<Snowshoe> "Not much. Apparently the butterflies'll pop up and knock people off the rigging. He's not happy about that priest and his warnings.

<NachtRuine> "Sounds like dangerous stuff. Tried squashing one, but it only made more appear."
<Snowshoe> "Not good stuff. You learn anything interesting?"
<NachtRuine> "Apparently the wizard was th' first one there. Had a whole book 'bout it. Didn't feel like readin' it all, but it was pretty detailed."
<Snowshoe> "Learn anything about the man?"
<NachtRuine> "Likes t' talk to himself. Kinda off 'is rocker."
<Snowshoe> "And he's... leading us?"
<NachtRuine> "He knows where we're goin'. Don't really need to know anything else."
<NachtRuine> "Either way, don't believe I've seen anythin' like ya. Yer like aaaa... An owl-person or somethin'."
<Snowshoe> "A Strix, yep."
<NachtRuine> "Huh. Must not hang around mountains, then."
<Snowshoe> "We've got a few cities in the mountains, but there aren't many of us."
<NachtRuine> "Explains why I haven't seen one before. What's yer name?"
<Snowshoe> "Straal. Don't believe I caught your name earlier."
<NachtRuine> "Tokivan. Call me Toki."

<NachtRuine> "What'd ya do before?"
<Snowshoe> "A little bit of everything. Trading and tracking before I came to Irin, did a bit of work with some low-level mages in the city."
<NachtRuine> "Trackin'? Like animals 'n such?"
<Snowshoe> "Mostly. Had a few times people would make a deal and try to back out, so not just animals."
<NachtRuine> "Ah. Might be helpful huntin'. Margaret'll appreciate the help."
<Snowshoe> "Margaret?"
<NachtRuine> "Ah, sorry. Margaret's me throwin' axe."
<Snowshoe> "You've named your axes?"
<NachtRuine> "Aye. Helped me through many a time. My greataxe's Agatha. Wait, you haven't named yer weapons?"
<Snowshoe> "Ah, no. Bit hard to keep track of named arrows."
<NachtRuine> "Ya don't name yer arrows. Ya name the bow. Arrows come an' go, but bows stay 'till the end."
<Snowshoe> "Bows tend to come and go as well. They're not the sturdiest things. Picked this one up before getting on the boat."
<NachtRuine> "Right. Ain't ever fired a bow before, so shouldn't have said anythin'. Prefer my combat face-to-face. Or face-to-chest, as the situation goes sometimes."
<Snowshoe> she laughs quietly. "I'd imagine the axe brings fixes those situations fairly quickly."
<NachtRuine> "Aye. When Agatha can't reach my target, Margaret can."
<Snowshoe> She nods, then points at the bow. "Reaching them's not really an issue. Them reaching me, that's the problem."
<NachtRuine> "Aye. If we work together, we c'n probably keep alive longer. You gettin' the far ones, me keepin' the close ones off."
<Snowshoe> "That'll work."
<Snowshoe> "So how about that rat from earlier? What was all that about?"
<NachtRuine> "Ah, he summoned a buddy o' his, freaked out 'cause of the priest. Prolly thought the priest'd go crazy on 'em."
