  25. Physical Description:
  26. From a brilliant azure hue that his body exhibits to his slightly amorphous limbs, Eternalis has all the hallmarks of a water-born slimekind. The body shape that Eternalis defaults to is undoubtedly humanoid, and he stands rather intimidatingly in his bulky armor that he often wears. However, he seems to have a hard time making it anything convincingly human-looking, with how his elbow joints keep sagging, or how slime keeps oozing out of his boots, or how his face is barely a caricature with two dots and a mouth. Without his armor, Eternalis is actually rather light in weight, though his bodily composition makes him much more resilient than one may expect.
  27.
  28. Background:
  29. From what Eternalis divulges of his past, Eternalis was once a slimekind magically bound into service to a sorceress living in a tower in some unknown locale. Pressed into details, his recollections could lead one to deduce it to be somewhere in Varisia, but nothing more specific. He mentions that he was a "failed experiment", as the sorceress said, but he was kept around as a familiar. Slimekind normally have inherited memories that they possess from their parents, but Eternalis mentions having no such thing, his earliest recollection being that of sitting in a cauldron in the sorceress's tower.
  30.
  31. From what he retells of his days with the sorceress, it's also evident that Eternalis has somewhat of an "overly helpful attitude", to put it lightly. His tales of destroyed magical catalysts and disrupted experiments are numerous, triggered by misunderstood commands, misplaced concerns, or simple clumsiness. These failures would only be noticed by someone with a similar magical profession, though, he tends to spin them as positive memories instead. It would always end with the sorceress somehow reassuring him that he hadn't made the mistake, before sending him off somewhere after these incidents, or herself leaving.
  32.
  33. At some point, it may have been the final straw, as he was sent off to do some menial errand after disrupting another one of the sorceress's experiments. When he returned, he found the sorceress's tower entirely gone, with him left out in the dry. As such, he has wandered around in travel, searching for her once more, trying to carry out her last command of: "Please go help someone else somewhere for now".
  34.
  35. Arriving to Magnimar in his travels, Eternalis met the party after running into each other while exploring a cave system. Due to a misunderstanding with hostilities, they narrowly avoided clashing. Afterwards, he assisted the party through the cave, and joined them formally thereafter.
