Plot 1. A Nice Idea.
Nice is not looking nice for the people inside it. Forced to slave away, caught in the crossfire of a brutal war nobody asked for. Evry year, sometimes every month, people slave away and die in Nice, ants in a game between 2 squabbling boys. The French and the Italians regard it as a game of Chess. When they think of the civilians, their soldiers, they only think of pawns on their board.
No more, no less.
But they are humans. The world has lost all of its morals. The world has gone mad. God has not saved us yet. God wont save the people of Nice. Only we can. While the French and the Italians may fight over their choices, fight their worthless battles, fight for their corruption and greed, us Corsicans have seen what destruction looks like. We have been in their position.
And we will not allow them to suffer.
We will move into Nice, the ruined city, at dawn. The Italians stationed there are friendly with us. If not, we will designate 300 gold to make them friendly. We will take the battlements, and raise the flag of Corsica. With the soldiers moving into Nice, we will secure both borders. And we will not let the French, nor the Italians get to it. (1 AP, 700 gold)
While this happens, the King makes a speech.
"Citizens of the Kingdom of the Isles, on this day we mark a transition. For hundreds of years, the Kingdom stood as the crowning achievement of the Mediterranean Sea, the Jewel. But there were those that would set us up against one another, and to split our nation. We took up arms against one nation, to another, to preserve our way of life. In doing so, we never suspected the murderous ways of the so called "Civilised world"
When Elizabeth Trastámara conspired to take down our beloved nation, and succeeded in taking down the parliament, and our King, all seemed lost. But we bounced back! And now, after so many decades of being tossed around, we are a stronger nation! A more tied nation! And now that our brothers from Nice suffer, do we sit?
We will save them! And to all who would think of harming them, we will reply with force.
In order to insure our safety and stability, the Kingdom of the Isles will be reorganized into the first Empire of the Isles, to insure a safe and secure society!
The Empire shall rise! (Use 1 AP here, and rest of gold)

RESULT: Nice is taken and secured by Corsican troops, Corsica is reorganized into the Empire of the Isles (using Tuscany as civ)
