  1. Chapter 7
  2.
  3. >A tickling sensation begins to build up on the tip of your nose.
  4. >It moves up to the bridge of your nose, and then between your eyes.
  5. >It then moves up to your forehead, and gently brushes off your hair.
  6. >The feeling curves down your face, right through your cheek.
  7. >It stops on your chin, holding up your head slightly.
  8. >You let it all happen; it would be extremely awkward if you suddenly opened you eyes right now.
  9. >And knowing who is doing this, you rather have a quiet morning.
  10. >Resisting the urge to laugh, you maintain a cool face.
  11.
  12. >She silently giggled to herself, studying his complexion.
  13. >For once, she had someone to call her own.
  14. >For once, she was being loved back.
  15. >It didn’t have to be a pony.
  16. >She lay next to him, still staring at his peaceful expression.
  17. >A smile formed on her face again.
  18. >After the nightmare, this was dream come true.
  19. >Maybe now she could be normal…
  20. >She sighed happily and slipped under his arms.
  21. >Turning his back over his stomach, Luna saw the morning rays coming through her open window.
  22. >Its thick, navy blue curtains shook lightly on the cool mountain winds.
  23. >The equally dark walls looked shades brighter; Luna never saw her room in this state.
  24. >She was usually asleep for her nightly duties.
  25. >Looking back to her window, she saw the endless expanse of the world lay through the small gateway.
  26. >Clusters of green mountains lay in the horizon, with large, fluffy clouds dressing the cobalt blue sky.
  27. >Small dots moves between the two colors, most likely birds.
  28. >And at that moment, a gust of refreshing air rushed into the room, shaking her once-ghastly mane.
  29. >She closed her eyes in sheer joy of discovery.
  30. >This was the Equestria she never got to see.
  31. >And at that moment, Anonymous’ arms wrapped around her, bringing her closer to him.
  32. >She felt the warm breath tickling the back of her head.
  33. >Individual strands flew forward, light azure mane slowly covering her view.
  34. >And for that moment, it was a good morning.
  35.
  36. >You can’t deny it.
  37. >She is so huggable.
  38. >The way her coat feels on your skin…
  39. >You inhale the thick scent of blueberry, with a hint of lavender.
  40. >This only makes you hug tighter.
  41. >You can hear her quiet squeak, and you can practically sense the heat her cheeks are radiating.
  42. >Eh, you’ll let her have it for a while.
  43. >And it’s not like it’s a crime to oversleep…
  44.
  45. >No Anon, this is bad.
  46. >Really, really bad.
  47. >She’s a flying, magical, talking pony.
  48. >And you are human.
  49. >Sentience isn’t a question here.
  50. >She’s nice to you and all…
  51. >But is it what you really want?
  52. >You never saw yourself with a girl, let alone an animal.
  53. >You were never such a fan with horses to start with.
  54. >But let’s put that thought aside.
  55. >You step under the warm shower, letting the thoughts wash over you like the blue fur all over your arms.
  56. >Should’ve known.
  57. >At least you’re glad it was accommodated to the princesses’ height.
  58. >After wiping you hair and face, you wrap a towel over your waist, and step out.
  59. “All yours.” You point backwards with a thumb.
  60. >Luna gets off her bed, and lazily makes her way to the bathroom.
  61. >She suddenly stops in front of you, eyeing your face.
  62. >”Anon, is there something bothering you?” She asks, her face soaked with worry.
  63. >You relax your facial muscles immediately, and open your eyes wide once.
  64. “What, me, bothered? Nah.”
  65. >Luna maintains her stare as she slowly cocks her head slightly, looking curiously.
  66. >She then smiles, and give you a small peck on the lips.
  67. >She happily jumps inside, and the bathroom door close.
  68. >You return to your frown, still burdened with your thoughts.
  69.
  70. >”I’m guessing everything is not going well.” Celestia speaks.
  71. >You slightly jolt at her sudden appearance, almost choking on your breakfast.
