it to fit there, just leave the first line blank.
  34. Second sign line - The Amount of the Item you want to sell/buy. Simply put a number between 1 and 64, depending on how many items you want to sell or buy.
  35. Third sign line - B or S, followed by the price you want to sell/buy stuff for. B stands for Buy, which means you're gonna sell an item to a player, so the player is gonna buy items from you. S stands for Sell, which means you're gonna buy items from a player, so the player is gonna sell items to you. As far as how pricing goes:
  36. 1M (1 Million) = 1E6 ; 10M = 1E7 ; 100M = 1E8.
  37. 1B (1 Billion) = 1E9 ; 10B = 1E10 ; 100B = 1E11.
  38. 1T (1 Trillion) = 1E12 ; 10T = 1E13 ; 100T = 1E14.
  39. 1Q (1 Quadrillion) = 1E15 ; 10Q = 1E16 ; 100Q = 1E17.
  40. 1QT (1 Quintillion) = 1E18 ; 10QT = 1E19 ; 100QT = 1E20.
  41. 1S (1 Sextillion) = 1E21 ; 10S = 1E22 ; 100S= 1E23
  42.
  43. Fourth sign line - The ID of the item you're trying to sell/buy. To find out the ID of an item, simply hold it in your hand and type /iteminfo. You're gonna want to look after the line where it says "Shop Sign:", because what's after that is what you need to put on the sign. For example, an enchanted Fishing Rod with Unbreaking 3, Lure 3 and Lucky of the Sea 3 would have this item ID.
  44.
  45. 5. I wanted to get water in order to continue a project I had on my plot, but I realized there's no water in the shop. How do I get water?
  46. Water can only be obtained if given or bought by other players. So if you ask nicely in chat, most of the time someone will have water and they'll sell it to you for a certain price!
  47.
  48. 6. Where do I get wood?
  49. Despite Wood being in its own mine on OPPrison v3, things changed now that we're on v4. Wood doesn't belong in its own mine anymore, as now it is located in /shop, under "Building Blocks".
  50.
  51. 7. I've seen custom messages appear in my chat when I enter certain people's plots. How do I get that?
  52. Those custom messages are the result of using a greeting on your plot. To be able to put messages as a greeting, so that everytime someone enters your plot they're gonna see the message, you simply type /plot flag set greeting (Message). You can use color codes & formatting codes, just be sure that you know how. Here is a list containing all the color codes & formatting codes. You can even use %player% if you want each player to see their own name in the greeting message, whenever they enter your plot.
  53.
  54. 8. How do I go to other people's plots?
  55. To go to other people's plots, you simply need to type /plot h (IGN) (Plot Number). For example, if you want to go to someone's 3rd plot, you would type /plot h (IGN) 3.
  56.
  57. 9. How do I delete a plot?
  58. To delete a plot, all you need to do is type /plot delete while standing inside the plot you want to delete. Remember that deleting your plot will unclaim it, removing all the stuff that was on it. So be careful before you do the command!
  59.
  60. 10. Why don't Hoppers work?
  61. Hoppers are disabled for now, due to the lag issues they cause.
  62.
  63. PvP-ing
  64.
  65. Moving on to PvP-ing, this category has less stuff you need to know about, but it's still something. It's just that this one will be shorter than the previous category, which was Plots.
  66.
  67. 1. Is there a place to fight?
  68. Yes, there are actually 2 places to fight, not 1! The first place would be all around the spawn area, and it can be accessed by going to /spawn and simply going forward until you see the red line made from carpets. Past that, PvP is enabled, so be careful when passing it!
  69. The second place would be right at /warp pvp. Once there, simply Drop down and you'll be in the pvp zone. This place is actually smaller than the place around spawn, but I don't know the exact size of it, so I can't say for sure how big it is. The place around spawn, however, is massive, going up to a total of 1024x1024 in terms of map size, so you're gonna have to do a lot of exploring to get to know all of it.
  70.
  71. 2. I want to PvP but I don't have a kit. How do I get one?
