(Scene begins on the map of Miura Coast, outside the Nanbara Connection. Combattler V appears.)

Kosuke: Hyoma, there’s a strong energy reading coming from the sea!

(Garuda appears in Big Garuda.)

Garuda: I am pleased that you’ve come, Hyoma Aoi!

豹馬
「ガルーダ!
望み通り決闘を受けてやるぜ!」
Hyoma: Garuda! I’m here for that duel you wanted!

「なんや、あいつだけかいな。
ホンマに1対1の決闘をする気やったんか」
Juzo: Holy crap, he’s actually the only one here! I guess he really did want a one-on-one duel.

「貴様らはキャンベル星人にとって

Garuda: As the biggest obstacle to the Campbellian race, you must be defeated!

(An attack animation begins. Combattler V uses Super Electromagnetic Spin against Big Garuda.)

Hyoma: Super Electromagnetic SPIIIIIN!!

「それで攻撃しているつもりか? 片腹痛いわ!」
Garuda: That’s what you intend to face me with? Ridiculous!

(Big Garuda counterattacks with Big Bow.)

Garuda: Now die!

Juzo: Uwah! Hyoma, keep it together!

「何だと!? 文句があるなら、
てめえが操縦しろってんだ!」
Hyoma: The hell!? If you’ve got a problem, then you take the controls!

(The attack animations end. Both mechs are damaged by about 1/4.)

Hyoma: Uggghhh...!

あいつ、口だけとちゃうな…!」
Juzo: Kuh! That son of a gun ain’t all talk after all...!

(Combattler V suddenly gets bombarded.)

Baron Ashura: Hahaha... You looked like you were having trouble, General Garuda!

(Scene ends, then picks up right where it left off.)

ここで貴様を捕らえてやるわ!」
Baron Ashura: Ha, just as predicted! I’ll capture you this time!

(Mazinger Z appears.)

Koji: Are you alright, Hyoma!?

「ううう…ぐうぅぅ…!」
Hyoma: Uuuh... Ugggh...!

Koji: Hyoma!?

「豹馬は腕を怪我したの!」
Chizuru: Hyoma’s arms are injured!

Koji: What!?

「現れおったな、マジンガーZ!」
Baron Ashura: So you’ve come too, Mazinger Z!

「ここは俺たちが引き受ける!
バトルチームは下がれ!」
Koji: We’ll take them on! Battle Team, fall back!

(Combattler V leaves the map.)

Garuda: Grr... You won’t get away, Combattler!

(Big Garuda leaves the map.)

Koji: Hey, you’re not going anywhere!

「それはこちらの台詞だ!」
Baron Ashura: That should be my line!

(Mechanical Beasts appear.)

「あと一歩でコン・バトラーVを倒せたものを!
貴様らはここで皆殺しだ!」
Baron Ashura: I was so close to destroying Combattler V! I suppose you’ll have to die in their place!

「あしゅら男爵…よくも豹馬を!
返り討ちにしてやるぜ!」
Koji: Baron Ashura... how dare you do that to Hyoma! I’ll make sure to pay you back for him!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when Baron Ashura is defeated.)

「先程は邪魔が入った!

Garuda: We were intervened upon before! This time, I will defeat you utterly!
