BACKGROUND ; HWAYOUNG has always been a single child, her only interactions at home being with her tiny dog WINNY and with her parents. she was never the most popular amongst children, her natural sass caused her to come off as a mean person despite the fact that she was very kind; but it didn't matter to her since she was meticulous and selective with her few friends. at the age of 7, her parents split up for reasons that were never explained, HWAYOUNGs mother disappeared, leaving her with her father who then decided to move with her to OSAKA. a few years later, HWAYOUNG reached the age of 13, WINNY (basically her best friend) died. HWAYOUNGs father gave her the most love and attention he could to compensate for her dog's death, you could say the habit rubbed off on her thus turning her into a great hype woman, especially when her friends were feeling down. HWAYOUNG naturally enjoyed the spotlight, which encouraged her to start a gaming channel on youtube when she grew up a bit. she finally decided to purchase a VR dating simulator upon reaching 1M subscribers, for the fun of it, not realizing what she was getting herself into.


ii - personality



PERSONALITY OVERVIEW ; HWAYOUNG may come of as gullible and naive based on her happy go lucky and light hearted attitude but she's actually very doubtful of the world around her and barely allows anyone to break through her walls and see the real her: she's basically a walking mascarade, sometimes showing off sass, sometimes playing dumb, sometimes playing it off as the hero when in reality she's actually scared. she's the type to say everything to your face, if she dislikes you, she'll excessively show it. HWAYOUNG couldn't care less about people's hateful opinions towards her (she's gotten accustomed to it, being a fairly known youtuber) but when it comes to the people she loves, she becomes very defensive. she absolutely hates being ignored, it hurts her pride. HWAYOUNG enjoys the spotlight, making her great and outgoing in group settings as she takes it as an opportunity to leave a good impression of herself, which balances out her excessive sass. as if mentioned earlier, HWAYOUNG is very selective when it comes to her surroundings, the only person she FULLY trusts being herself and nobody else.

HWAYOUNG would also be naturally drawn to OPAL as they both seem to just want to have a good time and have upbeat personalities. HWAYOUNG tends to want to hang out with anyone she gets along with.

HWAYOUNG is likely to not get along with DIAMOND, either DIAMOND says or does something hurtful to her or her friends that she doesn't forgive, or she just doesn't feel like dealing with her savage attitude. she would also not particularly like EMERALD for always acting too sweet, innocent and gullible so she'd probably throw shade at her.

all while having fun, HWAYOUNG still has her guards up, she's suspicious of basically everyone at this point but acts unbothered.

AHAH I'd lowkey laugh, I mean it would be a shame if my first ever character lost but hey that's what makes this story special so I wouldn't mind at all honestly

PERSONALITY OVERVIEW ;

SEOKJIN is one to carefully think things through but always keeps his new found information to himself. he's wary by nature but doesn't let it get in the way of having a good time. he knows how to take a joke and loves fooling around as well. he may come off as arrogant and narcissistic but most of his comments are not to be taken seriously as it is just purposely exaggerated confidence. SEOKJIN is a very fun person to be with as he is effortlessly funny and always down for a good laugh. despite his many advantages, SEOKJIN stays very humble, which sparks the interest of a certain female character *cough* HWAYOUNG *cough*. he's very unique especially when it comes to strange habits of his. despite having a personality of his own, he easily adapts to other people's moods: if you'd like to be lazy he'll gladly be lazy with you, if you're on a rant he'll rant with you, if you wanna have fun he'll have fun with you, etc. all in all, SEOKJIN is a laid back, funny, humble, wary and intelligent person.

SEOKJIN has his carefully thought out suspicions but doesn't voice them out, since he wouldn't want to cause any problems or wrongly accuse anyone. so yes, SEOKJIN is suspicious.

NOPE if he's not the imposter it's cool, if he is the imposter it's also cool, that's what makes the story!

INTERACTIONS ;

HWAYOUNG will always be drawn to SEOKJIN, and despite lowkey hating him at first for appearing too full of himself (before realizing that he's joking) she has always been very envious of his hilarious, collected, kind and calm personality, she only becomes even more attracted to him when she realizes he's not as perfect as he seemed to her. SEOKJIN is first drawn to her appearance but isn't feeling her because of how problematic and hateful she seems, but being himself, he seeks the good side of things and acknowledges her admirable traits. they eventually fall in love, but the two of them are too suspicious so their relationship is the 'so close but so far' type of thing (ex: they'd be close to kissing but then they just suddenly back away and shake their heads, pretending that nothing was about to happen because these two idiots won't come to terms with their feelings.). the two of them act like couple/best friends goals and they both know it but are too shy to actually admit it so they keep on pretending to love eachother platonically to save themselves from any awkwardness, which is unlike them but love does weird things.




DATING? ;

perhaps they could end up dating at the end?


BACKUP ;

double H (HWAYOUNG+HOSEOK) have a very teasing type of relationship. HOSEOK is more trusting of his surroundings while HWAYOUNG isn't at all, making it complicated for them to get along at first. HOSEOK teases her for being born a month later than him and HWAYOUNG on the other hand picks at his physical appearance, especially when he laughs. HWAYOUNG is undeniably physically attracted to HOSEOK, but being as loyal as she is, she shoves her thoughts away and sticks to SEOKJIN only. double H still get along very well as friends.
