  1. [19:00] Seifer took a seat upon one of the cushions after they finally made it back to the Shrine. The young man had quite a great ordeal to see through and the least he could do for Ema's sanity was to ensure as many little parts as she could use were done without needing her help. Or at least too much of her help.
  2.
  3. Turning on one of the burners to set a kettle atop it, Seifer placed down the Eos-forged blade upon the table. Its dreamlike state left it vibrating - as if it didn't quite belong in this world.
  4.
  5. "The request is a rather simple one. Ema and I have been working on this blade for... a while. And as it stands with an attunement to the Lifestream itself coupled with its creation being one made in a dream and... well— many more artifacts we thought it would allow me to possibly slip into the spirit realm for a short moment.
  6.
  7. Though I grew worried that I may end up hurt, squished, or rejected by the Lifestream in the process. The markings on your bodyhave proven to make the matter easier for you, so I figured inscriptions on the blade would do the same."
  8. (Seifer Gardios)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [19:00] "That is something that is a possibility, I wouldn't be too difficult to place some runes onto the blade itself. My suggestions is to etch the runes on the blade, and fill them with a highly reactive metal, like Arcanium. Soul Steel would work better if your aim is to attune it to the spirit realm. It won't be easy though, I want to make that very clear."
  12.
  13. "While the etching the runes isn't going difficult, actually placing the command might be. The lifesteam is living, but then again...you are pretty attuned to life in general so it might not that difficult at all."
  14.
  15. "What materials do you have to work with besides just the sword at the moment."
  16. (Sága)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. [19:00] "Arcanium is going to be a component to it." He answers while water boils and teabags are dropped into it to seep. His attention shifts back towards the woman soon after.
  20.
  21. "Since the blade was created in a Primordial's dream and isn't... quite fit for the physical world we've been working on grounding it in reality. A fragment of a hero's story of valor, courage, and determination will serve as that anchor. A piece of high spiritual density is there to further attune it to the Lifestream as it is already attuned to me; and cleansing waters made to purify spirits and to ensure the proper procedures of rituals will ensure that no tear is formed in the world." He explains, pushing the weapon over towards Sága.
  22.
  23. "This is merely a safety measure."
  24. (Seifer Gardios)
  25. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  26.
  27. [19:00] "I see, well this is going to be an interesting proejce. I can help with something like this."
  28.
  29. She looks at the blade, it was made with the vision of a primordial. She was going to have to do a little bit more than copy the tattoo's that she had on her body for this blade, this was going to require real craftsmanship.
  30.
  31. "How soon would you like to get started? I can imagine that this will take some time, but whenever you're ready, I'll be here."
  32.
  33. She was ready to go at any point, she was busy, but for something this important she was willing to move her schedule around. The fate of the country was slowly shifting in the favor of the light from her point of view.
  34.
  35. Still, there was a lot that had to be done.
  36.
  37. "Do you have a name for the weapon itself? Or did it come with one when you received it?"
  38. (Sága)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [19:00] "I was thinking about starting right now. Since... you're here and we have the time. Unless you have something else you have to take care of." He pondered, moving the teapot above a cup for both himself and her, pouring in the two of them in succession while letting the warm aroma of tea waft through the air.
  42.
  43. "The weapon has no name as of yet. Though... I'll figure one out by the time it's all done."
  44. (Seifer Gardios)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [19:00] Well, lets get started, where is your forge?"
  48.
  49. That was the first thing that she could think of, if they were going to get serious work done, then she was going to have to get her hands dirty as quickly as possible.
  50.
  51. Arcanium was a difficult metal to work with, but once it was melted, it would be superior to all metals.
  52.
  53. "If you could think of one word, one word that could sum up the reason why you want this sword, what would it be?"
  54. (Sága)
  55. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  56.
  57. [19:00] "Well, lets get started, where is your forge?"
  58.
  59. That was the first thing that she could think of, if they were going to get serious work done, then she was going to have to get her hands dirty as quickly as possible.
  60.
  61. Arcanium was a difficult metal to work with, but once it was melted, it would be superior to all metals.
  62.
  63. "If you could think of one word, one word that could sum up the reason why you want this sword, what would it be?"
  64. (Sága)
  65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  66.
  67. [19:00] Seifer gave a slight tilt of his head when the question came to be, and soon after a question of his own came.
