[15:46] <Kilarra> The truth is a powerful weapon—too powerful to be left in the hands of strangers. While the drow, led by their new military mastermind Allevrah, perfect their meteor magic, the question arises: How did they come by such devastating magic in the first place? The truth lies in the halls of elven power, guarded by the Winter Council, a secret society so ancient that they are considered all but a myth.
[15:47] <Kilarra> And what the Winter Council is prepared to sacrifice in order to retain this secrecy is a scandal that the elven nation may not be prepared to accept.
[15:52] <Kilarra> -Session 74-
[15:52] <Kilarra> The party awakens in the same clearing within a forest on the plane of Elysium, the various azatas they had met all conversing with each other or otherwise enjoying themselves.
[15:53] * Kilarra stretches and lays her arms over Aluthyra, snugglign up to the Aasimar. She was content to lay here just a little longer.
[15:54] * Aluthyra smiles, waking from Kilarra's movement. Her eyes stay closed for the moment, enjoying the company and warmth.
[15:55] <@Aluthyra> Kahree isn't planning on waking up anytime soon, unless someone forces her to. Her entire person is currently hidden away and snuggled within her bedroll.
[15:56] <Kilarra> Kjell awakens and decides to engage the Azatas in some conversation while he prepares his spells for the day ahead. He wanted to be prepared for whatever might come, so he begins scribing the spell form one of his scrolls as well.
[15:59] <@Aluthyra> After a few more moments, Aluthyra lets out a yawn and nudges Kilarra. "It would appear that our time here is running short."
[16:03] * Kilarra pouts a bit, but sits up and stretches. "Well, we can always come back once this whole drow thing is settled."
[16:05] * Aluthyra nods, kissing Kilarra's cheek. "I would definitely hope to, but for now... I suppose it is best to ready ourselves to leave."
[16:05] * Kilarra nods and smirks, "Want to come with me while I prepare? It's been a while since I've been able to do so without needing to restrain myself."
[16:07] * Aluthyra bites her lip... but her pondering only lasts a short second before she nods. "I... think I would, yes."
[16:08] * Kilarra giggles and stands up, pulling Aluthyra with her to a more secluded area within the forest, but not too far away that they would get lost.
[16:09] <Kilarra> Kjell rolls his eyes and chuckles.
[16:09] <Kilarra> Geoff snickers. "Those two certainly have a healthy libido. Or at least the tiefling does."
[16:09] <@Aluthyra> A shuffling is heard from Kahree's bedroll as she rolls around in her sleep. While it's nice to get extra sleep, the ground isn't the most comfortable place...
[16:10] <Kilarra> Mika pops down near Kahree's head and whispers into her ear; "Your friends are all up. SHouldn't you be too?"
[16:11] * Kahree groans. "Nu... they all take an hour to prepare... so imma sleep..."
[16:12] * Kilarra is quite vivacious in her morning dedications today, a month and a half of pent up sexual frustration, or at least the leftovers after her time in the hotsprings with Aluthyra, all getting relieved at once.
[16:14] <Kilarra> Kjell chuckles at the sound of Kilarra's moaning. "You could certainly say that Geoff. Still, I think they needed it after our time among the drow. I admit that I was beginning to reach my wits end as well. I simply cannot understand how they work, even having seen it with my own eyes."
[16:14] <Kilarra> Mika pouts and buzzes back over to Jezelle
[16:15] * Kilarra returns to the clearing once she's finished, panting a bit.
[16:15] * Aluthyra takes several more moments to return, slipping into clean robes.
[16:17] <Kilarra> Geoff waits for Aluthyra to come back, then approaches her. "I remember where I've encounter your fragrance before," he tells her.
[16:17] * Kilarra keeps an ear perked towards Geoff and Aluthyra as she dons her robes and armour.
[16:17] * Aluthyra raises an eyebrow. "Oh?"
[16:19] <Kilarra> Geoff nods, "On this plane there is a realm known as the Garden of Wild Fruits and Wilder Magics. It is home to some of the most magnificent wildflowers and succulent fruits anyone could imagine. It is from there that I once caught wind of the same fragrance that you exhume."
[16:20] * Aluthyra hmmms. "This... Garden, what can you tell me of it? And what caused the smell?"
