  1. Before anyone would really approach Bhaine and actually speak to him, he's given a period of absolute solitude in the cells, a good argument to reconsider whatever words he would say once someone actually visits him- for even this loneliness is temporary, it could end in something that would ensure no future journey of his would continue.
  2.
  3. And by now, Ookami should be guessing what sort of fate that is.
  4.
  5. Though, that doesn't mean he wasn't fed or given any water; it's quite the contrary, it's not the first time Valmasia had to host some prisoners in their cells. One day, Arthur made his way to Bhaine's cell, the door soon shutting behind him- while Gideon was the one to imprison him, it's clear his authority overrides that of his.
  6.
  7. "Hello there."
  8.
  9. "I believe you've stirred up quite the trouble before to get yourself here, haven't you? How is your stay so far?"
  10. (Arthur Rowan)
  11.
  12. Neo waves his arms franticly! Only to halt, pointing to the fucking muzzle they put on him. It was clear as day, the child wasn't happy at all. The cold cell walls, the months of literally nothing.
  13.
  14. No social anything, no fun, questioning if he was going make it through this alive.
  15.
  16. It was all so dumb. Being trapped, having no control over his own fate. He felt entitled to a good life, despite his many sins. Hypocritical, this Ookami is.
  17.
  18. "Mmm! Mmm! Mmmm!" The muzzle was on tight as hell, he couldn't really get it off sadly.
  19. (Bhaine)
  20.
  21. "Ah... right. They've disobeyed the order after all, haven't they..."
  22.
  23. There's a sigh from Adjudicator. It would only mean that he'd need to settle the matters with Nihilexia and Gideon at once, considering that they actually went up against what was ordered to them. Obviously, the presence of this Ookami would stir some issue, but then again, aren't they capable of finding that issue elsewhere, always?
  24.
  25. He reaches out, carefully to remove the muzzle. The keen scarlet eyes inspect him briefly for apparent injuries or bruise, as if to figure out if they've been actually abusing him, but he continues speaking.
  26.
  27. "That should do the trick."
  28.
  29. "Based on your look and tone, I wouldn't say you were having a good time here, were you?"
  30. (Arthur Rowan)
  31.
  32. "THE DUMB WHORE KICKED ME IN MY PRIVATE AREAS! AGHHHH!"
  33.
  34. He was seeping with anger, after a few heavy breaths the Ookami regained his composure. A hand making contact with his cheek, as he directed his gaze to the Valmasian official.
  35.
  36. "Ight! Ight! I'm sorry, I'm just very fucking pissed. No my time is fucking terrible yes! That Gideon retard! Fuck him! And his dumb whore friend, you cannot blame me for wanting to murder them both! FUCK!"
  37.
  38. This was as calm as the youth was going to get for now, this was some bad treatment. He's never experienced such mental agony, some how he managed to endure it- or well not be broken.
  39.
  40. He was still Bhaine, and that was all that mattered. Bhaine was going to be Bhaine until the end, which may be soon. "Ight, Ight... So what's up?"
  41. (Bhaine)
  42.
  43. --This is odd.
  44.
  45. Now that he sees his face from up close, without a muzzle, he carefully examines his features with as much precision as he could. Something reminds him of Khaine in this one... it's not just the physical appearance, but it's also the way he speaks.
  46.
  47. Why, wouldn't Arthur know better? Khaine is his undead slave, after all.
  48.
  49. "No. I'm not blaming you for that."
  50.
  51. "The only thing you've been blamed for, so far, is the fact that you've been caught assisting those that killed Abbigail. Rather... stopping others from saving her."
  52.
  53. Arthur adjusts the heavy coat on his shoulders. There's no rage, no seething anger in his eyes about it- the situation went quiet, and more than likely, majority of the children have left to other places or died elsewhere. There's no need to keep killing them.
  54.
  55. "And that warranted deaths for some others. You can consider yourself lucky by not dying yet- unless you don't value your life, of course."
  56.
  57. "I was willing to discuss the matters of giving you another chance, but ah--"
  58.
  59. "Before we speak, tell me, do you know the name of your father?"
  60. (Arthur Rowan)
  61.
  62. Anyone who knew Khaine, should easily be able to tell. This one is his. Bhaine's expression was slowly getting better as he exchanged words with the male, social anything was all he needed really.
  63.