  68.
  69. "Why would we need a forge to draw some runes?" He asked, giving that last question a bit more thought, though not answering yet.
  70. (Seifer Gardios)
  71. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  72.
  73. [19:00] Sága says, "Because we would melt down the arcanium to trace it if you were using it for the runes."
  74. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "Ah-"
  75. [19:00] Sága asks, "Are you in IC tab?"
  76. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "No, no. Ema's handling all the rest of the work."
  77. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "We just needed a Wayfinder to help with this little bit."
  78. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "Ethric suggested you."
  79. [19:00] Sága says, "Fair enough."
  80. [19:00] Sága says, "Lets get started then."
  81. [19:00] "Personally, I do Britannian style runes, while not the most time efficient, it yields for higher quality results. I would go on about a project I have but that's for a later date, for now we can focus on your sword."
  82.
  83. "We're going to draw a run on a surface, if the sword itself is ethereal in nature, I don't want to ruin the integrity of its physical vessel, so were going to create a bridge, this way I can seal a rune in the sword without having to etch it into the actual weapon itself off the bat."
  84.
  85. "Do you have sort of metal slab I can etch on, or do you mind your table getting scratched up a bit?"
  86. (Sága)
  87. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  88.
  89. [19:00] Seifer gave a small gesture with his hand, not wanting to inconvenience Sága more than necessary.
  90.
  91. "You can do it here if you want. I do believe that the sword's nature will make it easier for it to cross realms - it seems... unable to stick to one naturally. So a temporary bridge may be best. One that allows you to reach the next plane over to do the work so that it'll remain on the blade even if the blade itself doesn't remain in this spirit realm."
  92. (Seifer Gardios)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [19:00] "That works for me if it does for you, there is something that I'm going to need for you to do for me."
  96.
  97. She begins by clearing the table, doing the best she could to keep all of the teapots as neat as possible.
  98.
  99. "Take the sword of the table for a moment please."
  100.
  101. She begins by drawing a tiny circle in the center of the table...
  102.
  103. "I'm going to explain this, because I need you to understand why I do it this way..."
  104.
  105. "A mathematical fractal is a phenomenon in which similar patterns recur at progressively smaller scales, and in describing partly random or chaotic phenomena such as crystal growth, fluid turbulence, and galaxy formation. In essence, what you'll be doing is just drawing that same circle in the center, but as a perimeter. Each circle that you draw need to be emended with your *unique* brand of magic."
  106.
  107. "This point is critical because each small circle will act as recurring commands for the rune, this enables your mana imprint to increase at an *exponential* level, allowing only those with *similar signatures of your magical alignment to even wield this weapon properly. Not only will it act as the base for an anchor, but it will allow you to call on the weapon, locate it from *any location* as long as it's still in tact."
  108.
  109. "Britanian Style Runewriting stresses layering runes together to strengthen the command your trying to embed. I personally take that a step further by exponentially increasing the amount of layers by creating a rune for each section. I don't know if this is a lot to follow, so all you need to do to put it in its simplest terms is to make a perimeter of circles around that tiny one that I placed and put your mana into *each individual circle. Then I'll do the rest, if you want me to, I can explain as I go so that you can have a better understanding. If you need me to just shutup and do the job, just let me know that too."
  110. (Sága)
  111. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  112.
  113. [19:00] Sága breaths in and takes in spiritual energy as she prepares
  114. (Sága)
  115. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  116.
  117. [19:00] It was a lot to take in while holding on a sword and watching the woman putting in work and thought into this. The complicated runework was far, far beyond the level he was currently at when it came to understanding Wayfinding but it remained simple enough.
  118.
  119. .. After she explained to him the process in a simpler way, that is.
  120.
  121. "It's easier to explain it like that." He says soon after the brief, simple explanation. Following in her motions the young man began drawing upon the table circle after circle, forming a wall of them surrounding the original one.
  122.
  123. A greater number than he'd expected, but it would do. Seifer's hand then moved up over the circles he'd just traced, pouring some of his mana into them - infusing them as it were while offering the blade back to the woman for her to position it properly and start her work.
  124. (Seifer Gardios)
  125. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  126.
  127. [19:00] As he completes the perimeter, she breaths onto the table. A blue fog slowly covering it as a map of runes are slowly outlined and interconnecting to the point in the center.
  128.
