- i don't use pronouns. this is NOT the same as using they/them. do not use they/them or any pronouns for me.
- here's example sentences to help.
- You should give those bags back to Bluffy; those belong to that person, and Bluffy will need it for later.
- I'm impressed with how Drifter holds up, after carrying such a heavy backpack around.
- I guess that friend must be pretty proud of -self for that.
- alternative to the third sentence: I guess that friend must be pretty proud about that.
- i understand that some phrases are tricky to cut the usage of 'themself'--please use your own judgment and try if you can to work around that phrasing
- ✔ yes, it's okay to use "you" and "yourself" when directly addressing me.
- this no-pronouns thing only affects sentences where you would be using pronouns like she/he/they/etc.
- ✔ it's also okay to type/talk as though you skip the pronoun entirely
- [when typing, you may use - in place, as in the third example sentence. you can use any single symbol you'd like, if you really wanted, but - is just easiest to type?]
- if ALL ELSE FAILS and you can't use anything else [in this case, maybe you're saying a short two-word phrase], then you can use 'themself'.
- if you're speaking about me, nothing is pronounced differently than normal, although it might feel easy to resort to using they/them--please try NOT to do this! when in doubt, just use my name in place of pronouns!
- it's ok to mess up, as long as you apologize and try not to use they/them, she/her he/him etc for me.
- it's ok to sound redundant, don't be afraid of "overusing" my name, it tells me you're trying to respect this! i'm usually very aware of it, so thank you
- when it comes to gendered titles i prefer neutral, then masculine titles over feminine ones, though my honorific is Mx.
- this seems to be hard for people to adapt to, but as long as i see you trying to not use pronouns for me, i'll be happy. thanks...!
