How do you Speedrun City folk?
Go fast!
but....Strimmer you cannot beat this game how do you speedrun it?
do something fast it's really not that hard to understand in this run i catch all the fish and obtain the golden rod as fast as possible
why don't you do july start like in the gamecube animal crossing games?
they're are no "peak times" but i use septemeber since you can get mostly everything you'd need if i can get out of this and get only essential fish and get the rest at other times it's a good run a lot of fish appear in september in this game so i have a high standard on this segment specifically
why august 15/16th at 11:50PM? it gets things like pond fish/jellyfish out of the way.
why didn't you get a fish you could have gotten it?
depending on time i get all the key fish in that month i move on to the next one to get that one more easily.
what about fossil fish it's not raining? only the gamecube games this doesn't work other ac titles you can get it in the snow this makes getting fossil fish more consistant since on certain days it's nearly a high chance to snow like christmas is one of those days it says january but i promise you it's december.

what's WR?
My PB i have WR and it's a load of garbage! anyone with brains should know that a WR doesn't mean shit no matter who and how good you are because it can always be beaten again new tricks and skips get found. even in games like SM64 SMB1 have Potential
What's your goal?
Sub 4 sub 3 my desired time is under 3:30 or sub 3 hours if i get sub 3 hours i don't think this game will have a better time tbf. and i really don't care i just want more people to try running this shitfest of a category even though the RNG can be a piece of Poop but the category is way more relaxing then any other Golden Rod run look at e+ the WR for golden rod there is dog shit honestly it should just be beaten already pretty sure zoekay probably has a WR secretly but hasn't submitted yet he's done this in the past as a joke to wait for someone to PB but i 100% guarantee he doesn't have a time for this game at all and he doesn't plan to either.

who else runs this category? a Mystery Dungeon runner known as HGfin who is really good at that game actually has a decent shot at beating me but he just needs to learn the fish times and months they can appear better he gets that and he can actually beat me easy like super easy. i highly recommend searching his channel and giving the dude a follow he's really skilled in mystery dungeon search: HGfin in google or twitch his name should come right up.

why don't you run ACGC? i really don't care for it i find the run something i could WR in if i grinded it enough but i did a lot of work for the JPN gamecube/n64 titles i really don't give much of a flying fuck about that game. and quite frankly i don't like the faces other then BrianMP16 and Beefwellington since A they better then anyone else right now that streams speedruns of the game and i can't compete with any of them at all just cause i feel it's a waste of time doing what i don't want to do ya know?
