Run for BRAIIIINNNNSSSS

Alexithymiaa: -Steph was walking through the park with a mega phone in her hand preparing to kick off the zombie run. The park was roped off a sectioned path that led through the paarking long, along the river, through the trees, over the bridge and back. Shivering aand freezing her ass off because she hadn't really considered the fact that if she put make up on her arms and legs that she couldn't cover them and then would be cold, she headed toward the front of the crowd of people, speaking into the mega phone. "If everyone who is running could please check in before entering the running area, that would be great." // Noah was standing with his hands in his pockets, pretty pleased with the make up job Tae had done on him. He'd already checked himself in at the table before walking in and now was just waiting for the run to start. // Brad was not about that running life so he was busy checking out the vendors who had come out to sell merch and food. Walking over to a booth that was set up, he browsed the Halloween themed decor they were selling, inspecting a few of the intricately carved pumpkins that were for sale.-
Covet: Felix was playing with the number that was pinned to his shirt, because he had nothing else to do so he was fidgeting. Once Steph finished her announcement he walked over to her, "Time to run for Brains yet?"// Tae was just finishing getting herself signed in and was getting her number on as she walked over to where Noah was at. "Why is it so cold?" She asked with a shiver. // Kelsey was pushing the Stroller around with Connor in it, because he was saving his energy. "Momma where is Dad at?" Kelsey looked down at him over the visor of the stroller that was pulled back. "I'm sure he's looking for something to eat. " // Cadence had Trick all bundled up in his stroller and had the dogs with her so they could get some exercise too. Cadence herself had her make up on but her clothes were pretty basic torn up stuff.
Alexithymiaa: -Steph turned to look at Felix as he came over, giving him aa smile. "Almost time for brains. Who knows, maybe you'll catch some." She gave him a playful nudge and turned to look at their turn out, pretty proud of the amount of money they would be raising for the evening. "Do you see Cadence?" // Noah raised his brows and looked down at Tae in her shorts and t-shirt, rolling his eyes. "Because it's October and you're not dressed for October?" He asked sarcastically before chiming in again. "Once we start running you'll warm up." // Pulling his wallet out of his pocket, Brad handed over a few bills to pay for a set of glow necklaces and bracelets, taking them and beginning to crack them to activate the glowness as he headed back in the direction of the roped path. "Kels!" He called out, trying to wave her over to the side with the glow stuff.-
Covet: "Rude" Felix was looking around the place and saw Cadence walking with her stroller, and pointed her out. "There I think... It's hard to tell with the make up." // "Yeah okay, if you say so." Tae said because clearly she didn't know," Can we get going soon? Before I freeze to death." // "I see him, he's waving something around." Kelsey said. Connor looked over, "That's not food, what does he have?" // Cadence figured Steph would be towards the front running this shit so she walked up there and looked at her and Felix both, "You guys look good, I'm digging the make up."
Alexithymiaa: "You're fine." She said dismissively, leaaning to one side to look around people until she spotted Cadence walking over to them. "You know how I feel about special effects make up. You look awesome too. Are you guys ready?" She asked, bringing the mega phone back up to her mouth. "Thank you all for coming. If everyone could please line up, we can kick this off." She pause, waiting for people to stop fucking around. "Make sure to keep your fellow zombies safe by being careful where your running and not pushing in areas of congestion. Follow the roped off path through the park and if you feel you need to stop for any reason, be sure to step out of the way of oncoming zombie traffic." She stuck the mega phone up into the air, sounding the siren to begin and moving out of the way to let people run ahead of them. // "You obviously know nothing about running. Look, we're starting." He said as he listened to Steph's brief rules before hearing the signal to begin. Breaking into a very slow jog because the first bit was so clustered with people, he felt like he was just jogging in place. // Brad leaned over to pass Kelsey and Connor the glowing accessories. "So you stand out in the crowd. Not that you don't already." He grinned at them, staying on his side of the rope so he didnt get trampled by zombies starting their runs.-
Covet: "I know I am." Felix said with a smug look then looked at himself. "Yeah I feel awesome too." He got himself lined up to start running once the signal was given. // Tae heard the signal and started off with Noah, able to keep up for now because there was a crowd of people and everyone wsa moving slow. "This isn't too bad." // "Oh thank you, These are perfect." Kelsey said as she put hers on. Connor took his glowy things and did his best to get them on, then climbed out of the stroller so he could run. // Cadence started up at steady pace since they were near the beggining of the line.
