Tundra civ - The World

Over 11 centuries have passed since the last white tribe fled far to the north, into the cold edges of the tundra, where no other race could survive. The legends from before history was first written say our race once ruled the world, but we gradually fell in power and numbers, our homelands were overwhelmed by the dark races, our cities were destroyed and our people slaughtered. The world fell into darkness, those last tribesmen who fled north eventually made the caves of the cold mountains their home.
From there over the centuries our people survived, multiplied, expanded, invented, fought and conquered.
The four main races:
-The Whites - Our people, fair of skin, hair and eye colour, united in the White Republic, the greatest nation in the world, following the religion of Oofnar and Ayms, Ancestral Elementalism
-The Chinks - An advanced sea-faring people,short, with slanty eyes and almost yellowish skin, the chinks have consistently been friends of the white race and we've learned much from each other over the centuries. The chinks are industrious and academic, many live in our republic as equal citizens, most live in the Sunset Alliance.
-The Kaichou - Similar in features to the chinks, the Kaichou are a highly hierarchic and militaristic society that worships the mysterious "God-Emperor" of the Greater Kaichou Empire. The Kaichou are strong both on land and at sea and are technologically advanced, second only to us in most fields.
-The Pajit - brown of skin, for much of recorded history the Pajit Empire was the strongest nation in the world, but fell into decadence. Despite a reinvigoration under Emperor Bahmamu and his heirs, their Empire was eventually destroyed by the Occidental Axis. More recently, the White Republic exiled all pajit from Aymsland and this race now forms the backbone of the New Pajit Union, centered in Eyerdar.

Today our Republic rules much of the world and its population.  Four large continents exist on our planet
Aymsland - named after the Prophet Ayms, this continent is the home continent on which the four colonial powers developed initially.
Eyerdar - named after the first Admiral and one of our greatest explorers, this large continent is home to several races and tribes, by modern times all subjugated by colonial nations.
Veita - Various aboriginal darkskin tribes inhabited this continent and its islands, now colonised by white and kaichou settlers.
Ocras - Uninhabited at the time our sailors discovered it, this is the smallest continent of all, but perhaps the most prosperous - unburdened by wars and conflicts and rich in natural resources
While our people are united by a common history, religion and blood, different Regions have developed in different ways, defining distinct cultures within our race.
1.The Northlands -At the cold edge of the tundra, the Northlands are well developed in terms of industry, culture and science, but the climate limits agriculture to its southern edges.Three important cities can be found here - Coasttown, home of the Admiralty and our largest military shipyards; Lakeside, "The Jewel of the North" - a center of culture and science;Cavehome - an underground city, home to the Grand Temple of Terra and its catacombs, this city is built in the great caverns in which our ancestors sought refuge and from which our race began anew. The Northmen believe in "Quality over quantity", believing themselves to be in a way the whitest of all.
2.The Corelands - Occupying fertile and temperate grasslands and forests, our capital Region has a strong and diverse economy. Centerhold is our nation's great capital, the largest city in the world - a center of culture and technological development, home to the headquarters of most of our institutions; The other cities and towns in the Corelands are well-developed industrial centers and the territory inbetween is littered with villages and farmlands wherever the forests have been cut down. The people of the Corelands believe their home Region is the center of the world, setting the trends for all else to follow.
