You don't really need anyone to tell you that being a penniless wino whose wife ditched him sucks but the blues is still a genre. Sometimes people just sing and write music to express themselves and vent/organize their thoughts and feelings. Hence Angel Dust singing about the addiction cycle.

I'd say music overall would be a lot more popular in Hell due to the many generations in Hell that specialize in certain types of music. (World war 2 soldiers with hymns and 1850s slaves with the blues as examples) and the fact that music is a way that many use to cope with.

Viv Hell is a lot worse than our world so people are going to cope a lot more. Which would music more popular.

I mean, Trench and Killjoy hardly seem like members of the AP. More like tabloid journalists. I'd imagine their audience was probably more into Jerry Springer than Carl Sagan.

I do believe that Viv said Lucifer will not intrude on people that make fun of Charlie due to her needing to be able to take sht and dish it back out. She's future ruler of hell and needs to be able to tolerate copious amounts of sht. I think Viv said demons are just not allowed to physically kill her and that's it. Smack her around sure but not kill her. So Charlie isn't being given the mantle for free. She's earning it. Kinda badass desu.

Anyway, this makes sense. She's going to have to take up the mantle eventuallyy and having some shtty child that can't handle criticism would lead to Hell becoming even worse than usual.