  72. You can get a kit by simply typing /kit starter. It comes with all the armor and all the tools, which you can then use to enhance your experience on Prison. However, if you want more chances of beating someone in PvP, then you should get better armor & a better sword, axe & bow. You can get this stuff from higher kits, with the Meso Kit being the best you can get & use in PvP.
  73.
  74. 3. I've seen some people that are capable of doing more damage than me, even though we both have the same kit equipped! How is that possible?
  75. That's basically McMMO. McMMO is an open source plugin for Minecraft multiplayer servers that is currently being developed by nossr50. McMMO allows for an RPG-like experience to exist in the world of McMMO complete with skill leveling, special abilities, rare loot, brand new mechanics and a more in-depth PvP. The McMMO skills you're gonna be using in PvP are the following:
  76. Archery, Axes, Swords & Acrobatics.
  77. Archery - skill in McMMO. It includes passive abilities and can be leveled to actively deal more damage.
  78.
  79. Abilities
  80.
  81. Daze: Daze has a chance of giving your opponent nausea and deals an extra 4 damage (2 Minecraft Hearts). Also, it forces the player to look upwards, giving a big advantage in PvP.
  82. Chance of dazing an opponent increases by 0.05% for each level of Archery. Daze caps at level 1000 with 50%.
  83. Note that this has no effect on mobs.
  84.
  85. Arrow Retrieval: This passive ability allows you to pick up arrows that you have fired at mobs and enemies in PvP. The chance for this stat increases by 0.1% with each level of Archery, having a cap at 100% at level 1000.
  86.
  87. Bonus Damage Table
  88. Your archery damage increases 10% every 50 archery levels, to a maximum buff of 200% at level 1000. The damage from Skillshot caps at 9 damage, effectively preventing 1 shot kills in PvP.
  89.
  90. Archery Skill Bonus Damage
  91. 50 10%
  92. 100 20%
  93. 150 30%
  94. 200 40%
  95. 250 50%
  96. 300 60%
  97. 350 70%
  98. 400 80%
  99. 450 90%
  100. 500 100%
  101. 550 110%
  102. 600 120%
  103. 650 130%
  104. 700 140%
  105. 750 150%
  106. 800 160%
  107. 850 170%
  108. 900 180%
  109. 950 190%
  110. 1000 Triple Damage
  111.
  112.
  113. Axes - skill based on using the axe tool as a weapon to fight mobs and other players. It adds more variety to gameplay by introducing a new type of weapon viable for many situations.
  114. Axes can be very useful in PvP as it can quickly break armour and deal critical strikes. Depending your axes level, it is possible to break armour at a very quick rate.
  115.
  116. Abilities
  117.
  118. Skull Splitter: With an Axe held in your hand, you can right-click a block, making your active ability ready for use. The ability will then get activated by hitting Mobs/Players. Skull Splitter allows you to do an AoE (Area of Effect) hit, damaging every one within a half blocks radius from your main target, dealing half the damage you are dealing to the main target. This can be great if you are in a 1v2 in PvP, or just clearing groups of mobs. This ability works for a limited amount of time starting out at 2 seconds, increasing by 1 second every 50 levels
  119.
  120. Critical Strikes: Critical Strikes double the amount of damage you do with your axe. This is be great for taking out high defense targets. The skill starts with no critical strike chance and increases 0.02% per level, capping at level 750 by default.
  121.
  122. Axe Mastery: Axe Mastery inflicts more damage dependent on axe level. Axe mastery increases damage done from axes by 0.02 per level, capping at +4 bonus damage at level 200.
  123.
  124. Armor Impact: Armor Impact increases the amount of damage an axe does to armor. This skill starts out with a damage bonus of 1 to armor, increasing with 0.05% per level in axes. (This skill never caps out)
  125.
  126. Greater Impact: Greater Impact is a passive skill which in battle against mobs/players without armour, adds 2 extra damage (1 heart). Greater Impact also adds an extreme Knockback effect similar to Knockback II on a sword and makes an explosive sound when activated. Greater Impact has a 25% chance of being triggered each hit.
