  1. Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure
  2. Overview of Strike Missions and Fractal Dungeon
  3.
  4. Strike missions:
  5.
  6. 1. Cosmic Observatory:
  7. In SotO's first strike mission, players will find themselves in the midst of the cosmic observatory, high up in the Wizard's Tower, crossing paths with the mighty protector Isgarren. Suspicious of the commander’s intentions, he surprises the commander with his magic trials. Only by showcasing their strengths and morals through overcoming Isgarren's tests and puzzles can the commander hope to earn his trust.
  8. Unlike most previous strike missions, it contains elements in which results more in a linear progression previously seen in raids. Here the commander has to navigate through the observatory, fighting off the magic guardians and avoiding magical "traps", aesthetically similar to Qadim's prefight in Wing 6. This in the end culminates in an intense face-off with Isgarren himself.
  9.
  10. 2. Temple of Febe:
  11. As players journey through the battle against the Kryptis, they will eventually be confronted by a familiar figure, bigger and more daunting than ever: Deimos. Emerging through rifts, this elevated version of Deimos brings with him the might of the Kryptis army. This strike features a fight in a temple located in Amnytas, where you'll have to fight off Deimos and his two Kryptis companions. Those aiming to take down the challenge mode version of Temple of Febe should prepare for a difficulty comparable to the Harvest Temple challenge mode fight.
  12.
  13. Fractal Dungeon
  14.
  15. Tower of Courage:
  16. Planned for the second expansion release, the Tower of Courage fractal offers players a meeting with a villain previously known from the original Guild Wars. Unique here is the potential drop of a rare mount skin. As for its Challenge Mode, it will arrive in the third and last release of the expansion cycle. Similar to Silent Surf, this encounter is more similar to the fundaments of a strike mission than a traditional Fractal.