Alexithymiaa: -Hanging the megaphone on the starting pole, she ducked and weaved her way through people to make her way back toward Cadence and Felix, jogging alongside them. "I need to warm up. It's freezing. So you're coming to our party on Thursday, right?" She asked Cadence. // Noah picked up the pace just a little as people strarted to spread out, following the path. "Because we're not actually going anywhere yet and we literally just started. Tell me how you feel in ten minutes." He snickered, rubbing at his face and smearing some fake blood. // "You're welcome. Do you want me to take the stroller?" He asked, not thinking that Connor would get tired halfway throough which was inevitable.-
Covet: "Yeah, you have to come we need to have a great party. It's a mandatory thing." Felix said keeping pace, "You wouldn't need to if you wore more something warmer." // "Ugh, fine." She said as she continued along, trying to keep pace with Noah. "Has it been ten minutes yet? She asked only a few minutes later.// Kelsey looked at it then gave a nod, "Sure, I'll call you once he decides he's done and you can come get us." // Cadence raised an eyebrow, "You're having a party? Little late notice isn't it?"
Alexithymiaa: "But I put make up on my arms and legs. How can I dress warmer if I have make up on?" She retorted, keeping her arms tucked tightly to her sides. "Yeah well... Felix decided he wanted another Halloween party to go to and that somehow turned into us throwing a party on Thursday. I have already started buying snacks and drinks so it'll be worth it. Please come." // "You;ve been running for literally like four minutes." Noah shot back, a little annoyed that she was so bad at this even though he kind of saw this coming. "If you need to sit out, I can run the rest of it by myself. It's fine." // Brad ducked under the rope to take the stroller from her, collapsing it a bit to make it easier to manuever through the crowds of people on the sides. "Good. Go raise some money for... stuff." He said, unsure of what charity they were raising money for even though AGD is always about the animals.-
Covet: Felix scoffed, "Yeah but you could have kept something warm on until you started running to warm up." Felix said, "I tried to get her to have someone else throw it, but then she said all the parties art hourplace have sucked, so we're gonna fix that....Maybe." He said happily running along. // Tae shook her head, "No I've got this. I can push on for a little longer. I don't want to be the first person out." She said then watched some little five year old go running past them, and groaned louder. // Kelsey hollared up to Connor, "Hey, don't get too far ahead the other zombies might eat you!" // Cadence nodded her head, "Trick and I can make an appearance, actually that works, because I'm going to be taking off next week to go to New Jersey to spend our anniversary together, The in-laws said they'd watch the baby for us."

Alexithymiaa: "But it would have ruined the make up." She whined at him, keeping a good pace with the two of them, her breathing starting to catch up with her. "Wait, you're going to be in Jersey for Halloween? I don't get to see Trick's first Halloween?" SHe asked, pouting a bit, genuinely disappointed. // "You're probably going to be the first person out regardless if you run for another five minutes or not." He said with a laugh, flicking his hair out of his eyes. "Look, even that kid is doing better than you are." // Brad smirked at Connor being all excited about the zombie run, wheeling the stroller over to a food vendor to buy him a candy apple for when they finished.-
Covet: "Women... I swear." Felix said shaking his head. // Tae reached out to smack Noah, "Shut up! I'm trying!" She said then pouted, "I don't want to be the last person, how about when I get tired you give me a piggy back ride?" // Kelsey started to pick up her pace to catch up with Connor. // Cadence frowned, "We're leaving wednesday morning, then going to be up there through the weekend. I'll still make the dance though. I didn't want Remy to miss out on his first Halloween and first anniversary stuff. I'm sorry." She said.
Alexithymiaa: "Alright..." She gave in, feeling only a little guilty that she didnt care about Remy missing it because selfish over Trick. She sucked in a deep breath, looking to Felix. "Do you think it would be okay if I had a few drinks at our party?" // "But then how am I supposed to run if I have to carry you?" He shot back, picking up his pace a little as he had even more space, rounding into the trees.-
Covet: Fellix nodded his head, "Sure, it's not like you're going anywhere, if you get drunk your bathroom is close as is your bed." He told her with a smile.// "I have faith in you, you can do it." Tae said then put her hand up, "Hang on wait, I need a break before we go into the trees." // Cadence gave her a nudge, "I definitely need you to come with me next monday to the mall though, Hot topic is having a jack skellington photo thing going on. I think he needs a pic with one of his favorite aunt."

