- Extended notes, Asymmetric Pokémon Battling, Battle Royal Mode:
- Players do not get a mullagan if they fail to get a basic pokemon, when joining a battle.
- Prizes are converted into Life Tokens. The exact number of Life Tokens can vary.
- Life Tokens are also used in regular Asymmetric Battling.
- Being attacked when lacking pokemon results in losing a life token. This is a measure of the duel disk protecting you.
- A life token is drawn from the life force or spirit energy of the duelist. There is *always* a cost, to these sorts of things.
- However, losing all life tokens does not mean death, but rather, blacking out, or being too drained to battle. However, in certain cases, this may lead directly to death.
- The cost to one's spirit energy is greatly lessened in card vs card battles, meaning that a loss of six tokens, the max, may be confused with typical exhaustion from swinging a metal weight on your arm around.
- For some reason, Spirit Energy is not expended in certain locations...
