- =Setting
- Up towards the Scottish border, there is a very small town named Carter Hall. There is a newsagents, a grocer's, a stone circle, a pub, a secondary school, a church, and fuck all else bar fields of bloody sheep. There's sod all to do there.
- The schoolkids get very bored indeed. It's no wonder they turn to fighting monsters.
- =GMing Duties
- GM for the week is chosen randomly from a list of eligible GMs; All players begin eligible, and are removed from the list after they GM a session. Once the list is empty, everyone is added back on to the list. All players begin with 1 Veto they can spend on not GMing a session if they're chosen. A player may volunteer to GM a session at any point (though if you volunteer after the random GM is chosen, they may overrule you if they want to GM), earning them an extra Veto to be spent later. Volunteering removes you from the eligible list.
- I'll take the first session if nobody else wants it.
- =Tone
- Since we're probably not going to agree at all with one what scale between comedy and drama this should fall, fuck it, go for whatever you want. When you're GMing, go nuts. You can have bumbling clown monsters fucking around or you can have a murderous slasher killing the fuck out of people left and right. Think of it like a TV show with each episode having it's own writer and director.
- =NPCs
- To protect those you love, you have three Marks of Importance and one Mark of Safety. You can bestow a Mark of Importance on any NPC you deem important enough not to be killed off as just another victim. While there is no actual rule against killing an Important NPC, it is strongly suggested you only do it when it'll make an impact and it's important to the plot. You can move Marks of Importance from character to character at your whim. A Mark of Safety completely forbids another GM from killing off the character. However, PCs can still, of their own free will, decide to murder the character, and if the dice come down and the character is caught out in a fight with a monster, they don't get a reroll (though try not to put them in that situation). You only get your Mark of Safety back if the character dies, although you can revoke it and allow some other GM to do your dirty work for you.
