  3. SITUATION:
  4. A guerrilla group has taken over the local military branch and its equipment. They have used this to take over a large portion of the region. As part of the 3rd Commando Brigade, you are being deployed in a coordinated on-foot push to reduce the territory held by the enemy and corner them for future assaults.
  5. Today you will take another key hill in the area from the enemy. This hill is in a critical position, and allows them to cover a good area with their artillery and mortar positions, as well as prevent movement past a major road. We have secured a foothold at the base of this hill, and it is your task to take it on this day.
  6. You will step off at approx 1200 hours. Weather is expected to be overcast, with a good chance of rain.
  7. Best of luck, the enemy is hardy and dug in fiercely. God save the Queen!

  9. ASSETS: 1x M6 Mortar Team.
  10. Comprised of: 1x Lead, 2x Gunner, 2x Assistant

  12. OBJECTIVES:
  13. Secure the following key terrain points:
  14. - Compound at TRP 01
  15. - Hill 193
  16. - Ranachan Hill
  17. Keep civilian structure damage to a minimum, though the AO is largely non-civilian.

  19. MAP KEY:
  20. We have marked your map with specific markers. Some explanation and tips are as follows:
  21. - Red lines/squares indicate minefield lines
  22. - Blue squares indicate friendly reinforced trench line (with sandbag bunkers equipped with L7 machine guns)
  23. - A mortar pit is set up just behind the friendly starting positon
  24. - Enemy positions and entrenchments are numerous and devious. The terrain is littered with rocks, use these to your advantage once on the hill proper, and natural grooves in the terrain to approach it.

  28. No BFT or GPS
  29. No NVDs (Night vision devices)
  30. No Digital Rangefinders

  32. Uniform: DPM Wdl - pick from: Default, Rolled, Smock, Jumper.
  33. Vest: 3CB BAF PLCE (Plate) Webbing, in DPM Wdl or Olive
  34. Helmet: Any non-UN Beret from BAF, Wool Commando Hat, Helmet Mk7 MTP Scrim (Any variant bar D or E)
  35. Backpack: DPM Wdl camouflaged items

  37. Primary: L1A1 for rifles. | FN LAR or L7A2 for AR. | Sterling available for MAT Gunners
  38. Secondary: L9A1
  39. Grenadier: 1 person per squad may take a M320 GLM secondary.
  40. AT: RHS MAAWS or M72A7
  41. Sights: Iron or SUIT
  42. No suppressors