  129. She takes out a different stylus, one made of arcanium, she begins her work slowly and diligently. Each symbol is coupled with repeating symbols. Spiraling into along the perimeter. With each one completed, she takes in, and releases another breath, breathing life into the rune itself.
  130.
  131. "I don't have to explain to you that the lifestream is a living thing, it can be fickle and it can be accommodating at time. You're nature is going to make it *very* easy for you to walk alongside it, I'm excited to see how you progress in the future, you really are a pretty good guy."
  132.
  133. Her hands hover over the runes as she draws them, strange gestures are made with the completion of each section until she has completed the project. If one where to look closer, they could seelayer upon layer of tiny runic symbals and complexes that make up the ultimate grand scheme the total project.

  136.
  137. "I want you to think of something, or someone that you consider home. Something that can bring you back from the brink of despair, something that can guide you through the deepest, darkest abyss without any semblance of doubt in your heart. You have to think hard, the sword itself is made by a primordial's dream from your description so your will has to match a primordial's in essence, can you do that Seifer, do you have anything in your heart that makes you feel *that* strongly?"
  138. (Sága)
  139. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  140.
  141. [19:00] Was there ever a time where Seifer was engulfed by darkness? A time where he had lost his way and needed some sort of aid beyond all? Not... really. Though he knew those blue eyes with but a twist of cosmic dust were the kind to smile great fortune upon him. They were kind enough that he would never be lost, never lose his way, and never fall down so long as he remembered her smile. A small nod was cast in Sága's way alongside a smile, he knew all too well what, or rather, whom could keep him stable no matter what.
  142. (Seifer Gardios)
  143. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  144.
  145. [19:00] She continued on breathing will into the circle. To anchor an fleeting vessel, it wasn't the most difficult task, but to use that vessel for combat might be tricky for the uninitiated.
  146.
  147. "Place the sword in the circle, we're getting there, but we aren't finished yet."
  148.
  149. She was going to ensure that this was done properly, she could feel the amount of elation that was building up inside, she knew that with the proper writing, this would be part of a weapon that would be legend...it was time to begin a new era.
  150.
  151.
  152. (Sága)
  153. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  154.
  155. [19:00] Seifer did just as requested as the blue fog spread further. The blade is carefully, slowly put down into the collection of circles - ready for the woman to proceed with the next step as it stood. His mind remained upon this everlasting bundle of joy he fell for. There was no reason to look away from her - to think of anything else.
  156. (Seifer Gardios)
  157. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  158.
  159. [19:00] Slowly, the runes begin to burn into the table, and then as the light shined and grew brighter, each of them watched as the runes would trace themselves into the blade, the burns on the table slowly dissipating. It was a simple process, but at the same time it was delicate.
  160.
  161. As the light fades into the steel of the weapon, the very fabric of its core begins to vibrate softly, the runes latching on to whatever semblance of a physical vessel that would allow itself to remain in the physical realm. No matter what it took, the sword itself would never truly be the traditional *stable*, this was a different weapon, a weapon made to not only sate the need for physical battle, but for a spiritual one as well. I would take time, but the sword would soon find self-actualization. It was only a matter of will power.
  162.
  163. "Leave it on the table for an hour, the runes will take time to imprint due to the nature of this sword. I want to ask, where did you actually get it? Was it the blind goddess's dream?"
  164. (Sága)
  165. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  166.
  167. [19:00] Seifer observes as the runes began taking form upon the blade, tracing themselves alive on its surface in a grand and magnificent nature. While the process would take some time it was no issue; he could remain by the weapon at all times after all.
  168.
  169. "It was in Eos' dream, yes."
  170. (Seifer Gardios)
  171. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  172.
  173. [19:00] Sága asks, "Is there anything else that you need Seifer?"
  174. [19:00] Sága asks, "Anything at all?"
  175. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "Ah..."
  176. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "No, I think that's all for now."
  177. [19:00] Sága nods
  178. (Sága)
  179. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  180.
  181. [19:00] Seifer Gardios asks, "Is there anything I can help you with?"
  182. [19:00] Sága says, "Not at the moment."
  183. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "Ah."
  184. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "Well-"
  185. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "Thank you for your help."
  186. [19:00] Seifer Gardios says, "It's greatly appreciated."
  187. [19:00] Sága says, "Take care friend."