Alexithymiaa: "I know, I wasn't worried about that. I just didn't want you to feel weird." She said to him, reaching out to give his hand a squeeze before directing her attention to Cadence. "I am all for Halloween photo ops. I was kind of thinking of doing a Halloween photoshoot as an excuse to do cool make up, and then I sort of just... didn't do it. A Jack picture with my favorite nephew would be awesome." She smiled, struggling to keep steady breathing now that they'd been running for a while. // "Oh come on..." He whined, slowing his pace, but not stopping altogether. "Can't you make it to the other side of the woods?" He asked sharply.-
Covet: "I'll be alright, but thank you for the consideration." He said giving her hand a squeeze back. "I could help out if you want. I'll happily free up some space for you guys."// "No.. Just a second. I'll be good after that." She said finding a something to sit on for a second." See if you gave me a piggy back we could still be going." // "If you want to do a make up shoot or have the time for it, We can totally do that too. I think it'd be cute to have pics with Trick and everyone." Cadence said with a grin.
Alexithymiaa: "I don't even know when we would have the time to do it. I'd love to, but it just seems to be kind of tight on time right now." She breathed sharply, the sound of her heart thundering in her ears. // Noah rolled his eyes and finally slowed to a stop, turning back to step out of the rope and out of everyone's way. "If I gave you a piggy back ride I wouldnt be able to run either. And then I'd probably be exhausted and wouldn't be able to finish."-

Covet: "Well, maybe you guys could do it after halloween? I doubt any of you would have an issue with that." Felix said looking over at Steph, "You good or do we need a break?" // Tae looked at him pouting, waiting until he got past the rope, before getting up, "Fine, then lets keep going. I'll just walk of I get tired." // Cadence laughed, "I'm not going to complain about celebrating halloween after halloween. Suck it Christmas lovers."
Alexithymiaa: "Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, but I love Halloween more." She laughed, nodding her head. "I'm game for doing it after Halloween too. Awesome." She took another deep breath, feeling the faintest bit of lightheadedness coming on. "I'm okay for another few minutes before we take a break." // "Now you tell me." He said, ducking back underneath the rope and into the running lane. "Remember when you told your brother you would be running this? That was funny." He said as he cracked up, hardly breaking a sweat at this point.-
Covet: "Good, just let me know when you girls want to do it." Felix said then nodded his head, " Okay, don't push it though." // "Shut up, why do you have to be so mean. I know I suck, but you don't have to point it out all the time." She said annoyed now as she started to put a little more effort into it. // "It could be halloween all year long and I'd be okay with that." Cadence said reaching into the stroller for a bottle of water for herself.
Alexithymiaa: "I completely agree." She said between breaths, beginning to feel the tips of her fingers tingling. The edges of her vision started to go dark, sticking her hand out quickly for the rope and stepping off to the side. "Wait." She said to them, just standing on the side so her heart could catch up. // "I'm not being mean. I'm pushing you to be your best self." He said with his head held high, continuing on the path. "What, am I supposed to just let you quit and give up?"-
Covet: "Dammit Steph.. I said don't push it.. this would be pushing it." Felix said making sure she didn't fall over. // Cadence took the water bottle she had and handed it out to Felix for Steph. "Are we going to have to take Trick out and push you in the stroller?" // "You could be nicer about it though. Supportive or something?" She said as she kept running, then a few feet later she stopped, "Fuck this, I'm going to go get some hot chocolate and tacos, Come find me near the taco truck when you'e done." She said then booked it off path under the ropes, heading back to the starting area.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm fine." She said, gently closing her eyes as she started to catch her breath, almost instantly feeling a little better. "Just needed a little break. No big deal." She said as she tried to write it off because she had unfortunately grown used to the fact that her heart sucks. // "Supportive about pushing you?" He asked in question as she took off, throwing his hands up into the air and shaking his head. "Fine. Be that way." He said, turning to continue his journey on the run.-
Covet: "Yeah no.. we're done for the night. I love you but I'm not going to let you keep going when you're still having a hard time catching your breath. We can walk it, but no more running." Felix told her. // Cadence looked at them, "You can push Trick if you want, that way you won't fall over." She offered, starting to feel a little exhausted herself, but she wrote it off as mom tiredness.
Alexithymiaa: "But it's a zombie RUN. And I'm hosting it. I can't just not run the zombie run." She said with a pout, her eyes opening now that she'd started to feel better. "Yeah, I'll push Trick the rest of the way. It'll be fine."-
