Is it possible to be a great parent and a terrible parent all at once? Equation and Quadratics both manage it. They together manage the clan's hatchlings, taking care of them and helping them grow and move on. This includes their very own children, which get mixed in with the other hatchlings instead of being revered as their own young. They're both excellent teachers and caretakers, but no hatchling is more important than another under their care. It's made some children... Resentful.

Individually, Equation himself is in charge of education. He's loud and he's passionate about his studies, and he likes recording everything he deems important.
