- In your service in the Imperial Guard, you may find yourself in situations where you face punishment for crimes or breaches of discipline. This is your own fault, for failing to educate yourself on the Imperial Guard's Principles and Regulations. Discipline must necessarily be Harsh, for if one soldier tries to flout authority, the entire system of the regiment comes into danger. Examples must be made, and the Commissars are ever Vigilant. Imperial Justice will not be denied.
- OOC: It can be generally assumed that things like "Saluting an Officer" or "Going to Worship" are automatic-you will be only punished if you specifically note your character does not do that. The same generally applies to things like "Showing Respect to Officers/the Emperor"-failing to name a Colonel's proper titles is generally forgivable as is reffering to the Emperor in an informal manner, but calling an Officer an idiot in earshot of a Commissar will see you flogged, and saying the Emperor is not infallible will most likely see you shot or sent to a penal battalion. Also note that you can attempt to talk your way out of punishment, but you will have to have a very good argument. Most of these are straight from the imperial infantryman's Uplifting Primer.