[16:22] <Kilarra> Geoff nods. "Well, I know that it is tended to by a powerful Azata. I do not know her name, but she is one of the Verdanilla, among the most powerful of Azatas. The garden is an interesting sight, because at the same time, all four seasons of its life can be witnessed, sometimes not five feet form each other."
[16:23] <Kilarra> Geoff notes, "It is difficult to diving individual smells within such a collection of fragrances, but I am sure it was there that I smelled it."
[16:24] * Aluthyra smiles faintly. "Very well. Thank you. With luck, I will be able to return, and travel to the garden... and perhaps find the Verdanilla you speak of."
[16:25] <Kilarra> Geoff nods, "I wish you the best of luck in that regard. Will you be departing soon"?
[16:25] * Aluthyra nods. "Presumably, yes. Once we are finished in our preparations."
[16:27] * Kilarra walks back over to Alutyra, "I've got the plane shift ready at least. Hopefully we don't land too far out."
[16:28] * Aluthyra nods, then moves to Kahree's side, nudging her. "Time to leave soon, Kahree."
[16:29] <@Aluthyra> Kahree groans, sitting up and sliding out of her bedroll. "Fine, fine..." She hops up and readies herself, only taking a couple minutes. She nods to her companions. "Guess I'm good to go, whenever."
[16:29] <Kilarra> Geoff heads back over to his Azata companions. "If you come back, and happen to run into us, don't hesitate to ask for the company."
[16:31] <Kilarra> Kjell stands up and shuts his spellbook, rejoining his companions. "It would be wonderful if we did. Thank you for your hospitality."
[16:33] * Aluthyra nods, bowing to the azatas. "Until next time. And thank you, for everything."
[16:34] * Kilarra holds out her hands, pulling out her tuning fork. "Alright, join hands in a circle."
[16:34] * Aluthyra joins hands with Kilarra.
[16:35] <@Aluthyra> Kahree joins hands with Aluthyra.
[16:35] <Kilarra> Kjell joins hands with the other two.
[16:36] * Kilarra nods and holds the tuning fork, as well as Aluthyra's hand with it, aloft. It begins to vibrate and glow before the party winks out of this plane of existance...
[16:41] <Kilarra> The party lands back in the middle of a forest.
[16:41] <@Aluthyra> Kahree frowns. "So... how close are we?"
[16:42] <Kilarra> Kjell looks around, "These forests... we're north of Varisia I think."
[16:43] * Kilarra sighs, "Damnit. Really with there was a better way to aim this spell."
[16:43] * Kilarra puts the tuning fork away and pulls out a copper wire. "Well, at least we're back on Golarion. If we can find a city, maybe we can hire a wizard to take us the rest of the way."
[16:45] * Aluthyra nods. "That sounds reasonable enough, though... which way to go?"
[16:50] <Kilarra> Kjell chuckles, "Might I suggest south? It's a bit nippy."
[16:51] <@Aluthyra> Kahree nods. "Let's get a move on then!"
[16:54] * Kilarra nods and starts heading south after taking a moment to get her bearings.
[16:54] * Aluthyra and Kahree follow.
[16:55] <Kilarra> The party's trip south eventually leads them out of the forest, and into the sight of a large town off in the distance. The roads of this place are unpaved but well worn dirt paths.
[16:56] * Kilarra casts her sending spell as they walk. "To Eviana. Made it back from Zirnakaynin. Have vital information. Escape was complicated. Making our way back now. WIll explain in full upon our arrival."
[16:58] * Aluthyra remains silent, eyes on the city ahead. Her ears perk as Kilarra casts her spell, and she remains silent, curious whether or not Eviana would respond.
[16:59] * Kilarra speaks aloud as Eviana replies. "Will await your arrival. Depending on the nature of your information, your group may be asked to deliver the news to Queen Tellandia. Good Luck."
[17:01] * Kilarra ponders that. "Meeting the Elf QUeen huh? We sure are moving up in the world."
[17:02] <@Aluthyra> Kahree grins. "Seem to be."
[17:06] <Kilarra> The town in Question is bustling with traders. Most of them are at least slightly barbarous looking, with furs, wolves, and axes being common sights.
