+Hands are very good tools.

-Needs food.
-Needs living room and gravity.
-Needs breathing mix.
-Susceptible to radiation poisoning and cancer.
-Rather heavy.

-Catpeople-
Pros:
+Generally focused and curious.
Cons:
-HOLY SHIT PLEASE DONT PUT THEM IN FREEFALL THEY CAN NOT GET USED TO IT AND WILL CLAW YOUR EYES OUT JESUS CHRIST

Pros:

+Not as susceptible to illnesses, including space cancer.

-Batshit crazy when influenced by light that has the absorption spectrum of the Lunar surface.

Pros:

+Can fly on planets with thick enough atmospheres.
+Decent problem solvers.
+1,000 year plus life span.
+Can survive in hotter temperatures than most life.
Cons:
-Needs a LOT of food.
-Needs a LOT of living space.
-Needs a LOT of breathing mix.
-Fire hazard.
-Absolutely massive!
-Tend to be aggressive.

-Dog People-
Pros:
+They are the goodest boys and girls.
+Motivated.
+Versatile.
+Lower end of the mass for different breeds can result in lightweight astronauts.
Cons:
-Needs meat food.
-Needs living room and gravity.
-Needs breathing mix.
-Susceptible to radiation poisoning and cancer.
-Upper end of the mass for different breeds can result in rather heavy astronauts.
-Short life spans.

-Fairies-
Pros:
+Need a much smaller living space than humans.
+Need much smaller food and breathing mix supply than humans.
+Extremely low mass!
+Can fly in a fairly versatile set of atmospheric conditions.
+Hands are very good tools.
Cons:
-Become easily disoriented in freefall.
-Become easily disoriented in small centrifuges.
-Not the smartest candidates, with below average human thinking speed.
-Short life spans.

-Avian People-
Pros:
+Intelligent.
+Good problem solvers.
+Can fly on planets with thick enough atmospheres.
+Versatile.
Cons:
-Beak and feet aren't as good as hands.
-Needs food.
-Needs breathing mix.
-Needs lots of living space.
-Become disoriented in freefall.
-Become disoriented in small centrifuges.

-Elephant People-
Pros:

Cons:
-Seriously though, this doesn't work.

-Saltwater Merfolk (Disneyalike Fish People)-
Pros:
+Can swim in the water oceans of planets or satellites, sometimes without any special clothing or equipment.
+Can swim, properly suited, in most oceanic compositions.
+Already used to floating in the water, freefall isn't difficult to get used to.
+Versatile.
+Can breath in a nitrogen/oxygen breathing mix (though exposure to air will cause problems after only a few hours.)
+Easiest to get along with humans in space.
+Do not have muscle atrophy when removed from gravity.
+Water provides protection from radiation.
+Hands are very good tools.
Cons:
-Require dense water atmosphere (or at the very least, when cohabiting with humans, a water suit) for long periods of time.
-Rarely care about space.
-Require much more technical training to operate spacecraft.
-Can not perform useful EVAs (or IVAs) in a waterless gravitational environment.
-Rather Heavy.
-Need food.
-Requires waterproofing for electronics (when in a wet environment, at least.)

-Difficult to find in nature to convince to be an astronaut.
-Mostly uncivilized.
-Require dense water atmosphere compared to faries.
-Can not breathe breathing mix at all.
-Requires waterproofing for electronics.

-Can not perform useful EVAs (or IVAs) in a waterless gravitational environment.

-Cephalopod Merfolk (Ursula People)
