  1. VENEZUELA - DICTATORSHIP AND SOCIALISM
  2. http://i.imgur.com/WtihGN8.jpg
  3.
  4. "The media is downplaying, and in most cases ignoring, the extreme nature of the crisis currently going on in socialist Venezuela under the Maduro regime. Most of the cries for help are from people begging the international media to cover their plight.
  5.
  6. Some of the video and photography are stunning as millions of people take to the streets to protest a collapsing economy and food shortages while being met with tanks, guns and rogue militias hired by the government." ~ The Conservative Treehouse, April 21, 2017

  9. TIME FOR SOME PERSPECTIVE OF THE RECENT EVENTS IN VENEZUELA
  10.
  11. "As the once-wealthy oil power descends into a chaos of hunger and crime, however, it remained far from clear whether the increasingly despondent population will view the court’s move as a genuine turning point or just another step in the nation’s bottoming out toward hopelessness." ~ Bloomberg, March 30, 2017

  13. ==============================================
  14. "On March 29, the Supreme Court of Venezuela dissolved the country's elected legislature, allowing Venezuela's top court to write future laws. The court is filled with allies of Venezuela's socialist president, Nicolas Maduro, while the legislature is dominated by Maduro's opponents, and the court's ruling was seen as the latest step on Venezuela's descent into a full-fledged dictatorship. But following international outcry—as well as the appearance of cracks within Maduro's own party—the court reversed itself just a few days later, on April 1." ~ Reason Magazine, April 4, 2017

  17. From Bikers of America
  18.
  19. Russia is about to gain control of a U.S. OIL company because Venezuela is collapsing ~ Actually, it has already collapsed!
  20.
  21. Their citizens are forced to eat whatever they can find :'( Be it their pets or whatever. They are starving and American Lames Stream Media has not reported ANY of this! The pics I see coming from other sources are horrible :'( ~ SOCIALISM ONLY WORKS FOR THOSE IN CHARGE!
  22.
  23. So thanks to the constant incompetence of communists everywhere, but especially in Venezuela, Putin is going to get his grubby little KGB fingers on a U.S. oil company.
  24.
  25. Here’s what’s happening.
  26.
  27. Rosneft, a Russian government-owned company, gave a loan to CITGO.
  28.
  29. But Petróleos de Venezuela, Venezuela’s state-owned oil company, might default on a loan that used 49.9% of Citgo’s shares as collateral.
  30.
  31. If Venezuela’s economic crisis continues and the company defaults, Menendez said Rosneft may take control of the shares, which would combine with the Russian company’s other interests in the company to give it majority control.
  32.
  33. Dem. Senator Menendez has asked the White House to monitor the loan, and intercede to keep critical elements of our infrastructure from being owned by the Kremlin. Aside from the White House itself, of course.
  34.
  35. “Given Russia’s interference in the U.S. election and ongoing meddling in European elections, not to mention its habit of invading and bullying its neighbors, the last thing the United States should be doing is handing the Kremlin a significant ownership share in a major U.S. energy supplier,” Menendez said in a statement.
  36.
  37. “This could leave Rosneft, a Russian company controlled by oligarchs with close ties to [Russian President] Vladimir Putin, in control of critical energy infrastructure in the United States,” Menendez told Mnuchin in a letter.
  38.
  39. Well shoot. That ain’t no good. Though I have to say that Citgo is consistently the cheaper gas to buy…
  40.
  41. Here’s a good report about it: (GO TO ARTICLE FOR VIDEO)

  43. ==============================================
  44. "Senators are alarmed about the national security implications of Russia acquiring a significant ownership share in an oil company whose terminals span 20 states across the nation.
  45.
  46. In a letter to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, who is chairman of the inter-agency on Foreign Investment in the United States, Sens. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Bill Cassidy (R-La.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) say he needs to be prepared to protect U.S. energy infrastructure should Rosneft carry through with seizing control of CITGO Petroleum Corporation’s Venezuelan parent company, state-owned Petroleos de Venezuela S.A." ~ PJ Media, April 11, 2017

  49. "Embattled Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced plans Monday to expand the number of civilians involved in armed militias as tensions in the crisis-wracked South American nation continued to rise.
  50.
  51. Maduro said he hopes to expand the number of civilians involved in the Bolivarian militias created by the late Hugo Chavez to 500,000, up from the current 100,000, and provide each member with a gun." ~ Business Insider, April 18, 2017

  54. This video was shared by a friend of mine here on FB of Venezuelan military beating up on civilians. They are brutal animals. WARNING: Video is graphic.

  57. The reality of socialism is showing it's very sad and deplorable face in Venezuela!
  58. May the rest of the world take note!
  59. God help the innocent there.
  60. "The turnout was massive. But you’d never be able to tell from the information published by Venezuelan official sources – including the vice-president, Telesur, and VTV – that have been reporting exclusively on pro-government rallies in which large numbers of people participated, including some who sing and dance “in defense of peace.”" ~ Human Rights Watch, April 19. 2017

  62. ==============================================
  63. "Our eyes will be on Venezuela today as the “mother of all protests” against Cuba’s puppet dictatorship is scheduled to take place. Nicolas Maduro’s Cuban handlers have ordered him to deploy the military into the streets and no doubt use whatever force necessary to beat down the protestors and quash dissent. It is how the Castro regime has done it in Cuba for the past 58 years and it is exactly how they are doing it in Venezuela." ~ Babalú Blog, April 19, 2017

  65. ==============================================
  66. "While the US has a habit of invading or attacking sovereign nations any time the president's approval rating dips below a certain threshold, Venezuela has a similar, if less dramatic mechanism to provide a brief boost to Maduro's popularity: it nationalizes foreign plants on its soil.
  67.
  68. It did so last July, when the country was once again suffocating under a wave of violent protests, when just hours after Kimberly-Clark said it will shutter its Venezuela operations after years of grappling with soaring inflation and a shortage of hard currency and raw materials, Venezuela retaliated by announcing it would seize the factory.
  69.
  70. It did so again overnight, when General Motors said on Wednesday that Venezuelan authorities had illegally seized its plant in the industrial hub of Valencia; as a result the carmaker said it would immediately halt operations in Venezuela." ~ ZeroHedge, April 20, 2017

  72. ==============================================
  73. " Venezuela's economic collapse has led to mass hunger in the country.
  74. In a bombshell New York Times report, Nicholas Casey notes that, according to the most recent assessment of living standards by Simón Bolívar University, a whopping 87% of Venezuelans now say that they don't have money to buy enough food. " ~ Business Insider, June 20, 2016

  77. A bit of background on what's been taking place the last 40 years, when the rioters in the 60s decided their place was in our schools--now realized on the streets across America:
  78. TRANSCRIPT: CONVERSACION CON BILL AYERS
  79. Pedagogia Crítica y Revolución Bolivariana. Luis Bonilla-Molina y Bill Ayers.
  80. Traducción: Chesa Boudin
  81. Notes: Series on YouTube.com. Appears to be an organizational meeting In
  82. Venezuela.
  83.
  84. Bill AYERS does most of the talking.
  85. His foster son, Chesa Boudin (son of Weatherman killers, David Gilbert and Kathy Boudin), serves as translator. (A future imposition on
  86. America?) Che Guevara􀀁s Portrait looms over, like a Marxist Jesus.
  87. Ayers begins speaking:
  88. “It's interesting. I began teaching in 1965 as part of a small freedom school associated with the Civil Rights movement. It was a fortunate beginning because I understood very early that teaching and learning education is linked to social justice. It was clear that the civil rights movement wanted to change the country. But also, to change our country, we had to change ourselves. We need to educate ourselves."