  127. Note that many aspects of skills can be changed through a server's configuration file, meaning values shown here may be incorrect in some cases.
  128.
  129. Swords - The Swords McMMO Skill adds abilities which allow you to add bleed effects to your attacks and counter the enemies hits.
  130.
  131. Abilities
  132.
  133. Serrated Strikes: Right click the mouse to activate the ability, allowing the attacking player to cause the bleed effect, the effect time is based on the swords level of the user.
  134.
  135. Passive Skills
  136.
  137. Bleed:
  138. Causes enemies to take damage every two seconds. If you apply bleed to a mob, it will bleed until the effect wears off or death, whichever comes first. The duration of the bleed is increased by your sword skill.
  139. At level 1000, Bleed will last for 6 seconds damaging 1/2 heart per second, for a total of 3 hearts. The chance to apply bleed is 0.1% for every skill level in Swords, with a max cap of 75% at level 750.
  140. Bleed normally lasts for two seconds, however if your Swords skill is above 750 it will last for one tick longer than normal.
  141. Bleeds can have their duration increased if another Bleed is applied.
  142. (e.g. If the player has Bleed with 3 ticks remaining and another 3-ticks Bleed was applied, Bleed will last for 6 ticks thereafter.)
  143.
  144. Counter Attack: A counter attack takes the damage done to you, and returns half to the attacking person or mob. It will not work if you have half a heart remaining. The chance to perform a counter attack depends on your Swords level, and increases by 0.05% per level.
  145. The Max Counter Attack Percentage is 30%.
  146.
  147. Acrobatics - skill that allows negation of fall damage through passive and active skills, Roll and Graceful Roll, as well as combat damage negation with the passive skill "Dodge".
  148.
  149. XP Gain
  150.
  151. XP is awarded for taking fall damage (120XP for each half heart), as well as successfully dodging. No experience is granted if the player dies. Without any damage negation, the player can fall a maximum of 23 blocks, resulting in 2280XP.
  152. 80XP is awarded for each heart of damage taken when a Roll or Graceful Roll has been executed, including the damage that would have been taken without the roll. As a result,
  153. 1280xp is the maximum experience obtainable with a Graceful Roll, at the height of 35 blocks.
  154. Feather Falling boots multiply the experience gained by two, regardless of the enchantment level.
  155. A successful dodge awards 120XP.
  156.
  157. Active Ability
  158.
  159. Graceful Roll: Graceful Roll is an active skill; it is activated by sneaking (Shift key by default) while falling. It is only effective if the sneaking is started 20 blocks or fewer before impact. Every level, the chance for a successful Graceful Roll is increased by 0.2%, with a cap of 100% at level 500. It can negate up to 14 damage points, or 7 hearts.
  160.
  161. Passive Abilities
  162.
  163. Roll: Rolling is a passive skill which allows the player to reduce fall damage. Every level, the chance for a successful roll increases by 0.1%, with a maximum chance of 100% at level 1000. As rolling is a passive skill, it will be activated simply by taking fall damage. When activated, it can negate up to 7 damage points, or 3.5 hearts.
  164.
  165. Dodge: Dodging is a passive skill that halves combat damage taken; this includes Creeper explosions, Skeleton arrows, etc. Its max chance is 20%, at level 800; each level its chance increased by 0.025%.I
  166.
  167.
  168. Mining
  169.
  170. Moving on to the last big category, here we are, at Mining. This is probably the longest one, because it has quite a bit of stuff to cover up, and also this is the main thing that people do on OPPrison.
  171.
  172. 1. Where do I start?
  173. You start at /warp a, slowly moving your way up the ranks, until you get to Z. When you get to Z, you'll need to Prestige if you want to rankup further, but I'll talk about that in a second.
