The Lord Monotyke

The Lord Monotyke is a bot created by scpinion to help manage the Monotype Room's Monthly Championship. When official tournaments are started using The Lord Monotyke (with .startOT) the bot will automatically collect and process the data from that tour and use it to maintain the Monotype Monthly Championship Leaderboard.

A note to participates in Official Tournaments: The staff will not be transferring points between alts for the OT standings. If you chose to compete in the OT's please do so on a single account.

With a simple alteration to the source code, the bot is capable of watching chat and processing data from all tournaments (similar in functionality to the Tournaments room bot). If you're interested in viewing the source code please pm scpinion.

The Lord Monotyke also contains a number of useful commands for visitors to the Monotype Room. If you have any suggestions for improvement or find any bugs, please pm scpinion on PS! or Smogon.

.reloadPastTours
Reloads all tours saved on the bot's hard drive to the pastTours object. Used to recover from a crash or PS! restart.

.updateStandings
Updates the standings object and currentStandings.txt to reflect the tours stored in the pastTours object. Used to recover from a crash or PS! restart.

.updateTourLog
Updates the tourLog.txt to reflect the tours stored in the pastTours object. Used to recover from a crash or PS! restart.
