At major update on 25 March, the brave troops of the League Defense Force saw off multiple attacks from the Brotherhood of Malice and their mercenary friends. In the course of the battle, the doughboys whipped the raiders' hides through and through, routing them at every turn, mobilizing ten updaters on forty minutes' notice and easily predicting the enemy's movements throughout the night. In another display of stunning superiority, the LDF and our valiant independent and defender allies walloped the rapscallions and kept their grubby meathooks off of three regions in total. Yes, boys and girls, the work is never done here at the League, but we relish every victorious night practicing our national pastime: reminding the brutes that terrorizing innocent regions doesn't pay.

It is true that some would question the ethicality of defending a location so maligned and disdained as Connecticut. Their only exports are Vinny, Joe Lieberman, and Handsome Dan the Bulldog. However, defenders make no distinction between worthy regions and unworthy regions, although if we were to, Connecticut would undoubtedly fall into the latter category. The point is, we defend wherever we can. Tonight, the LDF made up the largest contingent of Libcord (For Your Protection) updaters by far, and guaranteed victory where it might otherwise have slipped through our fingers. In a masterstroke of wartime intelligence, LibCom expertly predicted the destinations of the enemy forces, and maneuvered our brave battalions accordingly to stop their nefarious schemes.

We are proud to have done our solemn duty tonight in the course of defending the defenseless, and we are also delighted to make note of the participation of One Small Island (Raziel), who posted a two-second chase time tonight and took the fight directly to the blighters, after they so callously unseated them as the longest-serving Delegate of Warzone Sandbox, and indeed any Warzone. We are happy to assist in the taking of sweet revenge against a most deserving foe.

In the meantime, the war effort continues. Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our regions and our people, and neither do we. But we will not be misunderestimated. We will continue winning, and we will stay winning. And we will win every night, if we must, so long as the threat posed by the raider menace persists.
