First, you have to edit the code within BBCODE. The preview is NOT ACCURATE to how the final will look, so be sure to check frequently for changes.

Replace MEMBERGROUP COLOR with the color that represents the membergroup your character is in.

Note: This is in both the top and the bottom of the code, so be sure to get both areas! DO NOT REPLACE ANY OTHER COLORS, ONLY THESE TWO.

Any other size, and it will end up breaking the template, so PLEASE be sure to get the right size. If you need help, you're free to ask a staff member for assistance in your image's size. IT'S RECOMMENDED YOU USE A PNG OR A GIF, AS JPGS ARE VERY LOW IN QUALITY.

The [nospaces] part of the code is there in order to allow for the spacing that you see in the code, so it's easy to edit rather than being a large mishmash of code that's difficult to sift through. You may remove it, but do remember that means any line breaks will be autoconverted, and that can break the template. Should you want to use a linebreak without removing [nospaces], [break] works. [break][break] acts like a paragraph separator. If you need a line, use [hr]. You're also free to add other divs within in order to edit text size should you so wish, but be careful about closing them off in case of breaking the template.

The boxes autoscroll, but the smaller sections (starting with "PRONOUNS") do not, so keep that in mind. Generally it's advised to keep these sections short.

You are free to slightly modify the template as you wish so long as it keeps the essentials (that is, every section is still in place). If you're missing a section, we will notice.


WHAT EACH SECTION MEANS:

CHARACTER NAME - Replace this with your character's full name.

PRONOUNS: Your character's pronouns (please use canon ones, thank you)
AGE: Your character's age in years (put ??? if you don't know)
FANDOM: What series your character comes from
SEXUALITY: Your character's sexuality (heterosexual, homosexual, etc. please keep this to one word)
SECTION: For the section that your character lives in (Nexus, Whitegrove, Arus, Stomend, Tuuleen, Drifters)

ALIAS: What you, the player, go by (please make this relatively short and consistent, and do not go under different aliases)
PLAYER PRONOUNS: Your pronouns
PLAYER AGE: Your age, in years (this is to make sure you meet the boards.net TOS. we can understand you may be uncomfortable with handing out this information but it is necessary to keep us out of trouble)
PLAYER EXPERIENCE EXPERIENCE: How many years you've been roleplaying for
TIMEZONE: Standard Time, please include the number away from GMT (e.g. I'm in PST, so I'm GMT -8)

PLAYED BY ALIAS - Replace Alias with what you go by.


When you post your app, please be sure to title it your CHARACTER'S NAME. Do not title it anything else. If it is a work in progress, stick a [wip] in the title. Once you've completed your application, alert the staff by bumping the thread.