  174. After you've mined enough in /warp a, you're probably gonna have the money you need to rankup. This is what you should be seeing if you have enough money to rankup. If you see this, then advance to the next rank by typing /rankup. After you ranked up, you should now be at rank B. In order to leave the A mine and go to the B mine, simply type /warp b. After you get to B, you repeat the process until you get to Z.
  175.
  176. 2. I've reached Z and I tried ranking up, but I can't. What do I do?
  177. If you've reached the Z rank and still want to rankup, you can't yet. In order to keep ranking up, you have to type /prestige twice. Once you prestige, you will be sent back to A rank, but the "P0" in your prefix will change to a "P1". That indicates you're now at Prestige 1. There are 20 Prestiges in total. There's one more catch, however. Everytime you prestige, the ranking up prices will increase, making it harder and harder to get to a high prestige. By prestiging you don't lose any items, you don't lose money, you only lose your Z rank, because you get sent back to A.
  178.
  179. 3. I've tried selling, but I can't. What's the problem?
  180. if you tried selling, you probably tried either the /sell all command,or going to the sign in the mine and right clicking it. Neither of these two work, but there's a version that works. To sell, simply type /sellall while being deep inside the mine. Notice that you don't have any space between "sell" and "all"! If you want selling to be done faster, your only option is buying a rank that is Dwarf or higher, because Comet doesn't have /sellall. Once you bought a rank, you can simply activate the option to automatically sell what you're mining by typing /as. Be careful, however, because if you mine at the first layer of the mine, you'll get less money than mining a bit deeper. The reason behind this is that when you mine at the first layer of the mine, the items get sold with the prices from the A mine.
  181.
  182. 4. What do I do with E-Tokens?
  183. E-Tokens are consumables that can be used to enchant your pickaxe at /warp enchant. Once there, you may simply go up to the signs and pick an enchant you want to upgrade/add on your pick, right clicking it with your pickaxe after you've decided which enchant you want. Be wise, however, because you can only have one custom enchant on your pickaxe! The list of the Custom Enchants, as follows: Explosive, Sphered, Excavation, Tile & Disk. Be careful to what you choose, because once you put one of them on your pickaxe, you can't get it off and you can't change it to another custom enchant. However, all the custom enchants are broken, and let me tell you why: if you try mining with them, you'll see that all of them have a kind of explosion when activated. When you get that explosion activated, you're supposed to get the blocks broken & money that it made, but you don't. You only get the blocks broken & money from the vanilla enchants.
  184. Now, regarding to where you actually get E-Tokens: There are 4 ways of getting them.
  185. 1. Using your kits - Besides the Starter kit, every other kit (Comet Kit, Dwarf Kit, Proteus Kit, Pandora Kit, Celestial Kit, Meso Kit, Miner Kit, Addict Kit & Freak Kit) gives you E-Tokens. So, the more kits you have, the more E-Tokens you'll get that day. You can redeem any kit by typing /kit, checking which one you want to redeem, and then typing /kit (Name of the Kit).
  186. 2. Mining - When you mine, you get 1 E-Token for every 1,000 Broken Blocks. You can use Nukes, Grenades & C4's to speed up the process of getting the 1,000 Broken Blocks for that one E-Token.
  187. 3. Buying them from other players - Players will often advertise their E-Token shops in chat. When someone does, the player will also specify the price he buys/sells tokens for, along with which plot is his shop located at. Pay attention to chat and you can't miss those.
  188. 4. Experience Levels - You can convert 20 Experience Levels into 1 E-Token by typing /te expexchange. You get Experience by mining, and you can use the command for an unlimited number of times, whenever you want.
  189.
  190. 5. What can I do with Experience Levels?
  191. If you mine a lot, you'll probably notice the big amount of Experience Levels you have on yourself right now. And you may thinking, "Okay, but what do I do with these levels?" Well you see, every 20 Experience Levels, you get 1 E-Token. You can type /te expexchange to convert the levels into E-Tokens. While it's not a rule that you only need to do it every 20 levels, you can do it whenever you want, with the only tip is that it has to be anywhere above 20 experience levels.
  192.
  193. 6.How can I fly? How can I get a Multiplier?