[17:06] <Kilarra> Kjell thinks for a moment, "North of Varisia... I think we find ourselves in one of the Linlorm Kingdoms."
[17:07] <@Aluthyra> Kahree shrugs. "As long as they've got someone that can teleport us..."
[17:08] <Kilarra> Kjell nods, "They are a bit suspicious of magic up here, but no one would be foolish enough to deny it's utility. There will be at least one."
[17:10] <@Aluthyra> Kahree nods, and wanting to get this done quickly, nudges the first and closest townsperson. "Hey. Where's the most well-known magic user in this place?"
[17:10] <Kilarra> The townperson doesn't look to happy to be greeted in such a manner, and spends a moment having a glaring contest with Kahree.
[17:11] <@Aluthyra> Kahree returns the glares. "I. Asked. Where."
[17:13] <Kilarra> The townperson nods and points, grunting a bit before walking off.
[17:13] <Kilarra> Kjell chuckles. "Interesting."
[17:14] <@Aluthyra> Kahree smirks, heading off in that direction.
[17:16] <Kilarra> The home of the local magician is a humble one that doubles as an apothecary. Inside, an older man sits behind a desk, with shelves of jars, components, and various other magical supplies sit.
[17:17] * Aluthyra clears her throat before Kahree has a chance to somehow insult the wizard. "Excuse me, we have need of your services, if you have the time."
[17:18] <Kilarra> The wizards stirs and stands up. "You look like foreigners. What brings you here?" he asks, looking them over with hints of suspicion
[17:19] * Kilarra answers, "A mishap while travelling. We simply require someone skilled enough to transport us back to our intended destination."
[17:19] <@Aluthyra> Kahree groans. "Nothing that concerns your town. We're lost, and we need to be teleported."
[17:21] <Kilarra> The wizard nods, "WHere to?"
[17:22] <Kilarra> Kjell answers, "A forest in Varisia, where we were meant to rendevouz with allies." He looks to the party, indicating that he was keeping the details secret as they had been asked by Eviana.
[17:25] <Kilarra> The wizard nods and stands up. He starts rummaging through his desk and comes out with a couple scrolls. "I don't need to know your reasons, not my business, I just need a more precise idea of where to take you so the spell will work. It'll be 4500 for a one-way trip."
[17:26] <@Aluthyra> Kahree presents 5 gems worth 250 gold each.
[17:26] * Aluthyra matches it with another 5 gems.
[17:28] * Kilarra tosses in 1000gp worth of the gems she converted to before heading down to the darklands.
[17:29] <Kilarra> Kjell does the same, then looks to his companions. "That was a bit steeper than I suspected. Perhaps we should take up MIka's offer and check out the remnants of Razorhorn's hoard."
[17:31] <@Aluthyra> Kahree nods. "I'd be up for it."
[17:32] * Kilarra shrugs, "I'd be a little happier if I knew the date, but considering how elves and drow tend to think with their comparatively long lives, we probably have some time before things pick up again."
[17:35] * Kilarra looks to Aluthyra, "We could land on the border of the forest, head to the border fort and probably be able to get it done in less than a day."
[17:41] * Aluthyra shrugs. "As long as you believe Eviana will not mind a slight delay in our arrival."
[17:42] <Kilarra> Kjell nods, then gives the wizard a thorough desription of the southern end of the Maerani forest where they first arrived there before.
[17:47] <Kilarra> The wizard takes his payment and stashes it, then brings up the scroll. He activates it, whisking the party away to the southern border of the Maerani Forest. After that, he uses the other scroll to return immediately.
[17:47] * Kilarra chuckles, "About time something was relatively easy for us."
[17:50] <@Aluthyra> Kahree chuckles. "Hopefully the dragon's cave is empty."
[17:51] <@Aluthyra> She corrects, "Ruins. Fort. Whatever."
[17:52] <Kilarra> Kjell looks to Kahree, "Let's see that map then. Hopefully we can make this excursion quick."
[17:52] <@Aluthyra> Kahree passes over the map to Kjell.
[17:55] <Kilarra> Kjell looks the map over. "Alright, so if we head North along the outside of the forest, then go in here, we should be able to cut straight across to it."