  72. “No, it’s not that, it’s just because-“
  73. >”She’s different?”
  74. “How’d you know?”
  75. >”I can tell Anonymous, it’s written all over your face.”
  76. “I’m assuming you had a lot of cases like this?”
  77. >”More than you and I would like.”
  78. >Celestia smiles brightly, before sipping on her morning tea.
  79. >”Maybe-“
  80. >”Goodmorning, everypony!” Luna giddily trots into the room.
  81. >”Maybe you can get a new tie!” Celestia realigns her words.
  82. >You can’t help but to smile at her antics.
  83. >Luna grabs a toast and heads off again.
  84. >”Where are you off to, sister?” Celestia calls out.
  85. >”I just have to see the mountains on the east, be back in about an hour.”
  86. >Celestia smiles again, her eyes closed.
  87. >”Have fun, sister.”
  88. >Luna nods eagerly, and flies off.
  89. >”Now.”
  90. >Your attention is back to Celestia.
  91. >”Maybe-“
  92. “I could just dump her and say I’m not interested?”
  93. >”N-no…” Celestia stares at the wall, her thousand-yard stare going off.
  94. >”Let’s not do that…”
  95. >You blow a raspberry and cross your arms.
  96. >Celestia has a playful look on her face;
  97. >”What if you saw her as what she is inside, not her physical makings?”
  98. “And I thought my plan was-“
  99. >”Anonymous, I’m being completely serious here.”
  100. >You look into her suddenly stoic expression, searching for flaws.
  101. “By god, you’re being completely serious.”
  102. >She rolls her eyes.
  103. >”Try, Anonymous. It just might work out.”
  104. “Celestia, I don’t think-“
  105. >”Try, for me- please?” She puts on the puppy eyes.
  106. >You groan audibly and murmur curses.
  107. “Fine. I’ll try.”
  108. >”Well, you better try all you can, because you know what will happen if she realizes…”
  109. >Both of you shudder, and chills run down both of your spines.
  110. >”Well then.” Celestia rises from her cushion. “I should get back to my duties.”
  111. >Her golden hoof points at you.
  112. >”And you too, Anonymous the human.”
  113. “I suppose.”
  114. >”Hey, I’d rather be courting a mare than to deal with officials any day.”
  115. >The look of horror you give Celestia is enough to get her laughing.
  116. >”I jest, Anon, I jest.”
  117. >Her laughs echo down the halls, as you try to wipe the image off your imagination.
  118. >You get off your seat, and begin your own plan of the day.
  119. >Which meant doti- you mean- dating Luna everywhere.
  120.
  121. >At her return, Luna seemed especially ecstatic.
  122. >”I think I know what we’re doing today, Anon.”
  123. “Shoot.”
  124. >”Let’s go on a picnic. I found a great spot on the mountain!”
  125. >Before you know it, a servant got a simple basket of food ready for you.
  126. >They even packed the red and white checkerboard ground blanket.
  127. >A quick peek inside the basket reveals several fruits, some collection of hay and grass and other vegetables.
  128. >You hesitantly hang the basket on your wrist, and follow Luna out of the castle.
  129. >You only stop when you realize you are on one of those extended balconies.
  130. >You can already see Luna flaring her wings, ready to take flight.
  131. “Uhhh Luna, one quick question.”
  132. >”Ask away, Anonymous.”
  133. “How am I supposed to get there?”
  134. >”That’s easy!”
  135. >She lowers her already fragile form, ushering you to get on.
  136. “I don’t think that is a good idea…”
  137. >She gives it a little shake, as if checking your statement.
  138. >”Perhaps…”
  139. “You know, I know this spot on the park-“
  140. >Your words are cut short by a certain force yanking you away.
  141. >You look down to see the blue aura covering your feet, and most importantly-
  142. >The city below you.
  143. >You panic right away, houses barely pinprick on your feet.
  144. >You scream and try to struggle, but her magic holds you still, as she moves toward a distant mountain.