  194. Flying and Multipliers are both Donator perks. All the ranks have /fly, and all the ranks have a certain Multiplier. Low ranks have lower multipliers, like 200x or 300x, higher ranks have higher multipliers, like 9,000x or 15,000x. However, Meso has the highest multiplier out of all the ranks: 30,000x. If you want to be able to fly and have a higher multiplier, you can buy a rank on the Store.
  195.
  196. 7. What are C4, Nukes and Grenades?
  197. C4, Nukes and Grenades are all special kinds of bombs that you can use in the mines, as you make money off of them. While there are multiple kits that have C4 and Nukes, like Pandora, Celestiala and Meso - There's only one kit that has Nukes in it, and that's the Meso Kit. Everytime you redeem your Meso Kit you gain 10 Nukes.
  198.
  199. 8. What are kits and how do I unlock them?
  200. Kits are like packages that contain Tools, Armor and E-Tokens. Some of the kits even contain C4, Grenades, and Nukes, just like I mentioned above.
  201. There are three types of kits:
  202. 1. Default Kits: Default kits are the kits that you spawn with ever since you joined the server, and the kits that never go away. The only Default Kit available on OPPrison is the Starter Kit, which you can obtain every 3 days, by typing /kit Starter.
  203. 2. Ranking-Up Kits: Ranking-Up Kits are kits that you get from ranking up to a certain rank. There are 4 kits that you can unlock by ranking up to a certain rank. You'll have all 4 of them when you hit Z, but if you prestige and get sent back to A, you're gonna have to rankup again. The 4 kits are:
  204. Miner Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Miner.
  205. Addict Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Addict.
  206. Freak Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Freak.
  207. Crazy Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Crazy.
  208. 3. Donator Kits: Donator Kits are kits that you get from donating for a rank. Each rank has its own kit, and if you get a higher rank you also get the kit from the ranks under your current rank. There are 6 Donator Kits, which are:
  209. Comet Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Comet. Requires Comet Rank.
  210. Dwarf Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Dwarf. Requires Dwarf Rank.
  211. Proteus Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Proteus. Requires Proteus Rank.
  212. Pandora Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Pandora. Requires Pandora Rank.
  213. Celestial Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Celestial. Requires Celestial Rank.
  214. Meso Kit, which you can get by typing /kit Meso. Requires Meso Rank.
  215.
  216. 9. Can I check a player's balance?
  217. You can check a player's balance using /bal (IGN). You can even check your own balance using /bal. You can check the balance top, richest players, by using /baltop.
  218.
  219. 10. I've seen an NPC named "Black Market" in spawn, but I can't access it. How do I unlock it?
  220. At the moment, the Black Market cannot be accessed by anyone, as it is disabled.
  221.
  222. 11. Can I trade with other players?
  223. You can trade with other players by typing /trade (IGN). Be careful, though, because you cannot trade if your inventory is full, or if the other player's inventory is full.
  224.
  225. 12. Can I pay players?
  226. You are able to pay players by using the command /pay (IGN). However, you cannot pay offline players and you also cannot pay any amount less than 1 Million ($1,000,000).
  227.
  228. 13. Can I withdraw my money?
  229. You cannot withdraw your money, as there's no /withdraw command. If you want to store your money somewhere else, however, that's possible. You can make a Gang with the command /g create (Name) and you can deposit your money in the Gang's Bank Account by typing /g deposit (Amount). if you want to take the money back into your balance, simply type /g withdraw (Amount).
  230.
  231. 14. I keep checking my Mining McMMO Skill XP and it doesn't go up! What am I doing wrong?
  232. In order to level up your Mining McMMO Skill, you need XP. And to get that XP, you need to mine without having /autosell enabled. You must disable it and then mine, because that's the only way you'll earn XP.
  233. Here's everything you need to know about the Mining McMMO Skill:
  234.
  235. Mining is a skill focused around mining stone and ores. A notable perk of this skill is the higher potential yield from each ore, increased even further when using an active skill. Mining also adds new functionality to TNT, by allowing remote detonation. Mining is a parent skill of Smelting.
