- Or get a voter registration form from local library, social security office, city/local government offices.
- The California Pirate Party needs 104,000 registered voters to qualify as political party.
- Currently, the California Pirate Party is recognized by the state as a party attempting to qualify.
- For party affiliation, write in "California Pirate Party".
- Do not write in any truncated manner ie: CA Pirate Party, Cal Pirate, Pirate Party, etc
- Note: Voter registration cards issued by the state will not say California Pirate Party until the party is qualified. Until such time, the voter registration cards will not reflect any particular party status. However the state records will reflect California Pirate Party as chosen affiliation, and voters can check their status online at http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/registration-status/
- The state of California has open primaries; registering with the California Pirate Party does not cause exclusion from primary voting.
- The California Pirate Party is part of the US Pirate Party network.