  64. "Aye! Wait now! Lemme explain!" A pause, it seemed people had gotten things mixed up. Bhaine fought to fight, not to kill that woman. He even allowed them to help standing aside when they came to her aid.
  65.
  66. He was only speaking down on the woman and her death, because of Gideon. "I fought the lot of 'em, 'cause I wanted some blood. Ye'? When dragon lady, and Frank came I stood aside. Fate is fate, so if she was supposed to die the she would, I wasn't goin' to stop them I jus' wanted to enjoy the battle, wasn't there to kill."
  67.
  68. He tried his best to explain his self. The battle was one of his favorites, bringing a smile to the Ookami's face as he thinks back on it. The bloody dance that was the battle he took part in.
  69.
  70. "I only speak down on her, because Gideon is retard."
  71.
  72. The question peaked his interest. Who was Bhaine's father? Surprisingly no one had asked before, and Bhaine was glad to tell. A loud laugh escaping his small frame.
  73.
  74. "Gahahahahaha! One of the wildest! Khaine! Gahahahaha!" He'd pound his chest gaze locked on to Arthur, the boy was proud of his lineage.
  75. (Bhaine)
  76.
  77. Ah, so it was Khaine's after all.
  78.
  79. It wasn't that hard to guess, but he had to be sure. There's almost an undeniable smile that appears on Arthur's face, now that he remembers the time when he captured the Ookami, when he drove him down to these very cells and how he enslaved him. All thanks to Necromancy, of course.
  80.
  81. "That's amusing."
  82.
  83. "You know, your father once was my prisoner. We treated him right, but ah-- you see, he never really... got better, in the head. Eventually, I gave up giving him second chances, and..."
  84.
  85. "He died. He came back as something else, something better - something that belongs to me."
  86.
  87. From all of the undead that wander around Valmasia, Bhaine could've easily guessed what sort of fate could await for him, should he displease Adjudicator to the point of no redemption as well.
  88.
  89. "But I can be a generous and patient man."
  90.
  91. "I'll offer a single chance. A single chance for you to keep your life - but that life will be in Academy's halls, with the other students, and eventually, in the ranks of Valmasian military."
  92.
  93. "Accept it, and you will be allowed to live. Deny it, and... wait and see."
  94.
  95. Though, with a pause, he speaks.
  96.
  97. "I suggest for you to say the truth and truth only. If I see the slightest hint of a lie, I'll feed you truth potion anyway."
  98. (Arthur Rowan)
  99.
  100. So he did kick the bucket after all those years.
  101.
  102. Standing before Bhaine was more than just a leader, more than just a Magi, standing before Bhaine was the slayer of his creator. Though there was more to it, not only did he kill but he gave back.
  103.
  104. He gave him another shot, but in the most degrading way. Belonging to someone. Bhaine couldn't fathom it, his father not only losing but becoming the property of another.
  105.
  106. Yea it pissed him off a lot.
  107.
  108. He didn't speak on it, he let his expression do the talking. The lifeless stare which was probably nothing to the chaos Magi, but still. Bhaine's heart was racing- though there was at least a chance at a reunion and that was good enough.
  109.
  110. "I don't care. I don't fuckin' care about that military shit I'll join, but." A pause. The child rolled his shoulders, stretching his neck and what not.
  111.
  112. "I want to kill Gideon, and if I am allowed out of the cell I will not harm anyone but him. He will die by my hands if I am allowed to live, so if that is a problem red."
  113.
  114. He'd motion to his neck.
  115.
  116. "Nice and clean, keep my face pretty and put me on display."
  117. (Bhaine)
  118.
  119.
  120. Like father, like son. While listening to the profane words that spill from the boy's lips, she can only imagine what it would be like if she were to douse herself heavily in that type of freedom. To be unfiltered...To say what comes to mind without having tact, rhythm, or rhyme for all those that are around. In the end, a single hand presses against her lips. The gentle wave of nausea passing by...Her head shaking from left to right.
  121.
  122. Would Bhaine choose the right decision?- Or, would he do as she expects him to do in the end? She finds that leaving fate within the hands of those that are like him is rather...Odd. It's akin to a game because they're all like an anomaly. Mysterious, ever-shifting, the same one day...And then different the next. For now, with both hands raising carefully to her temples..
  123.
  124. She simply continues to listen.
  125.