  236.
  237.
  238. Special Abilities
  239.
  240. Super Breaker (Speed + Triple Drop Chance): Super Breaker (activated by right-clicking with a pickaxe in hand), will temporarily add 5 enchantment levels to your pickaxe for a period of time (dependent on mining level). Example: If your pickaxe currently has Efficiency III, it will function as if it had Efficiency VIII.
  241. The duration of the skill starts at 2 seconds, increases by 1 second every 50 levels, with a maximum duration of 22 seconds at level 1000.
  242. Cool down time is 240 seconds by default unaffected by level. This ability also allows you to triple the chance of getting double drops / replacing double drop chance with triple drop chance for the duration of super breaker.
  243.
  244. Double Drops (Double the normal loot): Double Drops is a passive skill that allows the player to gain two items instead of the usual one when mining any naturally generated block found in the experience table below. The odds of this happening increase by 0.1% per level to a maximum of 100% at level 1000. It does not stack with the fortune enchantment, but does work with silk touch.
  245.
  246. Blast Mining (Bonuses to mining with TNT) [Locked until Mining Level 125]: Instead of using a pickaxe to break blocks, Blast Mining utilizes TNT to destroy and mine blocks. It is activated by using a flint & steel outside of the standard ignition range (shift and right-click the air between yourself and the TNT). Unlike ignition in vanilla, the TNT explodes instantly.
  247. With Blast Mining, the range at which the TNT ignites is extended. Higher Mining levels will yield more ores and less debris. By default, TNT drops 30% of what is blown up, and is increased further with each level.
  248.
  249. Bigger Bombs (Increases TNT explosion radius) [Locked until Mining Level 375]: The Bigger Bombs ability increases the explosive range of TNT ignited with Blast Mining. At level 375, it adds 2 to the radius of the explosion. At level 625, this bonus is increased to 3. And at level 875, the radius gains its maximum bonus of 4.
  250.
  251. Demolitions Expertise (Decreases damage from TNT explosions) [Locked until Mining Level 500]: Demolitions expertise is a passive ability that reduces the damage done by TNT with Blast Mining by 25%. At level 750, the damage is decreased by 50%. At level 1000, damage reduction is 100%. (Note that TNT ignited through standard means still causes harm, and only when ignited through Blast Mining is the damage negated.)
  252.
  253. Techniques
  254.
  255. Usage:
  256. The double drops ability does not stack with the fortune enchantment. To circumvent this, you can use a silk touch pickaxe to obtain the additional ores, place them back on the ground, and then mine with a fortune pickaxe for the maximum possible yield.
  257. When mining, try to leave any ore blocks behind and continue exploring. When the area is clear and the ores are more exposed, activate super breaker for a chance at triple drops.
  258. Leveling:
  259. Collect all the ores that you can find while mining, including coal.
  260. Due to its low hardness value, netherrack is among the fastest blocks to mine. Go to the nether with an Efficiency II diamond pickaxe (or better) and start mining all the netherrack for quick leveling (be wary of lava pockets).
  261. The Haste II buff (obtainable via potion or beacon), combined with an Efficiency V diamond pickaxe, allows stone to be instantly broken.
  262. Endstone gives the second highest exp for non-ore blocks. As such, mining in the End with an efficiency pickaxe is a very fast method to level this skill.
  263. End City blocks give high amounts of xp (200-250) and can be instantly mined with Haste II and Efficiency V. Wearing an elytra will allow you to mine without fear of falling to your death, and as end cities can be very large, this can be the fastest way to level Mining.

  326. And with that, this pretty much sums up my Guide Megathread for OPPrison. One of the reasons I created this Thread was that new players are confused about a lot of stuff on this Prison, and I decided to create a guide in which I went over all the information that may have ever caused any problems. It was a pleasure writing this, I had fun & overall enjoyed it.I hope you enjoyed reading this. Until next time, have fun & stay safe.
