Can we chill out a bit? I know frustration is high, but I think there are better ways to get people to improve.
we all know that we aren’t where we want to be, but we have to work together to get there. People left ToS with a pretty unanimous feeling that the raid seemed to get hostile at times. We can’t let that happen as it often gets people to tune out more than it “inspires” them to do better. We can be strict while maintaining positivity and enjoyment. People play together when they feel like they have each other’s backs and support not when they’re scared to fuck up. That’s when people play pure individually. We see this over and over

We all need to do a better job of asking for help. Instead of saying, “I need this done, someone step up” ask for it. Ask if anyone is interested or wants to move into a leadership role or take on a task. It’s not a demand it’s working together. We need to change the mentality that we currently have in our raid.
It’s driving people insane currently
It’s borderline toxic. People don’t want to speak up because they feel they can’t. People feel forced to do things instead of wanting to. People get yelled at if they play bad or make a mistake or suggest something
But it pushes those who do a ton crazy because they’re on the brink and can’t do anymore
And we are starting to see the snap right now

Yeah I’m salty. I’m salty because I hate feeling like I get berated or belittled for making a mistake or trying to cover for someone else’s. And never seeing any positivity towards me or others. That’s why I get upset. I’m not mad about people not playing welL, and never have been. My salt has always come after something suggested towards me
It ties back to the same thing
We need leaders to step up. We made the ask to get a ranged and melee lead. I’ll gladly start talking to people in both roles to see who might be interested and to get that going
We need positivity. We need to praise people for doing well
Positive feedback posts go INSANELY far

1. There is obiously a feeling of negativity, that is being spurred on
2. Our raid as a whole has not played well this tier

maybe its that outliers are much more pronounced this tier or that there ARE more outliers in regard to performance, but the past month has not been good. And like I said I don't believe that the negative environment people are feeling is the sole cause for the underperformance and vice versa
that being said I do agree, and I have heard from enough people after tonight that people are very aware of the environment