  126. A heavy frown appearing upon her features in response to his reply. "..." Gideon sure has made himself a lot of enemies. And if she had knowledge of Gideon's scamming, she most certainly would imagine just how far he'd get with Arthur's own discontent. Eventually though, the Ruger will fail to stand.
  127.
  128. That much is certain. From all of his enemies.
  129. (Bei Bei)
  130.
  131. There were many problems with Gideon that have caused the Adjudicator to view the Oscuri under less favourable light. It's not just disobedience to the orders, but the shady acts behind his back and poor decision making. There's no doubt that eventually Gideon would make up a bigger trouble than he is now.
  132.
  133. But until that day comes? There's still use to the likes of Bhaine.
  134.
  135. "Yes, and no. You will be allowed to have your shot at revenge, eventually."
  136.
  137. "As of now, I need all numbers I can muster in order to... assault something else. You'll grow stronger and older, and you'll join these assaults. If Gideon dies on the battlefield, so be it, but--"
  138.
  139. "Until his use is exhausted, you won't touch him."
  140.
  141. Though, there's a pause. Didn't he already lose the fight to him before, and they fought one-on-one?
  142.
  143. "Not like you can actually defeat him right now, anyway."
  144.
  145. He reaches out, undoing any possible restraints that kept Bhaine secured in this prison. The mana collar still stays, of course- if Ookami became disobedient, he could still use that.
  146.
  147. "To recap it to you--"
  148.
  149. "You will wait. You will grow stronger and older. You will see more battle. Gideon will see battle too."
  150.
  151. "If he dies, he dies. If he doesn't, you can have your shot at him once I had my use. These are your conditions of staying alive. Fail to comply, and you'll join your father."
  152.
  153. "Is that clear?"
  154. (Arthur Rowan)
  155.
  156. He was already preparing to die.
  157.
  158. Raising his neck, giving Arthur an easy shot. A quick easy kill, he thought it was all over and done.
  159.
  160. 'FUCKING WHAT'
  161.
  162. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was given another shot, again. Still a bit shaken about his father fate, a mixture of good and bad emotions the child was contempt.
  163.
  164. He will get his shot.
  165.
  166. For now the boy was more focused on growing in power, and becoming better equipped for the world ahead. Razor, Aiko, Kaido, Veritas. All legends to be and he couldn't fall behind no.
  167.
  168. A confirming nod from the youth before he speaks his piece. First clearing his throat. "Alright. I'll do me, grow, live, and fight. I ain't gone touch him no more you got it." This man was annoying.
  169.
  170. Murderer of his father, yet he spared Bhiane's life. It just didn't make sense to him, he didn't know if he should attempt as his life or thank him for his kindness.
  171.
  172. A deep breath, exhaling from his nostrils.
  173.
  174. "Thank you, I ain't gone disappoint. Just keep that whore on a leash please, cause she's really fucking bad. Like I don't think she should be allowed around children."
  175.
  176. From this day on, Bhaine would have to grow, Bhaine was going to become a soldier. For the land that is Valmasia.
  177. (Bhaine)
  178.
  179. In reality, Arthur had the nation to take care of - Valmasia. If taking care of nation meant expunging the potential traitor that Gideon happens to be, while acquiring another soldier that was Ookami right infront of him--
  180.
  181. -- why not?
  182.
  183. Even for the likes of Khaine, the only reason for his ultimate death was the fact that he failed to cooperate at every single turn. As wild as he was, that wilderness is what killed him - when he was caught, he had no place to retreat to, he had nothing to rely on, and the only thing Arthur could do in order to ensure his loyalty was Necromancy.
  184.
  185. The last resort.
  186.
  187. "Good. It would be a shame to waste your potential if you simply fight Gideon now. You won't be able to beat him in your current state."
  188.
  189. "The war is brewing, son of Khaine. You'll yet see the countless battles in which you can participate, and Gideon's use is not infinite. When the time comes, when you become stronger and older, when I had my use - you will have your chance."
  190.
  191. "Until then, you know what to do. The Academy lessons will be starting soon. You might find it useful to actually learn something."
  192.
  193. Arthur turned. Bhaine was free of his restraints, free to walk out of here - and while this could also mean exposure of escape route, in the end... would any of it be worth, to flee? He would not get a second chance if he throws away this one.
  194.
  195. "Goodbye."
  196. (Arthur Rowan)