  145. >And still yet, a creeping feeling tells you that this will be a common thing for now.
  146. >You land on a nice open clearing in the woods, short grass covering the grounds.
  147. >You lay down the ground blanket on the area illuminated the most, wanting to catch as much as sunlight as you can in the cold mountain tops.
  148. >Dead leaves crunch on your step, and provide as cushion for the blanket itself.
  149. >You loved autumn, with its orange-brown sights.
  150. >Luna hops around the place, looking curiously at the sights.
  151. >She then plops next to you, looking from her laying position.
  152. “Let’s see what we got…” You set the basket at the center.
  153. >Luna opens the lid and takes out a piece of bread, along with some hay and lettuce.
  154. >All with magic, of course.
  155. >And with the same magic, she splits the bread in two, and fixes herself a nice sandwich.
  156. >And as that happened, you were struggling on your own bread, trying desperately to recreate that effect with your hands.
  157. >”Do you need help?”
  158. “What me? Nah, I don’t-“
  159. >Luna takes it off your hand, and quickly cuts it in two.
  160. >She passes you a smile.
  161. >You return it, also fixing yourself a sandwich.
  162. >It is sad that you are confined to a vegetarian diet.
  163. >Perhaps you can- WHAT IS THIS?
  164. >You reach in and produce a plate of egg, to which your eyes begin to water.
  165. >It was perfect.
  166. >You put it between the assorted content, and begin eating yourself.
  167. >You find yourself staring into the open horizon, spotting Canterlot in the distance.
  168. >”It’s quite a sight, isn’t it?”
  169. “Y-yeah, it’s mesmerizing.”
  170. >”Really?” Luna replies.
  171. >You turn to the smug pony, looking at you strange.
  172. >”Is it the only one that is mesmerizing?”
  173. >She bats her eyes, with a certain gleam in her eyes.
  174. >Oh shit.
  175. >The amazing taste in your mouth is gone now.
  176. >You shallow hard, and put the sandwich down.
  177. >Luna is leaning on your now, her eyes still on yours.
  178. >”Well?”
  179. “Well, I uhm-“ You clear your throat, and cough once.
  180. >You slowly lean away, as she leans onto you.
  181. “I mean yeah, you’re a beautiful mare and all…” You almost choke on the word beautiful.
  182. >She giggles shyly, staring at you with her sultry look.
  183. >She closes her eyes, and you clench your close.
  184. >You know what is going to happen.
  185. >Her wet lips touch your dry ones, and at that moment- she pounces on you.
  186. >She forces her way through, as your back makes contact with the leaves below.
  187. >Your hands are helplessly spread on the cold ground, letting Luna have her way with you.
  188. >She is somewhat sloppy with this.
  189. >You can’t really blame her.
  190. >You suddenly (and only) come to attention when you feel a hoof on your pants.
  191. >You break the kiss, and back away slightly.
  192. “Luna, I think we’re rushing this.”
  193. >O-ho, the ace in the hole.
  194. >”R-really?”
  195. >Luna shrinks, looking disappointed.
  196. “Yeah, maybe we should get to know each other a little?”
  197. >”I-I suppose…”
  198. “We can still cuddle.”
  199. >This brings back some light to her face, as she wraps herself around you.
  200.
  201. “NO, NONONONONO”
  202. >”Anon, I think you’re taking this way too far.”
  203. “Oh, I’m taking this far, am I? What about her and her twitchy hooves?”
  204. >”Maybe you should calm down.”
  205. “Oh, look who’s telling me to calm down! I’m not some sex puppeteer who laughs at scene for the sake of national security!”
  206. >You sink back on your seat.
  207. “I don’t- I can’t love Luna, Celestia, I can’t.”
  208. >The solar princess sighs, looking down on her dinner.
  209. >”I’ll try to work something out, then.”
  210. >You play with your food again, trying to distract yourself.
  211. >So distracted, you don’t even notice the tall pony behind you.
