so Rance becomes the new 魔王 at the end of the first part, 15 years pass, and then you play as one of his kids who has to go and kill him. It's like a silent protagonist thing, so you can choose your character name and you never say anything and lots of choices and stuff. but it's the most boring thing ever written the plot is like "hi friend join my party" and "ooh look item #3 that we need just need to kill boss #3 and we get it" over and over again for 20 hours
